'tis better segregated, methinks:-) It only had an Earl aftertaste and when we're talking about Earl we need that full bodied taste... who's snickering? Earl ice cream - now that's just silly... lemon, that's different...Do you think we can out-post the "others"?

Well, it looks like the spammers are back:( Spammers, spammers go away and do NOT come back another day!....aside from that I wanted to mention that all Canadians should be glued to their TV's tonight watching "FANatical" on TVtropolis (formerly Prime). FANatical is a documentary series that follows fans of TV shows through the lives and at various functions devoted to their respective TV show. Tonight's episode is devoted to BW and will feature the Bewitched Collector (www.thebewitchedcollector.com) and Gina Meyers, author of "The Magic of BW Trivia and More!". The show also filmed at the BW convention in Salem this past summer...I have seen the Batman themed episode and it was pretty darn good and having met both the BW Collector and Gina Meyers and having attended the convention I'm sure tonight's episode will be pure magic!

Hi Guys & Girls, I'd like to unclutter the house. So I'm offering my collection of all the Bewitched episodes on VHS to anyone who wants them. These are all the episodes in order on VHS tapes in custom color video boxes. There are extras hidden on most of the tapes. Like sponsor openings & cast commercials. I have since upgraded to DVD, so I have no need to take up space with the videos. Email me with a price, all I really need is anything above $60 to ship them. The best offer gets the entire batch. The blank tapes and color photo covers alone are worth it. If anyone wants true complete MASTERS of all the Bewitched episodes, email me. Not copies some people call masters. I also have the masters to all of Liz's TV movies and appearances available on DVD-R. http://members.tripod.com/bewitchvic/videos.html..Looking forward to helping your Bewitched collection.Vic

Samantha, I don't know the answer but it seems unlikely they are related. According to the IMDB Lexa Doig was, I quote, "... born on June 8th, 1973, to Filipina mother Gloria and English-Scottish father David.", whereas Greta Chi was "... the daughter of a Chinese diplomat and a Danish woman..." Of course they still might be related but it's more likely the resemblence is just coincidence?

Glory on Morning Glory Circle! Darrin (Santa) and Tabitha bought me the Bewitched second season DVD for Christmas. I love it! Love it! Love it! Samantha never looked better and her powers continue to bedazzle while expressing values which are as perennial as the most beautiful rose. Twitching my nose. Twitching my nose. Twitching my nose. Mother I know this ain't no prose. More Bewitched season DVD's on the horizon I see and that my good friends is right on the nose. Just another question before I have a great weekend too. I just finished watching the episode entitled "Ling Ling". The actress Greta Chi who played Ling Ling looks a lot like the actress who plays in the TV series Andromeda I believe her name is Lexa Diong. The resemblance is remarkable! Does anyone know if Chi and Diong are related in some way? If you know the answer please feel free to email me. Thank you.

Happy Happy Happy me! Yesterday the mail man delivered the Bewitched DVD (first Season) to my home. The quality is above the stars and I'm enjoying the DVD so much. I especially love the fact that it's commercial free and therefore that allows for a more fuller appreciate of the script. ie. Endora and Samantha chitchatting about baseball while Samantha's getting her ham (replete with pineapple) ready to put in the oven. Love it! Mother's perspectives are so out of the box! LOL!Here's a suggestion for Larry Tate. Next time you include a "surprise" bonus with every DVD purchase please consider having the bonus (movie ticket) apply to DVD purchases as well. Ok include the new Bewitched movie even though they gave mom and dad such a "cameo type" role. LOL!scene one. I'll scratch your back if you scratch mine. or Witch or wife episode 8. Does anyone have any further information on the Vasari book (appears to have a black cover) which can be seen during the scene inwhich Darrin informs (on the phone)Samantha that he can't take her out to dinner because Larry's just loaded him down with extra work. Is the title of that book Visari's Florence or Visari's Influence? Scratching your back. The painting over the fire place in the Stephen's livingroom is by Pablo Picasso called The Old Man With Guitar. At first glance I thought the painting was a renaissance painting by Raphael or Visari himself however when I researched the painting further it proved to be a work by Picasso. It's Friday afternoon and mother insists that I take the afternoon off. So I bid you all a very good weekend and Yes Yes Yes I love, love, love the Bewitched DVD season One.Tabitha: Mother I wanted to buy you that DVD for Christmas! Oh poopy, poopy, poopy pooh. Samantha: I know sweetheart but you can still buy me the second season and if we twitch our noses (gnoes) all together they're sure to make every episode available. Mother: No sooner said than DONE Samantha.

