Broph: Glad to 'see' you again. You were missed in Reno. Hopefully you can make it to Vancouver next year. And I agree also about using alias'. It is much safer. Endora: As long as I wake up in the field around noon or so:) Glad to hear you're having fun with Sam R and Larry Tate.

Hi All! I'm sitting at Sam R's kitchen table with Sam R and Larry Tate...Larry brought over a small portion of his EM collection and he and Sam are having a wonderful time. He doesn't have any photos of AM thus I am still coherent enough to post :-) We went for a yummy breakfast this morning, I had French Toast since they were fresh out of raven's eggs, Mr. Tate and Sam had omelettes (how mortal!) Big Dave: Empty threats huh? We'll see how empty it is when you wake up a carrot in a field of rabbits! I shall be watching my mailbox carefully, and I advise all of you to do the same....Broph: I agree wholeheartedly about the aliases...and I'm SOOOOO glad to see you posting....you take care of yourself sweetie....we love you....

Larry Tate: Thanks for the clarification! But it does make sense that Ted would want those colorized episodes since he's been doing it for so long! All this fuss about N@N, when they only show Bewitched in the wee hours of the morning when I can't watch it! I hope somebody else gets the rights to it... at least maybe they'll show it at a decent hour! Broph: Welcome Back! You are right about the nicknames. Hope all is going well for you...

Hi all - sounds like Reno was a blast - I'm sorry I missed it and I'm working on a note telling a bit more about what's been going on and why I wasn't able to go on the trip myself. Things have been better as of late, but life is as busy as always. BTW, I made some edits this morning to some earlier posts - although the person hadn't said anything to me, I realized this late that a "real" name had popped up from time to time instead of a nickname - the person had asked me a previous time to change it, so I made the changes this time. It's great that we're close and know some real names, but using the nicknames on the board help protect some identities and let others who may not know a real name who we're talking about - just something that I noticed. Sorry for the edits and just let me know if you think I'm wrong.

Oh yeah, Endora, I wish I could break you of the habit of making empty threats:) Spell, schmell...By the way I'm sending Sam R her tape tomorrow. I'm sorry I couldn't do it sooner. Now, I know after that last post you're clamoring for details so here they are. Sam R woke me at the crack of noon, and proceeded to walk us 3654 miles to Stanley Park so we could "stroll" around the sea wall (a mere 7890 miles). After continually lying about how much further we had to go and saying cruel things like "AM would be disappointed in you for whining..." she finally got us a cab. At that point the evil Sam R disappeared and she became her sweet loveable Reno self again. We had a lovely dinner at Brother John's where all the waiters dress like monks, they offer you "Holy Spirits" (drinks), and call the menu "Scriptures". I had steak and lobster (not lobster mousse though, as I only enjoy AM's recipe for that!) and yes Tituba and Cody I DID wear the correct shoes, and no, I didn't scrape my knee this time...but it wouldn't have mattered if I had, as after the first 1000 miles I stopped feeling my legs. Anyway, that's been day 2, now I'm off for scones, homemade jam, clotted cream, ice cream, smarties (British M&Ms made w/Cadbury chocolate) color episodes of Bewitched, and a full body massage by Sam R...after that refreshment I shall cast the appropriate spells on both Big Dave and *ick@Nite for their impertinence....TTFN darlings...

PROZAC time my friends as i am very skeptical about bewitched getting cancelled by N@N with all those other shows as well as i can't see them canning all those @ once making me think that the bewitched report is mistaken.if it is true then i am 99% sure bewitched will end up on tv land & if not then n@n will have lost it's exclusive tv rights for cable opening the door for TBS or WGN or such to pick bewitched up.one way or another i am sure one of these situations will come about.LING LING i am sorry but prime is more like n@n & has no connection to TBS in anyway but this would not preclude TBS from getting the colorized episodes from dynacs digital productions who did the colorization for COLUMBIA TRI-STAR so it may yet come to pass.MICHELLE you are very welcome re info.& yes LIZ should have gotten an emmy for between the darkness till the dawn as her performence was wonderful & heartfelt, welcome CODY to the board,we look forward to your posts, welcome back TABATHA the bands loss is our gain,EDWINA thanks for the reno update, perhaps your broom has a sticky valve re your interesting landing,a young lady like yourself needs a more modern model wink!!,SAM R what a nice greeting for her lavenderness ,you could have sent me a jet or @ least borrowed EDWINA'S broom sniff! sniff!.maybe endora needs to soak her delicate tootsies in some pepsi max to reinvigorate them.tom hanks as darrin, excellent.

Big Dave and Tituba: Now now, children! Let's not gang up on poor Endora. She wasn't the only one who wore the wrong shoes to Emerald Bay. Sam R: Well I knew you would be taking pictures so consider it an empty threat. And I agree with Tituba about Endora's walking shoes. We don't want to look at scrapes and cuts accrued on her Vancouver trip. She all ready has too many from Emerald Bay. I would suggest flying but as we all know with Canada being at the top the atmosphere is much too thin. Skip: I wasn't aware that you also lived in Canada. Trust me, if I could move there I would. Just for the BW factor. Ling Ling: I hope you're right about TBS here acquiring the colorized episodes...and speaking of *ick@Nite I wrote them a very firm letter yesterday. I'm hoping the rest of you will do the same. I'm thinking of sending the same letter today and every day until I get a response...yesterday at work I was looking at my Reno pictures and one of my supervisors noticed the BW shirts we were wearing. She told me that when she was little and would play house with her friends she would always play Samantha. She also remarked about how beautiful she thought Samantha was. And then she twitched her nose. I think it's neat how people fondly remember BW.

It seems to me that I've read somewhere that the Canada network that shows the colorized episodes is like the Canadian TBS. If that's so, maybe the American TBS will get the rights to Bewitched after September and show them in color here as well. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong about the networks... I'm just hoping that TBS (or anyone else) gets the rights to those colorized episodes! Sam R and Endora: Have a blast! I miss you both! And I'm green with envy, of course. Eat some clotted cream and scones for me!