Darrin and Samantha lived at 1164 Morning Glory Circle, in Westport, Connecticut. Darrin drove, and sometimes took the train, to his job at McMann & Tate Advertising in Manhattan. Quaker: Larry Tate was the president of McMann & Tate Advertising. He was lived with his wife Louise and their son Jonathan. Larry first went to the dentist, with his father, at the age of 37, and he broke his leg while on his honeymoon. Ever since he was a little boy, he's dreamed of ruling the world. He was played by David White, who previously worked with Elizabeth Montgomery on the episode "The Rusty Heller Story" from "The Untouchables" in 1960. David White died in November 1990 at the age of 74.

While I was vacationing in Yorkville (Toronto)I finally got a chance to see the new Bewitched movie with Isabelle Bigelow. (Ms. Kidman) Isabelle can fly almost as well I can (LOL) and I would have loved to have seen Endora fly as well. And not on a "limb". LOL! I liked the movie. And I'll most likely be buying more "green giant" veggies too; even if Cain is the name of the giant. I'll zap an "able" on that "Cain". LOL! A play in a play in a play as it were. And as far as I'm concerned if the new movie is good enough for the Hyatt Regency then it's good enough for me too. That was a little "ear" tweak (fingers pulling ear lobe) to go along with your nose (gnoes) twitchs everyone. I just love the magic mother. Thank you.

Hi everyone. Here's a twitch without a glitch. Has anyone thought about making an animation version of the original tv series? Animators have the technology and can easily reproduce the original likeness of Samantha and Darrin within a "lifelike" format. This way those of us who love the original series can enjoy Samantha's immortality with fresh episodes. I believe there is a market or niche for such a series. (just type Bewitched onto any search engine and see how many Bewitched sites come up.) I believe television can create an "animation channel" which could showcase animation productions. And most of all I believe such a venue could immortalize many of the other classic series which viewers still love to watch. ie. Dick Van Dyke Show, Andy of Mayberry, I Dream of Jeanie etc. Mother Endora: Samantha that's splendid! Just think of the countless number of jobs that would create for humans. And it would keep those little "bleep, bleep, bleep" so busy.

Hello to anyone reading this. I just purchased season one on DVD and I was noticing the painting above the fireplace....a man lying down with a guitar in his hands. Does anyone have a clue as to the name and artist of THAT painting? I"ve gotten many hits on "Girl With A Broom" painting in the hallway but what about the "guy wiht guitar" painting? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Nick

Dick York was the first Darrin for the first 5 seasons & was excellent, when he had to leave the show due to medical reasons because of his back Dick Sargent took over for seasons 6 to 8 & did a great job, was a super Darrin & gave us 3 wonderful seasons of the show.Sadly both of them have passed on in 1992 for Dick York & 1994 for Dick Sargent respectivly.Larry Tate :)check out my site at http://larrytate5.tripod.com

Twitch Twitch Twitch Let the witch Twitch Twitch Twitch with the BLEST. Twitch from the north. Twitch from the south. Twitch from the east and even the west. It's the TRUE witch which knows which's witch is best.Oh my above the stars! I haven't seen the new movie Bewitched yet because I've been vacationing on top of mount Shangrila with mother and father. Heavenly place that Shangrila. So some of you love Ephron's work. Well Serena says the film "You Got Mail" is a juxtaposition of that classic Bell Book and Candle. And I agree with her. And wouldn't you know it now that mother Endora's seen the new Bewitched film she's livid. The new Bewitched movie is a juxtaposition of a juxtaposition of a juxtaposition. Which means "oh my ABOVE the stars" and "heavenly Shangrila" (the home of the Secret Place of the Most High) Elizabeth Montgomery was a bonafide witch too! Glory don't you just love those juxtapositions. And now Serena tells me they're going to rework and remake the tv series Bewitched as well. Sweet Juxtapositions don't tell me all actresses are witches! Heavenly Shangrila with all the juxtapositions happening pretty soon you won't be able to tell the actresses from the witches, the mortals from the actresses and the witches from the whichs. And "Heavenly Shangrila", "Gold Hearts" and "Cream Pearls" no wonder Jim Carrey didn't want to play the part of Darrin. No respectful warlock would ever dream of playing a "mortal". And especially not one that's hanging onto a witches broom for dear life. Serena and I both agree that in the next "trailer" you might want to include a segment of Samantha Stephens flying faster, higher and beating the fastest train (paint it gold) on any track. And instead of Darrin hanging onto Samantha's broom just have him hanging onto the back of the train as it's whizzing by. Isn't that what most mortals do? As in the 9 to 5 thing? Heavenly Shangrila I've twitched a witch of a twitch from the north, south, east and west. Hope it leaves you blest!