BIG DAVE: What is this? Are you intimating that you would take your 'big sister' and our 'Own Brand of Endora' and roast us like marshmellows and include us in the dubious company with '*icks & Nite?' I will immediately go wake up Endora who I assume is still sleeping, (but I don't hear the coffee pot perculating) and inform her of what you posted....boy you had better start running young man! Seriously though, I will be bringing my camera today when we tour the city. I will make sure that Endora wears comfortable shoes, as I intend to walk her *ss off. I am sorry to hear about this bad news about our beloved BW not being in the fall line up. I think I will refrain from mentioning this to Endora until she has had her coffee with scones and clotted cream. P.S. I miss you all so much!

Big Dave: I empathize with those of you upset over Nick at Nite's decision to axe 'Bewitched'. As far as I can see, the only solution is to move to Canada and watch the entire series in colour and UNCUT on Prime. The quality of the prints is superb, and the colorization is extremely well done.

Oooo, I'm so stinkin' mad at N@N!!! They have some nerve claiming to be classic t.v.'s home and they're taking the most classic t.v. show off??!! What in the name of Merlin's beard are they thinking? I hope they're not too surprised when they find themselves roasting like marshmallows on an open volcano!!!! Now where the heck are we supposed to watch BW? Certainly not on the SGN because they only show the same eps over and over and over. I agree with Ryan. We need to fill their e-mail box to overflowing with just title in the message area: DO NOT CANCEL BEWITCHED, MORONS!!!!! Sam R and Endora: I can't even express jealous I am that you guys are having a preview of what next years going to be like. Sam R thank you for bringing your EM scrapbook to Reno. I loved looking through it. Have fun and tell us all about it. And I'm sure you're taking pictures because if you're not, well then some ladies I know might join N@N in the marshmallow roast of the century! Cody: Glad to see you've joined us again.

Mizeriel: I think it's fantastic that you are writing fan-fiction. If you go to my links site, http://www.fromlondon.freeserve.co.uk/bewlinks.html - and choose the 'fanfiction' option on the left, you'll see that I've only found one Bewitched-related fanfiction article on the web. If you wish I can put your work on my site, or if you prefer to put it on your own web-page, perhaps you'll give me the url and let me link to it when you are ready? .... PS Other Reno guys, thx for posting that information, I'm putting it on my conventions page...lol....Michelle and Mizeriel, I've also put your comments in the 'Which Questions are Asked Most' area, regarding who you think should play in a Bewitched movie.

I am so sorry everyone. Bewitched IS NOT on Nick at Nite's September fall schedule!!! Neither is Happy Days, Bewitched, Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke or Newhart. Since isn't even on the scheulde I won't bother giving the schedule. If you want to know when a certain show is on, e-mail personally. Bewitched's last airdate is on September 4th. I had heard Bewitched's contract would expire near the end of summer 2000. I doubt Bewitched is just on hiatus for the month.
E-mail, e-mail, e-mail Nick at NIte and tell them to put our show back on!!!

Hi everyone! I arrived safely and we realized Canada does have Pepsi One after all, but they call it Pepsi Max...so I've upgraded them to a second world country :-)! Sam R had the limo driver meet me (as, to quote Big Dave, the air here is too thin to fly) he had a sign that said "Endora please land here!" then in her window she had a sign that said "Welcome Endora..." her EM collection is super fab, and she's even got some AM mixed in, but not enough for me (ha ha). Larry Tate: Sit near your phone... Edwina: Glad to see you landed ok, though I wish you hadn't had to lighten your wallet to get down faster (hee hee). Cody: Glad to see you posting but you probably shouldn't use my name and the word "influence" in the same sentence...you'll scare your mother! Everyone: Reno was the best...and Vancouver's shaping up to be nearly as good...can't wait till next year when we do it again...and this time from Sam and Larry's backyard...Sam R is cooking me dinner right now....that's the best thing about conventions, people who like to cook do it for their friends....we'll keep you updated if we're not too busy at the Cosmos Cotillion....

You know I was writing my fanfiction at work (Basicly a update of bewitched with a twist)
and I thought of Bette Midler as Endora also. Its strange she has the flamboyent diva style you need.
as for the rest of the cast
Darren-Tom Hanks (Comic timeing, really good at playing the every man)
Samantha-Genna Elfman (Funny, cute and a bit flakey)
Larry Tate- A bit unusual but Ozzy Davis a black Lary tate would give it a cool multiracial feel.
Serena-Going against using the same actress as the twin cousin I vote for Debi Mazar
lol and trust me guys one day this movie will come to past.

Hi Everybody! I havent much to say tonight, so I will not write a long message, I was watching Liz Montgomery in Between The Darkness & The Dawn a few days ago, it was fab! Liz should of been offered a Emmy for that or at least a nomination! I was thinking about the Bewitched movie, and I think Bette Midler would make a perfect Endora, and Bill Pullman Could Do A perfect Darrin, and how about Lisa Kudrow as Samantha? anyone agree? I would still prefer for the movie not to be made, I did think Walter Matthau would of made a great Abner Kravitz but he as died so that is out of the question? Thanks LARRY TATE for all that info, I will email you again over the weekend you a love! bye for now folks!