Hi Kat, I hope you're well and I owe you a postcard. To everyone else, I finally saw the Bewitched movie tonight. I enjoyed it a lot. (But then I love all of Nora Ephron's movies anyway.) I won't give away any spoilers but Bewitched fans should know before going to the movie that it's not a Bewitched remake, it's a movie based on Bewitched. I thought everyone in the movie did a great job. I recommend it.

Sorry to hear that Harriet. I'm afraid the majority hasn't liked this movie very much. -Since this is the case I doubt any studio would entertain the idea of another Bewitched big-screen venture anytime soon, even if it was a better script. But maybe a tv-movie? Just 'witchful' thinking on my part I suppose. -Episode question: What was the early ep. when Darrin gave Sam roses and a watch inscribed 'I love you every second.' Was this their first wedding anniversary?

Opinions about the Bewitched movie? I've read some viewers comments on the IMBD (Internet Movie Database) board. Most say it didn't meet their expectations. -Of course hindsight's always better, I think Jenna Elfman should've played Samantha & Brendan Fraiser or Jim Carrey as Darrin. -I read Jim Carrey refused the role when he read that the story was about other characters. He might've taken the role if the script had been more like the series.

Does anyone remember the episode in maybe the 4th Series, it has "Wishes" as part of its Title. Anyways, Endora puts a spell on Darrin causing a rain cloud to follow him everywhere he goes. I'd love to be able to see it somehow again. I remember my Mom laughing sooooo hard, she peed her pants, she just couldn't stop laughing, the harder she tried, the harder she laughed. I saw the old Bewitched on TV the other day. I never see that episode aired. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, give me a buzz.

I thought it would be Endora too who has been in every episode. And what is this pilot about Sam & Endora living under a hedge in a park? All I remember is Sam telling Darrin she was a witch on their wedding night. -Has anyone seen the movie yet? I'm still skittish to see it myself before feedback. Thanks.

Hi Everyone! I had a great time in LA meeting some of you and watching the opening of the movie. Is there another Kat posting on this board besides myself? I have been on here since it was Alex's board. If I have to I will change the spelling of my name to Katt if I need to so that there will be no confusion. Please someone email me and let me know. Endora perhaps? hi Broph thought of you this past weekend.

Kat, indeed it was only Samantha who appeared in every episode of Bewitched while no other character did, not even Darrin as there were 14 Darrinless episodes.Larry Tate :)

However the last movie I did see was revenge of the sith(hated it)and I do like lighter comdic movies so I will definatly go see this one :).(sorry my spellings not so hot right now lol)

Who was the only character to play in all the episodes of Bewitched-- Samantha, Darrin, Larry or Endora? I know Samantha sounds obvious, but I'm not sure.

***MOVIE SPOILER ALERT-Has anyone else seen Comedy Central's special about the new Bewitched movie? It's not actually about Darrin & Samantha. It's about a narcissistic actor (Wil Ferrel) trying to revive the old Bewitched series & a witch named Isabelle wanting to be mortal. I'll have to see it to make a final conclusion, but so far I don't like the sound of it. Other opinions?

I was wondering if any of you have read Dick York's fantastic autobiography "The Seesaw Girl and Me". It is, in my opinion, a wonderfully revealing book by one of the most talented and humane people ever to grace television. It is a roller-coaster ride as you will be laughing one moment while crying the next. There are wonderful "show business" stories to be told, but most of all it's a story of a man lost his career, lost his fame, lost his money, lost his health--but didn't lose the most important thing in the world--the seesaw girl, his loving wife Joey. This book is above all, like "Bewitched" a great love story. It can be ordered at www.newpathpress.com

It was a disappointment.I am definately seeing the movie no matter what. Will Farrell will do just fine for the part of Darrin. He definately has the same kind of look as Dick Sargent.I thought there will be a T.V bio pic about Bewitched. I just saw one the other night on Mork and Mindy. ( I also a hugh Robin Williams fan.) Yea i agree with you blonde witch, nicole kidman doesn't even have blonde hair she died it blinde she really has red hair. I think they have similiar eyes but thats it there facial structure and some other things look totally differnt. I don't know who looks closer to her really. Liz has her own defining features and i don't know who looks even closer. When will Liz montgomery being getting hollywood walk of fame? is late june or around there.

In honor of the publication of author Charles Tranberg's Agnes Moorehead biography (yay - finally!!!) on April 30th of this year, a celebration of Agnes Moorehead's (aka The Goddess) inspirational life and work is being held in Madison, Wisconsin during the weekend of April 29th - May 1st. Included in the festivities will be a trip to the Wisconsin Historical Society Archives, which include over 150 scrapbooks (including several dealing with the Bewitched years), radio, film, and television scripts and a variety of other interesting memoribilia from the Goddess's life. Also included is a trip to Reedsburg to see the church the Goddess grew up in, as well as the pulpit her father preached from. Best of all, on Saturday, April 30th, author Charles Tranberg will be doing a book signing and question and answer session at a local (TBD) restaurant. Anyone interested in attending or requiring further details should contact me at Endora@moorehead.com. For those wishing to make reservations, the Best Western Inn on the Park in Madison, WI is recommended. Madison has a local airport, and attendees can also fly into Milwaukee or Chicago and drive, (Milwaukee is an hour and a half drive from Madison, Chicago 2 hours). Hope to see everyone there!!!

Extending a "Pave" Happy Valentine's Day to everyone here. And there too. LOL! Mother! You were wrong. Darren gave me a dozen roses, FINE chocolates and a romantic dinner! We're as happy as two peas in a pod. Mother: Two peas in a pod! Really Samantha it should be two pearls in an ocean. Two diamonds in a crown. Two Pouilly Fuisse in a Chateau. Samantha: Well mother. I am a pearl, a diamond and Pouilly Fuisse! And being married to Darrin makes me feel that way everyday! Mother: Pearls, Diamonds, Poully Fuisse, multiply yourselves and be everywhere today!

Bewitched is my favorite show. I am dissapointed that studio heads chose Will Farrell over Jim Carrey for the part of Darrin Stephens. When will the show come to dvd?

Yoohoo! Yoohoo! Yoohoo! Mind if I pop in? I've got the twitch. I've got the zap. I've got the snap. I even have the hair, house, heart and Darrin. But I don't have enough Bewitched episodes airing on television. Any suggestions? How would I go about "picketing" in protest for more Bewitched episodes. Got to have 'em. Must have 'em. Will have 'em. I want more Bewitched episodes on television. And if I don't get more Bewitched episodes airing on television I'll call mother and I'll call Serena and Uncle Arthur as well. And when we get thru twitching, zapping and snapping "Curb Your Enthusiam" will look like a teddy bear's picnic compared to the mysterium that will hit television stations everywhere! Samantha: Mother! Mother! Mother! Please Mother pop in now!Mother Endora: Oh Samantha skip the melodramatics. It doesn't suit you.Samantha: You think? Mother Endora: Definitely. Try a little Saffron instead. Samantha: Saffron! Why mother I think you have the name of a new television sitcom. Saffron.Mother Endora: Splendid. Saffron and rice it is!Samantha: Saffron! Ok movers and shakers you can use that idea if you want (Saffron) as long as you create a television channel that airs Bewitched non stop. Mother Endora: Samantha you're expressing excellent witch's form. Welcome Saffron the television channel that airs emmy award winning classic sitcoms non-stop.Samantha: Mother it's all in a good day's twitch.Epilogue. Thanks posters for sharing your love of Bewitched with those of us who have such big hearts!

I am writing a picture book story book that has a witch in it that I want to have some of the characteristics, spells, etc. of Sam's Aunt Julia. I'd like to view some of the episodes with her in it. I'm particularly interested in the incantations she spoke or tried to speak!

Oh my Stars! Above the stars! Love it! Love it! Love it! Your site has lots of info for "witch" I'm eternally grateful. Guess what I got for Christmas this year? Darrin bought me a copy of the "heart"! Well! Close enough. Being that I'm a bonafide witch and all I thought you might be interested in the esoteric meaning behind Rembrandt's Girl With A Broom. Witches believe that sweeping will keep the baddies away so thusly Rembrandt's painting located right near the entrance to the house is supposed to keep the baddies away as well. Ask Dr. Bombay if it works? LOL! With respect to accessories I especially love the archangel blowing a trumpet that they have hanging right at the top of the stairs. Have a couple of those too and now I'm working on obtaining some of the rings that Samantha Stephens sported while the show was airing. Regardless thank you and I suppose if one is wise enough to juxtapose themselves against an archtype Samantha Stephens is one of the best archtypes to use. Now I have to go. I'm zapping and twitching myself onto the top of Mount Forever Good witch is at least 9000 ft. higher than Mount Everest. Nothing like a good nose twitch to start the day off right eh fellow immortals!