Hi Everybody! Well, my turn.... Reno is piles of dirt Mountains High!(Tee hee hee)
The town is marvelous!
NO wonder the Queen lives there... The King is an awesome dude too! Along with the two Princes...and must mention the Queen Mum... Eldora...
Meeting everyone IS such a marvelous thing to do.... We forgot all about Rupert until I lost $400.00 in the slot machines... Oh okay, I won and lost and in total that is about what happened to AHEM Edwina...
(At least it is what she will admit to His Lordship anyway...)
I got home about 11:15 P.M. and me broom was not wanting to release the landing gear...so I diverted "meself" a bit.... And well.... long story even longer here I am! I am feeling rather Aunt "Claraie” I overshot the runway and scared myself silly...I landed in the fireplace... was Greeted by My “His Lordship” and the rest of the Royal family here... They missed me... they really missed me!
Reno...Oh, the food.... The Town.... The people... The family.....We had so much fun.. I wonder if it is legal to have so much fun in Reno.Tituba, Thank you ever so much for being Town Hostess with the MOSTEST! What a feast we had... I am still FULL!
It is so GREAT having met the Queen Mum! Eldora… so very appropriate! It was great hearing the generations laughing together…. Bewitched is Timeless! The proof is in what happened!
Private to MY Bill – Look away the rest of you please.. --- Happy Birthday D A R L I N G…. We had a cake for you, SCH…, and Everyone!
SCH blew out the candles and he did that in one magical moment….. Bill, it was TRULY magical! The effect was PERFECT.. you would have been, and should always be proud of him… Okay, now everyone can read from this point…
Tituba has a magnificent sense of humor… laughing at everything and everyone… what a joy!
Big Dave is a cutie patootie… Heather is really too Kewel for School! Sam R is a riot and Endora is well....Herself!
Doug and Scott are super duper dudes! I am in LOVE again!!! It was magical being able to put the faces with the names that type heartfelt words on the board….I wouldn’t have missed it for the world! Big Dave is a comedian that pops out the jokes without smearing my eyeliner….Heather I thought was AHEM.... not as tall as she is…. Beautiful and magical… Endora, is well….Herself. Sam R is charming and “Bob is your uncle!” I Love them all! Just to have had the chance to meet them… I am so honored….. We “Conventioned” reviewing Sam R’s Scrapbooks…talked about Bewitched, the cast and crew... and the weekend in its entirety was Bewitching! I am Bewitched Forever! *It is reinforced*
Vancouver…. Here we come! And Aunt Clara‘s your Aunt….
Today the Reno Bunch… Tomorrow the WORLD! Hugs to all!…. Stay Bewitched All!

HI EVERYBEAUTIFULBODY! I swooped in home at about 1 a.m. last night and barely missed coming in through the broom closet. I miss you all so much already the Reno gang but home is where your heart is and it will always be there with you all. That was such an incredible time and so beautiful. Thank you again TITUBA for your gracious and delicious hospitality! Meeting your family was such a treat. Please give the Queen Mom ELDORA a big hug for me as I missed saying good bye to her as she swooped off so fast from the hotel. I must dash now as ENDORA is arriving tomorrow and I have a million things to do. LARRY TATE will also be arriving this Friday so it is going to be another mini BW convention yet again. Goodie, Goodie!! Remember all, The next BW Convention is going to be here in Vancouver, SAME TIME NEXT YEAR. I can hardly wait!!! I love you all so much, and I mean that. Thank you SCH for your heartfelt prayer. It meant so much to me. God bless you all!

Everybody: Well, we're all here having a blast at the Queen's (Tituba) house. We had the most marvelous Italian food (ie. ravioli, egg plant stuff, yummy stuff!). Of course, the moon was full. We kept Henry here so he wouldn't fly off in his sulky. We wish the rest of you could join us but maybe next year in Vancouver...

Growing up I absolutely loved Samantha Stevens!!
As an adult; I've watch countless old movies and have to say the role for Endora - Agnes Moorehead was great. Agnes played in the Polyania movie Disney did with Haley Mills. Anyway, I really have come to appreciate her talents and the fun she must have had.
PS - check out http://www.yhomework.com its a free service and for teachers / parents / students. IF you look hard enough you'll even find a link to a site where you could register to win a 10-day cruise.

Hello All: just a quick update to let you know that I picked up Endora at the airport and knew it was her instantly by the leopard pants. We hooked up with Edwina and Sam R shortly after and they are as wonderful as I thought. We went down to the other end of the airport and waited for Sir Cousin Henry and Scott who appeared shortly there after. What a reunion this is going to be! Big Dave and Heather are on their way as I type this! More later!

I haven't gotten a chance for the personal replies I'd like to give - things are very much up in the air right now for me, but it is getting better. In the meantime, may the get-together be a fun time for you all - play nice with each other! SCH: Sigh sigh and double sigh! What great AM memories. Did you kiss the ground on Main Street as per my instruction? Edwina and Sam R are well on their way to Reno even as I type, and Big Dave, Heather Ann and myself will be there tomorrow....yippee! Ling Ling, Edwina, and Dave Guiness: I agree wholeheartedly. Both EM and AM were very private people, and I think we, as fans, should respect that. Besides, why speak of hurtful rumors and innuendo or unhappy times when there are so many beautiful stories and memories of these people and their performances to share? AM Quote for the Day: "It's seldom that you make real close friends in the theater. You have a lot of acquaintances and people whom you can say hello to and sit down and talk to, but no really close friends.....I find that when you are starring in a play, you have a certain responsibility to the cast. You have to keep that cast together, therefore, you can be friendly but you can't be overly so because then you don't have the respect and you don't have the authority."

All! Hope all is well with EVERYONE!. DARE: You are such a dear! Ling Ling: You are among the GREATS too! New Topic: I can not keep my fingers still on this... Bill Asher has never been thrown out of anywhere by anyone and never will be... Besides being a wonderful father, and husband, this incredibly talented man has such class and poise it oozes from him every moment. Our Lizzie and Our Bill parted mutually.
They are forever tied together by William (Bill) Jr. Robert (Bob) and Rebecca (Becka.) To suggest or imply that any of their three children (Or Lani and Bryan and John) had other than a magical father is out of the question Bill has and continues to regret the end of their marriage. (Also, he regrets the end of his other marriages as well.) We LOVE Bill Asher and Lizzie. (Also, we LOVE the rest of our Bewitched Family)... Both very beautiful people! Bill is a man of few words. Anyone can clearly see if they chose to look at him, the beauty within. It is visible and he shines beyond any star in the sky. Oh my stars and constellations how anyone might think or suppose anything different is well... unthinkable! My fingers are calmer now... Please be kind to our LOVES... Let US here on the board be the beacon that helps the rest of the unknowing worlds understand how wonderful all of our LOVES are.....Bill... D A R L I N G.... See you in Reno! Stay Bewitched ALL! Hugs to ALL! (BFE)

Ling Ling: I share your frustration. We will never know all the details about the split of the Ashers because, frankly, it is none of our business. From what Bill Asher said in the E! True Hollywood Story interview, Liz took the kids and distanced herself while he went to work on another production. He has admitted that this was a big mistake and that they should have took a break together when Bewitched ended. I am sure that the children were never far from their mother and they seem perfectly well adjusted and air no grivance with their father either. I can only assume by the life that Liz led after Bewitched, that she would not want fans of her work invading her personal life and especially that of her children. Remember, the children did not thrust themselves into public life and e-mailing or writing to them to discuss their mother/father's fame seems inappropriate to me. Their parents are great and they know because they had a first-hand account of it. Let's just enjoy the work that they gave us and not focus so much on what went on behind the scenes.

YES! It is TRUE! I only found out last night that Olney, IL. boasts the honor of having AM visit, sleep, eat, and shop! It so happens that Rock Hudson had relatives living here, and on occasion, he would return to visit them......bringing along, no other than the Goddess herself, Agnes Moorehead! I've talked to people yesterday telling me how they recall RH and AM walking into the restr. where they worked and sat down to eat lunch. The waitress I spoke with said: "I looked up and saw this woman with incredibly beautiful red hair, and thought to myself, I wonder if that is Agnes Moorehead?. The man holding the door open for her, after she walked into our restr. was none other than Roy Scherer, Jr. also known as Rock Hudson. Well, they seated themselves and although I don't recall what they ordered, I do recall how lovely Agnes looked in her lavendar blouse with her lovely red hair. They both were very polite and gracious, leaving a very nice tip. I didn't ask for autographs, as that would be tasteless, however, they had given them on other occasions. Upon leaving, they waved and wished us a good day." Ok. I about fell outta my skin when she told me this, yesterday! I immediately flew home to tell Jone. I knew that she would appreciate this! So, there are many more stories I'm waiting to hear, as Roy's relatives lived in Olney, IL......where AM visited with him! Can you just about burst? All these years, am I never knew that the Goddess AM walked on the very same sidewalk on Main Street, etc. that I walk on! What an incredible life I lead, eh? Lots of Love, Henry

SCH: Wow! Oh Wow! I am still so psyched. Everyone: Henry found out last night that THE Goddess, the one and only AM had actually spent time in his lovely town of Olney, IL. So of course he immediately popped over to tell me, and, since Sam R was visiting we all had a marvelous time....sigh sigh sigh....Don't forget Henry, you must kiss the ground she walked on for me today....AM Quote for the day: "I've worked with the tops, and I think they are marvelous. I'm always excited at doing scenes with people who are very experienced and know what they are doing. It's the people who don't know what they're about and are self-indulgent who are very difficult to play with."

Uncle Arthur, The outdoor scenes (at Morning Glory Circle) were filmed at what is now Warner Bros. Ranch Studio in Burbank, California. And the house (which is a facade) is still there on the back lot. I have actually gone there and seen it. I think the indoor scenes were filmed at Gower or Sony Studios in L.A.

Broph: I have been praying for you every night, and I will continue to do so. I know how it feels to lose a loved one, and so do probably everyone else on this board, so you're not alone. I wish there was something I could say to make everything all better, but I know there isn't. All I can do is pray for you, and I will. Remember: time is the best healer, but so is keeping in touch with all your other loved ones. I'm sure they're all suffering at least as much as you are, and misery loves company. I'm just glad, from what you said, that your mother made the most of her life while she still had it. Feel better. Peace Out. **in honor of Broph's mother, today Tabatha does a quick prayer to Goddess that her good actions and memories will still live on in the hearts of those who loved her, then crosses her fingers, wiggles them, and disappears** -Tabatha

I know it's been said before, but just for new readers, there's a Simpsons ep just been shown on my TV a half hour ago. It's called 'Radiocative Man', and at the start, Bart is writing his punishment lines on the blackboard as usual. He is writing, '"Bewitched" does not promote satanism.'......./......another witch article I read today, it that the Wiccans in the UK are getting loads of young teenage girls ringing them up asking about joining. This is because of the success of programs like Buffy (which has a witch in it, Willow), Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and although the article didn't mention it, Charmed. They are delighted with the extra interest, although when the girls ring up, they tell them two things. Firstly, (as with most religions), the basic tenet of witchcraft is not to do harm to others. And secondly, it's not an easy way to get a boyfriend. LOL

MICHELLE,you are right about missing pieces being an excellent movie & although a first rate drama it had many funny moments in it as well as it was a throwback to the 1940's genra of crime mysteries like philip marlowe etc.,& yes it would have made a great weekly tv series as would have jennifer a womans story which was a pilot done in 1979 as a 2 hr. movie for nbc,i guess she wasn't interested in doing a series @ the time.i think it was the tv guide site where dick york when he first met liz said that she was sex all over with soft brown hair & full lips ,deep sigh!!.i think a computer generated remake of bewitched with the original actors would be ideal but if not i like the idea of a prequel showing us a side of samantha & company that we never saw on bewitched such as samantha as a little girl ,by hollywood hall of fame i assume you mean hollywood walk of fame either way ditto big time,re vic & wendy perhaps they just don't know the answers to your questions that you are asking.eddie i dream of jeannie's 1st season was colorized by prime.alan rafkin who directed ep # 15 the 1st xmas episode said that the bewitched set & cast was a breeze to direct compared to laverene & sherley which was a nighmare apparently.big dave the xmas ep should air on fri. on prime & i assume the will air the original 14 & 15 cuts with them perhaps showing the recut versions when they get around to their spots in the second season.

BROPH: I am so sorry to hear of your loss. No words can heal; only time has that power. I am not an overly religious person, but I do believe there is a God and I do turn to Him during my lowest times, and amazingly when I do so, positive things begin to happen in my life. My thoughts are with you and your mother.