I just had to have a laugh at myself since in my last posting I said I saw Will Farrell as Darrin falling from the sky. No, in fact, he was hanging from a broom. Oh well. I saw a bit of the Bewitched movie teaser on t.v.Is anyone watching "The Insider"? every night to promote the movie, they do a story about an original Bewitched cast member. I saw story about Elizabeth Montgomery saying she has panic attacks, another about the unfortunate fate of Dick York, and tommorrow they will do a show on Dick Sargent.

I went to a movie this afternoon and they showed a brief preview for the upcoming Bewitched movie. It was Nicole Kidman flying on her broom and Will Ferrell hanging from the broomstick. Very brief - quite a teaser. Also, if you don't mind a question: what did a couple of you have to do to get to read the script? :)

Christa, I'm going from memory, but I believe the first two seasons of Bewitched were filmed in black and white. There was nothing unusual in this, because at the time it was filmed, lots of TV programs were in b/w. However by the third season, they decided to change to the more modern form of shooting it in 'color'. ... In the last few years, some people have gone back to the first two seasons and 'added color', so there are now color versions of those programs.

Diane, re the necklace, go to here http://www.breen.connectfree.co.uk/bewlinks.html and choose the link at the left "What Questions are Asked most Often", then choose question number 1, and you'll see a link to a great site that has information about the necklace. ... People have asked before where they could buy exact copies of the necklace, and I think one suggestion was to get pictures of the necklace, and then get someone to actually make a similar copy. I hope this helps and you find more information in those sites.

Dashton: I was thinking more of Jack from "Will & Grace" as Uncle Arthur...at first I wasn't keen on the spin of this movie but the more I read it (I have read the script) the more I like it....thatgirl57: The episode you are thinking of is titled "Snob in the Grass" from the fourth season. I believe it's episode #124. That episode even has a flashback to the first episode when Samantha remembers when Sheila embarassed her the first time. Charlene: I always wanted Betty White as Aunt Clara and even more so since I saw her at the Creative Emmy Awards. But Joan Plowright will do nicely....as for Dr. Bombay I had my hopes the original would be cast but it doesn't seem that way...Robin Williams might be a good choice but I think the guy who played Harold Zidler in "Moulin Rouge" is a good match for the character too:)

The entire casting and plot of the upcoming film, as far as I have read thus far, is not what i think the "TRUE" bewitched fan was hoping to see. I think all of us wish the general concept of bewitched would remain unaltered in any way without any "new" spins. As far as the cast is concerned, I'm OK with Nicole, but Jeniffer Anastom (sp)would also makw a great Samantha (I'd love to see her as Serena), and Jim Carry should definately play Darrin...pay him whatever he wants. Endora should be played by, here is a strecth, Joan Collins in all her style and fashion. I think George Hamilton would make a fantastic Maurice, and Uncle Auther could be played very well by the guy who plays Will on Will and Grace. That's just my thoughts.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me something about the painting that is by the front door. It's a painting of a small boy and he's holding something, possibly an oar or butter churner. It's not in all of the episodes but definitely in the episodes where Tabitha is about 4 years old. I just it in the episode where Mrs. Stevens thinks that Samantha needs a maid. Can anyone help?

Charlene: Welcome back! They haven't started filming yet though they did have a read through of at least one scene last week. There was a picture of it on some media photo website...which I can't recall the name of right now...of Nicole and Will reading through the script together. Nicole is away promoting her new film "Birth" but should be returning some time this week to begin filming.

OH! Barron! Don't leave, just yet!Busy Nicole pauses for check-up27aug04NICOLE Kidman's annual check-up has had tongues wagging – and rumour has it the actress was tested for osteoporosis. The brittle bone disease, which in extreme cases can be fatal, can be caused by excessive weight loss. A spokesman for Kidman confirmed she did go to the hospital, but added: "It was for a check-up that she has every year. She is in perfect health." A report in the Daily Mail claims Kidman, 37, became so concerned she may have the disease that she had tests in Los Angeles. It also said sources close to Kidman said she was at her thinnest after splitting from singer Lenny Kravitz and working on back-to-back movies. "Overworried, overworked and underfed, that's Nicole," said National Enquirer magazine. "She's been unhappy with her life since she split with Lenny Kravitz earlier this year and frantically working on one film project after another. She went straight from Stepford Wives and Birth into The Interpreter and now Bewitched. And when she's overworked she doesn't eat right." Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become fragile. It can impair the ability to walk unassisted, cause a hunchback, and can lead to permanent disability or death. Kidman showed how frail she was when she had a number of accidents on the set of Moulin Rouge.