Hi groovers I am back again because I forgot to mention something. I have emailed Wendy a few times at the Bewitched Website, she replies okay, but she doesn't seem to want to help you, so from now on I will not be viewing that website anymore, and the other website Vicspage is also the same, I have emailed him a few times, but he keeps sending them back, he refuses to help, what is the point of having an email address if that's all they can say. What a sham! I will stay with the websites I like, for example this one Brophs is so cool! keep up the good work Broph! I have emailed Erin Murphy a few days ago, I got a reply off her, she will hopefully reply on Monday, I cannot wait! has anyone met that SEXY BILLY ASHER JR YET? what a man! Cor! Cor! I would tell him this if I ever had the chance to meet him! Eddie is fine and he is still cooling down from the other night, at the moment he has the hots for Rebecca, don't even start him on that subject thank you! and as for Liz, well what can I say, He has it so bad it is unbelievable! I must apologize to Robert Foxworth, I have been sort of criticising him for selling Liz's house, but I now realize he was a fantastic husband to Liz and he truly loved her, some studio should get their act together and make a nice movie on Liz's life, I think this would be terrific! And let's get her in the Hollywood Hall Of Fame, I agree she should been in there, it isn't fair it is long overdue. And someone should do a proper autobiography on Liz, I would definitely buy it. I want the A & E biography of Liz, but I can't get it over here in England, it isn't fair, and I can't get it off the web either because it is not compatible with English videos, I am so gutted, I need cheering up,I have the first two seasons of Bewitched to look forward to soon as Channel 4 will be showing them after they have finished the current run of the coloured Episodes. Eddie says keep on checking your groovy, oh, sorry I have done it again I mean check your gravy. Bye all, see you all in the Cosmos Cotillion again very soon, Broph you're the best, I just love this message board, I can get a lot of my chest it is wonderful.

Hi everybody! I think Jim Carrey would make an awful Darrin, because he is not at all funny, he clowns around too much! And as for Nicole Kidman playing Samantha forget it! she is totally unsuitable, for one thing she looks nothing like Liz, and second she isn't very good at doing caring roles, you need someone like Lisa Kudrow or even Rebecca Asher could do it, because I know she has the talent, and it would be great to see her follow in her mom's shoes. What do think? Rebecca would be perfect, anyone agree with me? Yes Eddie enjoyed his shower, he cooled down nicely. I will not be going to see any Bewitched movie, not unless they can put Liz in it somehow, for example computerised! Now that's an idea. I won't even bother to see any of the previews either, because to me there is only one Samantha, and that is Liz! Hollywood should forget about the movie and concentrate on doing Bewitched with Tabitha instead, they could easily do a movie with Erin Murphy as Tabs! or even do a prequel to Bewitched, for example let's see Samantha as a child, I think this would be great, anyone agree with me? Is Bill Asher's book out yet? does anyone know? it is about time it was! bye groovers see y'all soon.

Brophy: I am so sorry to read of your loss. We know your mother is a wonderful woman by your caring nature. You are part of her legacy. There is no better tribute for a mother than her children calling her blessed (Part of scripture) Your words are full of love and gentleness for her. You have been in prayer since the moment of your last post, as well as in the past. There is a prayer chain for the family here, many prayers have and will continue to go up. If there was a way to send cyber hugs, you would be overwhelmed by us.... consider yourself cyber-hugged until we can all deliver them ourselves.... There is no easy way to say this, but I did want to give an update on my situation. Last Wednesday, the day that I last posted, my mother passed away. I did not want to shut everyone out, but I did know that I wasn’t going to be on-line much for a couple of days. Right now, I’m going through a lot of emotions – there are no words to express what I’ve been going through the last few days. My mother was a wonderful, caring, terrific person who always put others before herself – she was there for anyone who needed her and my family wanted for nothing. It’s painful right now knowing that she is gone, though I do take comfort in the fact that she didn’t suffer – her own mother had been in the hospital for some time and that wasn’t what she wanted. If you are religious, please remember her in your prayers tonight. If you’re not religious – please take the time to be nice to someone in the next week or so – help someone who is having a promble, take a friend to lunch, give a kind word to someone, call someone you haven’t spoken to in some time. Our time here is precious – always remember that. Please forgive if I take some breaks from posting. I can never replace my mother, but in the coming weeks I will have a number of things I will have to take care of. There should be no immediate changes to the board – if I do need to change things in the future, I will try to give as much notice as possible. Thank you for your words of support over the last few days – it is nice to know that others care.

Let me add to the fanfare for the Harpies Bizarre Site...it was excellent (but could've used more Endora tee hee). AM quote for the day: "I get along well with directors. They know they can trust me, that I'm cooperative and they don't have to worry about me, and that I will follow their line of thinking so that our thoughts merge pretty well. If there is any problem, it can be ironed out very quickly without any fuss or fury. I think temperment is all right in it's right place, which is within the work. I don't think temperment should be outside the work because that is a form of weakness that will deteriorate you. It's usually false anyway! Everyone has a certain temperment, the feel of the way you attack things, and I think that can be put into your work, put to work in a channel that will do you some good."

Hi Everybody: Poor Big Dave, hope you got a potion to make you feel better. Thanks for your input on the movie, interesting how you saw the resemblance with Nicole Kidman too. I haven't seen The Witch I Married, I'll have to see if I can Zap it up. As for witch (which, sorry a Freudian slip) episode we are one, we have just seen Episode #12 where Louise finds out she is pregnant. An interesting thing to note in this episode is that when Darrin is daydreaming about having children and he imagines a load of little witches flying around the room, Sam tries to round them up to leave and when calling them she refers to one as Rebecca. This has probably been pointed out before, but I just found it interesting that that was her daughters name. I agree Christmas will be great in colour! Also went to Harpies, great sight! Be good, gotta fly!

Calling Dr. Bombay! Calling Dr. Bombay! Emergency! Come right away! Let me just tell you I think I have a severe case of perimeridictamitus or somebody has zapped up a Macedonian dodo in my house because this guy is tres SICK! Hopefully it will pass in time for my trek to Reno! Barbie: I agree with your 'casting' for a Bewitched movie. I said a long time ago that I thought Jim Carrey was the perfect Darrin and that Nicole Kidman looks an awful lot like Samantha. I even kept a picture of her from her Batman Forever days inside the cover of the People magazine that gave tribute to Liz when she died. The picture of EM on the cover and the picture I have of NK look quite similar. But I would rather not have a BW movie unless they used the original actors via CGI. And it would have to be so good that a person not familiar w/ the original cast would not realize that they the actors they were watching were actually computer generated...My dad just bought 'Bell, Book, and Candle' on DVD. It's a good movie. Kim Novack plays her part a little too lusty though. Q of the H is right about 'I Married a Witch' being more similar to BW although I thought that the witch in that movie acted more like Jeannie...Canadians: What episode is Prime on now? I was thinking that it would be really cool to see the Christmas episode in color because, frankly, Christmas time is always full of color. I was also wondering if Prime is going to show the re-cut versions of that episode and when Samantha meets Mr. and Mrs. Stephens...Well, Nurse Often just popped in so I'm going to have to see what's keeping the good doctor...and maybe have a private...session...with her...Excuse me...