Sam R? Is that really you? Am I dreaming? Naw - to do that, I'd actually have to be getting some sleep! Did someone use a mixture of careful cunning and extreme violence on that PC of yours? BTW, although no date has been set for EM's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, word on the street is that it's been put off until 2005 - to cross-promote the movie.

Now hopefully we can get this place jumpin' again!...so I know that some of us have been talking about a chat on the night of 9/17/04 to honor the 40th Anniversary of BW but other than that does anyone have any plans on what they are going to do to celebrate? I've been thinking of decorating my desk at work with balloons with Happy 40th Anniversary on them. I all ready have two EM pictures on my desk but I'm going to bring in more and I'll talk my team into having a potluck that day.

This is pretty cool. No question Bewitched is the most awesome show ever made. For those who are addicted I have a very intereting perspective. The entire illusion of the show has dug so deep into the makeup of our society that it has transformed the suburban desires of both men and women in multiple ways. Women desire the perfectness of what Samantha represented. A beautiful, sexy witch who had the luxury of a perfect lifestyle. Her husband was so intranced by her that she could be as spoiled and pampered as she wanted. Now in modern day society women crave that bewitching perfectness and lifestyle. They want a husband who can grant them "Richcraft" and worship them as a witch without any fear of ever being denied or abandoned. Men want to be a part of that magic family and in truth desire a beautiful mother-in law with style and attitude and a domineering presence. More and more the man with the wealth and power get's the prize females only to let her get the most advantage of the wealth and power. He works extremely hard while she drives around in luxury sports cars and shops at the most expensive stores. Here's the irony of the power of Bewitched. So many people want it but no one speaks about it in public. It's is secretly loved by millions and millions and I would bet it is alive and well in more healthy marriages than anyone would imagine. Finally and just to say it. Agnes Moorehead as Endora was the most captivating women that has ever lived on this planet and set a tone that has allowed senior women to enjoy extravagence and independance that never existed before she displayed it to all. this show has transformed the psychy of americana but no one will ever admit it and through this show women have achieved liberation and have gained control. Genie...no way...Samantha and Endora...That's power.

Today, **SCH** celebrates his birthday anniversary! I'm planning a surprise birthday celebration on the Moon this year, similar to the one that his Bewitched Family threw for him whilst they were all together in Reno and Sparks, NV. a few moons ago. **SCH** doesn't have any idea about his surprise birthday party. It was way cool how he blew out his candles at The Palace as we celebrated not only his birthday, but also paid tribute to Edwina's Bill, as his birthday is August 8th, just two days after **SCH**'s. All are invited. Serena is in charge of the entertainment. I've asked Tituba to arrange for her world famous mouth watering homemade pasta as well as some other absolutely brilliant dishes to be served. So, hope to see you all on the Moon!

In a popular TV comedy series of the 1960's and 1970's the leading male character was played, over the years, by two different actors who shared their first names. Slightly rearrange the letters of one actor's surname and insert the letter "e". Now follow this new "name" with the surname of the other actor. You should then have the title of a famous 1940's American film. Still with me!?If so, what was the title of the TV series?

We had some bad weather here, but, let me tell you, it sure could've been way worse!!!!!! About 6:15pm, I went outside and the wind was just blowing like crazy! So much that I had to hold onto the sideview mirror of my truck! The trees were bending over and the sky was a horrible black with some grayish green clouds. As I looked up in the sky, I saw massive amounts of lightening, one right after the other! It was way hot and humid and then almost immediately, the temperature drops like 30 degrees.....!!!!!! I looked upward at the sky again and to my amazement, I saw really dark black clouds beginning to SWIRL into some gray clouds. I scanned the sky and saw about FIVE separate Swirlings going on and it was almost as though I was hypnotized by the Swirling. I hung onto my truck sideview mirror as I gazed at the ominous Swirling........the drastic temperature change, the massive wind blowing........the Swirling............it was mesmerizing!!!!! About 10 minutes later...........silence. no wind. the sky just stopped. nothing. It was eerie!!! No birds chirping. No lightening. No Thunder. Nothing! Then just moments later, the wind began to blow, the sky began to Swirl again. Lightening. Thunder. It was really scary!!! I went back inside of work as I was paged by a resident. The Board of Directors was there tonight (they meet every 2nd tues. of the month) in their meeting. I went to Juanita Knust's apt. to see what she wanted. She had paged me to let me know we were under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 7:45pm and a Tornado Watch until 10:00pm. I watched the weather warnings and then told her I would have to inform my boss. I went back outside and it had calmed down somewhat, but the sky was just as black as can be, as all of the outside lights came on.......(they come on automatically).........and then the lightening and thunder increased as well as the wind and then the Rain began. It rained like I've never seen it rain before! It was a very busy night for me as Tuesday nights are a heavy cleaning night for me, not to mention that the Board was there, too......so I didn't even get to actually take a full break. I just barely finished my tasks and documentation before it was 11:30pm. I'm glad that we were spared the Tornadoes!!!!! I've never seen the sky Swirl like that before! 5 different Swirls.........I kept watching to see if they were going to funnel, but didn't see it IF it indeed did, as I was inside some of the time during the storm.

Hi All: Hope all is well with everyone....SCH: Is Cousin Henry & Friend you? We have to get reacquainted because it might be that you have a new handle? Or was that just a quick type so we'd know that Sir Cousin Henry (SCH) is Cousin Henry and Friend...What side of the moon were you on? I went roof hopping on the moon again and thought for sure that if you were there I'd have bumped into you.....Oh I just thought about something....there was someone moonbathing and he was going into the Moon Crater - not as much fun as the Catillion but you know how these things spring up, it is still a happening place though........:-) Was that You Cousin Henry? If it was you, you had a lot of moon cream on good job! :-) One of the things that remains a question....we have not heard about the status of Erin....did she contact those people, did those people contact her? Thanks for sending in those post cards because there are two roles that would be perfect for Erin.......Breen you are a dear! Celtic Princess: Alas, I don't know of any shops in the UK that you could purchase a Bewitched Tee...there are people who are in the UK and might be able to connect you....just be patient because I think they might be roof hopping on the moon.....or sipping at the Moon Crater....(it really is a happening spot...:-)Dr. Bombay, Thanks for the welcome :-) I must be off now have something to do and for the second I don't remember what it is....I am not worried though....I know that it will come back to me....they always do...if you were suppose to do something and forget about it.....it haunts you hunts you down, then later sticks to you shoes and reminds you....:-D Well....they do that to me....does this happen to anyone else either...? Or is it a special happening to Aunt Clara? Not important I was just wondering....:-) Well I will see you all shortly and hope that everything is wonderful for each and everyone of us....Stay Bewitched Everyone....Hugs to each and everyone of you....(BFE)

Yeah, where IS the one who suggested we come visit? Of all the colossal selfish and hypocritical nerve, we have encountered this century. Still, it is good to see people who have not been here for awhile. It is a good idea to pop in every now & then here at OUR old stomping ground the place we met and shared about Bewitched. Never mind that idiot with selfish ideas and not doing likewise. We could ignore that one, I know that moving forward I have already told that one to mind its own business. Let’s see if it does. Hi Celtic Princess. I can tell you a story about 'remembering' Bewitched. I used to watch it when I was young, and it was one of the big programs on TV each week. I think the whole family watched it, and I loved it. Then I forgot all about it.A few years ago they started showing Bewitched on a TV station in the UK, and I rediscovered it. And I also found this message board. I posted on this board about the opening credits. In my memory I had remembered that the opening credits had Samantha siting at a dresser (the kind with the mirror on it), and using her magic to levitate something, like hand-cream. And I was told here that in fact, this was ONLY in the starting credits for the very first episode. The first time I watched Bewitched had obviously made a deep impression on me, so I rememebered it as a false memory, as being the opening to every episode.(As an aside, I also remember the first time I saw Star Trek, and the first time I saw Spiderman. How many others have 'first time' memories?)

FYI I did write on a postcard and send it to the address Broph gave. I think a postcard is actually better than a letter ... keep it short and sweet, and let them read it. I took the approach of saying that they should want to attract as many of the current Bewitched fans to the movie as possible, and inclusion of Erin would help to do that. Better to say, "It will benefit YOU", rather than say, "I would like it". Broph if you have any more information or another person to also contact who might have some say, (Nora Ephron, who lives in New York?) then I would be pleased to send another postcard to them.