Barbie: Yes, Sol Saks (creator of Bewitched) has said that B,B, and C had an influence on our favorite show. But the 1942 movie "I Married a Witch" with Fredric March and Veronica Lake is much more similar. That is a really great old movie and it is readily available on video today. BTW: In the E! True Hollywood Story, Saks said that they were afraid of being sued over the similarities to these 2 movies and the Bewitched premise, but Columbia owned both movies, as well as Screen Gems. Lucky us :^) Also, thanks for the rave review of our website, Osgood!

Oops! Hit the wrong button! Anyway, has anyone ever seen Bell, Book and Candle starring Kim Novak, James Stewart and Jack Lemmon. It was about a witch that fell for a human and got feelings witches shouldn't get and she turned human. I often wondered if the Bewitched gang got any of their ideas from this movie. Alot of oldies have been made into movies and I just thought someone might try and follow suit especially since the 8th season just ENDED!~ I thought Jim Carrey would make a great Darrin and Nicole Kidman could maybe pass for Samantha! Just a thought! Any comments would be interesting. Also wondered if anybody ever saw the 1958 Classic film

Hi everybody! I have just swooped in from the Cosmos again to tell you I have just watched Liz Montgomery in Black Widow Murders, it was fantastic, there's a scene in the restaurant where she's eating an ice cream, and the way she licks it off her spoon gets my motor running, she's a little tease! Cor! what a woman, I can just imagine what's going through her mind, if you know what I mean, she never lost her sex appeal. And the black nightie well what can I say about that when she bends over you can almost see down it Cor! Cor! and when the priest puts his hand up her skirt in the car it's like Wow! that actor who got to do that scene is a LUCKY DEVIL! these men who get to act with her are so JAMMY, I wish I knew her, I would of loved to have met her, oh, well, there's always my dreams, and yes folks I still dream of her. And those legs of Liz's are so FANTASTIC! what I'd give to touch them! Cor! Cor! Cor! I think I will go now and cool myself off now with cold water. Does anyone know if I Dream of Jeannie's first season has been colourised like Bewitched? so long y'all!

I KNOW! I KNOW! ,when N@N showed two episodes from the first & second seasons on fri. they were the old b/w ones from the program exchage, but don't give up hope as i would think n@n would want to save the columbia tri-star colorized ones so that they could show them all continuously so that they could do a big promotion out of it,so there is still hope that on aug.24 when they get to season 1 that they might use the colorized ones, big dave i checked tv-now & according to them n@n will show 21 of 26 episodes from the 8th season not just a few but it's ok as aug.24 is not far away(thier only going to skip 5 european vacation episodes).the EM MOVIE FACE TO FACE will be on vision-odyssey on cable & satellite F3 transponder 5 ,on sun aug.6 @9:00pm est.,wed aug.9 @ 9:00pm est.& thur. aug.10 @ 2:00pm est., this is a cable channel kind of like pax-tv & is free on the satellite.i was shocked & dismayed that n@n did not include BILL ASHER in thier salute to the creators of tv theme on sun.,how they could make such an oversite is inexcusable(unless of course he was asked & declined)as he was the driving force on bewitched & the primary creator of bewitched as we know it today, perhaps ENDORA,EDWINA & MYSELF should punish the individual responsible by zaping him or her so that the appropriate body part would shrink or even fall off so that such transgressions will never be repeated again.in the colorized versions my hair is shown to be a dark grayish silver which i resent as i feel i have earned every white hair in my cotton top look as louise can attest what with clients & all so i much prefer my white hair in seasons 3 thru 8.ENDORA i am sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well ,perhaps a nice long hot Ahhm shower will do you some good especially with some lavender for company & put you back into the pink again Ahmm!!!.i loved your AM quote re: not trying to send a message but simply entertaining instead as i could not agree with AM more as thier is nothing more maddening then someone useing thier show as a propaganda platform to preach us into following thier perspective.take care all..

hi groovers! Has anyone read the article on Dick York? He said that Liz was sex all over! We have just checked out those colourised photos of the B/W episodes of Bewitched. They look neat in colour,I thought the colourised episodes would look sort of grey, but I am pleasantly surprised. run out of things to say, so I will go and fly to the moon now , see ya all soon.

WOW! The day after I finished Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (INCREDIBLE book, don't think I've read anything better), all my summer music programs started up! I have been SO busy that I've been leaving the house at 8am, coming home at 11pm, falling asleep at 11:01pm, and waking up at 7:59am! I have been SOOOOOOOOOOO exgausted and SOOOOOO busy lately, it's not even funny. And for the 2nd to last week in August I'm gonna be in the Poconos, rehearsing 12 hours a day for the marching band, and for the last week of August I'll be at the school every day from 7:30am-5:30pm practicing for the marching band, without a single break! **Therefore**, I don't have time to read all the posts that I've missed, as much as I hate that fact, and I'm probably not going to have time to be back on here for a while. I'll try to keep in touch, but I'm not promising anything. Oh, BTW Broph, thank you so much for putting me on the mailing list for the Bewitched Newsletter...it's incredibly groovy! Thank you! Peace Out! **crosses her fingers, wiggles them, and disappears** -Tabatha

SCH: Thanks for getting rid of the pest. I wasn't even going to waste my powers on him. michelle: Here's a link to screen captures of the first episode that Vic put on his Bewitched page. http://members.tripod.com/~bewitchvic/prime.html I think the colorization is great looking by what I've seen on there! Alexandra: Maybe you try looking on Vic's Bewitched page. I'm not sure if he has that article but he does have a plethora of articles to look through. Everybody: Tonight is Bewitched's nite on the Block Party Summer on N@N. Too bad it's only ONE night! I was also looking at the upcoming BW schedule on tv-now.com and it looks like they are just showing a couple episodes from the 8th season and going right on into the first season. Yippee! Now hopefully they found out about the colorized episodes and will show them...yeah, right! I've also been seeing that TV Land is having a Sunday Showcase ("See Lost TV gems!") and that they air shows that only lasted, some just a few episodes. So hopefully that'll mean they will show 'Tabitha'. I know it probably wasn't that great of a show, I've never seen it, but I would like to make my own conclusions. I mean if they can show 'Flo', the short lived spin off of 'Alice' well then...

Hi! to all the guys and gals in the Cosmos, we have swooped in again, but this time from cloud 9, does anyone know what the first two seasons of Bewitched looks like now that they have been colourised? Does the mouths look a bit grey or anything? I have seen a few B/W films that have been colourised and their lips are sort of grey, so I was wondering if this has happened in Bewitched? Is it true that Gig Young could not get Liz pregnant, because he had a vascetomy? I am puzzled because when he married his next wife (Name I do not wish to mention) he gave her a daughter called Jennifer, this I thought is strange for a man who supposed to have had a vascetomy, he couldn't get the operation reversed when he was married to Liz, so is Jennifer his or not? Does anyone know? I read last night that Liz's marriage to the lovely and fit Bill Asher was on the rocks in 1971, this isn't true as they didn't split until 1973, I don't know where these people get their information from, people assume just because she stopped wearing her necklace that her marriage was on the rocks, why don't people check their facts before printing stuff in the papers etc. By the way we love the message boards, keep on writing, as We think it is cool! or as Serena would say "It's a groove" don't worry we keep up! Eddie is still dreaming he had a normal dream, last night, this time concerning Rebecca, he took her out in a pram, he reckoned she was about 1 year old, he was transported to the park at the Bewitched studio, where the fountain was. Well we had better sign off now as I need to check my groovy, oh, sorry I mean my gravy! We will fly in again tomorrow, when we get back from our Cosmos Cotillion, so long y'all.

Oh my goodness, much has been going on the last few days! Welcome Barbie, Eddie, Michelle, and Queen of the Harpies! Always nice to have new faces on board and Queen, I will check out your site right away, I promise, but I can already tell you it's going to need more Endora....Broph: Take care of yourself, we love and miss you! Everyone: I agree EM was a totally magnificent woman, but AM is, was, and always will be the "goddess" of BW as far as I'm concerned...Sigh....AM Quote for the day: "Naturally people remember my witch character because they see it all the time, but I never have tried to establish an image. I don't want an image of any one type character or personality. When people say to me, "Oh we just love you as the witch!" I say "Yes, on Thursday nights." The witch is a character I have built up and expanded and enjoyed playing. It's fun playing with Elizabeth and we are very fond of each other. The character I play brings order out of chaos. I don't know anybody who hasn't said at some time "Oh, I wish I didn't have to sweep the floor. I wish I didn't have to clean this or that. I wish I could snap my fingers and everything would be done!"

BROPH: Okay bud, come back asap! Thank you again for this wonderful site! LARRY TATE: Wow, and that's great about the email address for PRIME. I thank you muchly. HEY new and GROOVIN' BEWITCHED people: Welcome and 'hello'. This site 'rocks'!...and yet another Canuck...'Kool' that you are here. Oh my gosh, I can't remember who mentioned that Robert Jr. was in E.T. but I am 99% sure that he was not. Willie and Rebecca were there but not the youngest son. Somebody please correct me if I am wrong here. I think he was the shy one and loved his Momma and wanted to grieve in private. The others did as well 'majorly', but Robert always did strike me as being private and very like his Mom. Come to think of it, I think EM & BA did a wonderful and tremendous job in raising 3 remarkable and loving children. Smart too!

greetings from the great wet north,SAM R,BIG DAVE,ENDORA & all PRIME TV'S e-mail address is askprime@primetv.ca ,correction it's the program exchange not the program source that had the syndication rights to the b/w episodes.when they colorize episodes do the computers automaticaly convert the b/w tones & pixcels to color as it was with total accuracy or is it the operators interpretation combined with info from those who made it in the first place along with production notes that give only a rough idea the way it actualy was back then.michelle, bill rebbecca & robert were all in a&e's bio of liz which i would think you can get from amazon.com or from a&e itself, try www.biography.com.i agree with breen in that kasey is probably just busy.EM story from zap!zap! long live samantha regional tv guide:like ordinary women miss montgomery can feel pain."you've got to learn to take it," she says, "but it can be pretty devastating.i can get my feelings hurt very easily,a bad review or an unfair criticism when you know you tried your best-that still bothers me.luckily i don't have the biggest ego in the world ,that was pounded out of me at an early age,for which i am grateful, tho it wasn't always pleasant at the time i was getting pounded."

Hi there! I have just swooped in from the Cosmos Cotillion, where Serena is causing a stir as usual, does anyone know when the A & E biography of Elizabeth Montgomery is coming out in England? and if anyone has seen it can you tell me if Liz's son Robert was in it? and was Bill Asher in it? Has anyone met Liz's daughter Rebecca? and if so, what is she like? I have photos of her and her mom plastered on the wall, I have also loads and loads of photos of Liz on my living room walls. I also have a few photos of her sons Billy and Robert, I have the hots for Billy, he is the sexiest man alive! He looks just like Liz! I also like Bill Asher, I admit I prefer him to Robert Foxworth, I am not keen on him at all, give me Bill anyday! If I ever had a chance to tell Bill this I would! Eddie my husband, as the hots for Rebecca, he fancied her from the minute he saw her photo, he thinks she is gorgeous and so much like her mom, sex on legs. Americans are so lucky, because they get re - runs of Bewitched all the time, over here in England, we only get the coloured ones, which is a shame! Channel 4 are forever skipping out scenes and episodes whenever they choose, and wait for this, they have banned the episodes Sisters At Heart, Mary The Good Fairy, The Good Fairy Strikes Again and No Zip In My Zap, because they are supposed to be racist and have alcohol in them, can you believe this, Channel 4 don't watch the episodes properly do they? Otherwise they would get the real meanings of these episodes. I wish I could emigrate to the U.S.A. England isn't being fair to a classic like Bewitched. See you guys and gals in the Cosmos in a few days, for now keep flying them brooms from Eddie and Michelle.

Michelle, I know nothing about Herbie Pilator, but can I suggest it might be worth while 'chilling out' a little as regards Kasey Rogers? I have e-mailed her friend Mark (they use a joint e-mail) in the past, and I always found the replies not only courteous, but also very friendly. Please remember that everyone, not just famous people, can get busy and not reply to their e-mails for some time. Also, people who have a lot of e-mails to process, sometimes do make mistakes and simply forget to reply. Perhaps you could wait a few weeks, then send the e-mail again, with a friendly reminder, to see if they respond?

hi there! we was watching bewitched tonight, and we noticed in a few episodes that a little girl in the soundtrack said 'mommy' it was in the following episodes, Samantha On Thin Ice, Serena's Youth Pill and George Washington Zapped Here Part One, take a look and listen very carefully, and you will hear her,it was Liz's daughter Rebecca. in George Washington Zapped Here, look at Liz when you hear the voice of Rebecca, Liz is thrown for a few seconds, she heard her, and looked startled. Do not bother to email Herbie Pilato as he as an attitude problem and he's arrogant, i emailed him a few weeks ago, and he replied and told me not to bother him, why does he bother having an email address if he doesn't want people to write to him. I bought his book Bewitched Forever, and there are a few mistakes in it, he can't even get that right, it is a wonder he has got as far as he has, with an attitude like that. And as for Kasey Rogers, don't even go there, she is totally ignorant, we emailed her too, and got no reply! see ya all soon from Michelle.

hiya, it's us again, we would like to know if England will be getting the first two seasons of bewitched? we only seem to get the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th,7th and the 8th seasons over here, it would be nice to see bewitched from episode one.if anyone knows please let us know.I am very surprised that columbia is colouring in the b/w episodes, what a shame. don't forget if anyone knows of Billy's, Robert's and rebecca's whereabouts please let me know. if anyone has Bill Ashers email address also let me know. i want to say also that I am very disappointed in Robert Foxworth, selling Liz's house like that, I can understand him marrying again, but selling the house is a bit too bad. see ya all in a few days.

SAM R your welcome for the info re prime,i have some good news for our fellow bewitched lovers in the great green south,i spoke with samantha(no joke) from prime & was told that the colorization was done not by them but by dynacs digital studios & not for them but for colunbia tri-star who decided to digitaly upgrade & remaster the b/w episodes because they felt the quality of them was low & decided to colorize them @ the same time for marketing reasons as stations don't like to buy b/w episodes, & prime just happened to order them @ this time just after they had been colorized & as a matter of fact prime would have prefered that they stay b/w for classic tv reasons but had no choice but to take them colorized.the point is that there is no exclusivity to prime or canada with the logical conclusion being that colunmia tri-star will be destributing it elseware as well such as N@N which is about 2/3 of the way into the 7th season so soon they will be in season 1 near the end of aug so you may not have long to wait(anyone with n@n's e-mail address could e-mail them & ask if this is coming up),unless they are still contracted to show the old b/w episodes from program source the former distibutors of bewitched before the rights reverted back to tri-star.& remember that when beitched first was on n@n it was shown in it's entirety as was i love lucy until recently & was once again this summer on lucy sundays ,as well tvland used to show burkes law in it's entirety as the do now with the honeymooners so it's possible that n@n will show seasons 1 & 2 in thier entirety as well as in color.by the way johnny cool will be on TCM(turner classic movies) on aug.27 from 5:00am pst to 7:00am pst on satellite W3 transponder 14 & on cable.mrs.sundance will be on the fox movie channel aug.8th @ 5:00pm pst & on aug.19 @ 7:00am pst & 9:00pm pst on satellite W3 transponder 18 as well as cable.this could either be the tv movie version 76 min or the motion picture release which was 88 min. 30 sec. with additional footage.more good news bewitched is coming back to the screen gems network next mon on cable with wild feeds on satellite T6 transponder 7 starting on wed night @ 10:30 pm pst,ENDORA where are you we miss you..sorry for the long post but i thought this was valuable info.GOTTA GO as SERENA beckons once again,OH WELL!! BIG DAVE! what can i say except "Ooops i did it again" & yes i sing better then then britney spears (of course so does my cat seermouche),what i meant to say as serena distracted me on cloud 8 by skinny dipping right in front of me as i was posting was that in the kitchen above & to the right of the stove was blue tile with white brick in front of the tile ,as well i wrote to herbie p about liz's bio as well about 3 weeks ago & got no reply & tried kasey rodgers with the same result ,i also asked them both about bill ashers bio to,by the way it would be great if bewitched came out on dvd as we would get the best possible picture as well as sound & bloopers, outakes with liz saying OH! #@$% when she missed a line as well as scenes or takes that they didn't use for some reason,or footage of them standing around chatting or exchanging ideas between scenes plus interviews they did @ that time,VIC & BIG DAVE while i agree the red suit would have been great looking i don't think it would have fit as well or looked as witchy especially in the dark night in that scene as it would have stood out rather then blending in & giving a spooky look.BARBIE welcome to the board & feel free to post to your hearts content.TITUBA her fying suit was black in seasons 3 & 4(although in the xmas episode in season 4 it was black with lots of silvery designs on it) but changed to light green in #5 & thereafter such as when sam was seeing juke the warlock who endora had promised her to.EDDIE ,DITTO big time re: LIZ being the most sexy gorgeous & desirable woman of all time (along with AM of course as warts all over my face don't do a thing for me),with my daydreams of her outdoing your dreams ,deep sigh!!,i can't go into detail as a gentlemen doesn't discuss such things,oh well! i won't discuss them anyway.

I'm back! You certainly make a girl welcome. And Big Dave, I did give the Ken the shove, he just wasn't man enough for me (sorryl, couldn't resist that one). Today's show was the one with June Lockhart with a major hairpiece on and Marshall (the Beaver's little brother). I couldn't believe how much he was like his brother, talk about a clone! Also, funny to note, when I was a kid I thought Mrs. Kravitts was WAY OLDER, guess what, she doesn't look nearly as old as I imagined her! Wait, could it be that I'm a little older... Anyway, it was a great show, lots of smooching!