I've read the Bewitched script...... You all know that I have been against this Movie from the get go because OUR Lizzie didn't want to do a remake, or a reunion.... I was talked into accepting the concept because of some very wonderful involvement, that involvement was removed and I hated that... plus.....NO one can replace OUR Immortal Beloved and NO ONE should try to improve on perfection..... Kids, I have to tell you that this movie is going to be HUGE! This movie IS Homage to OUR Immortal Beloved Bewitched. It is tastefully written and will be tastefully done... those who see this movie who have never watched Bewitched in the Original will DEMAND to see OUR Immortal Beloved Bewitched.....Those of us who know and LOVE Bewitched will be more than delighted at what we will witness.... The least I can say for the near future is that Bewitched is BACK...Bewitched will probably be aired on a regular basis again.... There are tributes to OUR Lizzie, OUR Darrin, OUR Endora, OUR Aunt Clara, OUR UNCLE Arthur, OUR Gladys, OUR Abner, OUR Dr. Bombay, and others that... well... are part of OUR Immortal Beloved......Familiar names with revamped characterizations.....not remade....GLORIFIED..... The way the script has been written it does NOT try to improve on perfection...It does leave the perfection of OUR Immortal Beloved alone....Now I am NOT saying that it doesn't play with it a little....because it does....even the playfulness is well done. The humor within the script is familiar in the sense that some very special input has to have been consulted and invited.....there are some over the top side comments from the characters we will "get them" because we watched the Original.....Those who didn't will have an even funnier explanation so they will understand and we will know the intentions of those explanations and we will smile with pride....a few of me might even roar with laughter.....for example....Darrin does something that he would not normally do....we think to ourselves....Oh that's not what Darrin would do....then someone says exactly THAT "Oh, that's not what Darrin would do" (That is not the real example ;-P) You DO get the idea... Now the truth can be told...This Bewitched movie is TRULY Bewitched in spirit....it leaves OUR Immortal Beloved's perfection alone... Once Bewitched ALWAYS Bewitched....I can tell each and everyone of you that NONE of us are going to leave the theater without having that special feeling we had when it first aired....almost 40 years ago.....(Or the first time we saw it....) We fell in LOVE.....and ARE Bewitched Forever.....It is going to be magical for the other generations who have been born since that first air date of 9/17/64 and didn't see it until after they were born!!!! Bernard Fox is definitely going to be needed, the role just calls for HIM.....What Wizzy suggested about Erin for the waitress is so right on I hope that Erin called those people because NO ONE else can be the waitress....it has to be Erin....(I really think/believe that part was written with Erin in mind) it is actually poetic justice that she is the waitress because of the interactions the waitress has with the characters...I hope that we have each done our part in contacting the fax address Broph has listed because (I didn't know this before and I do now, Erin is shy.) What a lovely aspect of OUR Immortal Beloved Tabatha....she is shy, Erin, you really need to not be shy and go for this role....even the role of the try outs for Samantha....you will have a blast....oh heck, we will have a blast seeing you....WE need to ensure that we have campaigned for Bernard Fox to reprise his Dr. Bombay role....same numbers as Broph has listed.....There is even room for cameos for OUR Louise and Esmeralda......in the studio audience....;-) (I even see OUR Louise (Kasey) being one of the "they" who notice infractions.....and calls one to OUR attention.... Joan Plowright is going to be beyond Brilliant in this as Aunt Clara (I hope she signs on) .....Shirley McLain is perfect for her character.....and what she does....Michael Caine is beyond excellent for his role,.....Oh, and Will Farrell.....You might think that I have been paid to say this... I have NOT....HE is actually EXACTLY perfect for his role....Nicole has been performing her role already in the media and she is brilliant....not having the twitch down so far....ha ha....what a smooth move....and the funniest thing of all....All of the hoopla surrounding the concept of a movie within a movie is really very funny. It is part of a bigger aspect that I think was originally intended to quell fears for US diehard hard-core fans of OUR Immortal Beloved Bewitched....it backfired because they used the wrong wording.....It isn't a movie within a movie....It IS Bewitched....(and Bewitched.... is a TV show.....;-) WE are in for a TREAT......I really believe that OUR Lizzie would approve, I can hear OUR Immortal Beloved Lizzie giggling right now.....Thank you Hollywood for leaving Perfection alone...You will have a hard time keeping people away from it now.....;-) P.S. I have posted this on other sites too and when I checked here realized that I had forgotten to post it at home.....Those of US who are Bewitched Forever have nothing to worry about. OUR Immortal Beloved Bewitched is intact FOREVER. (BFE)

Hi Kat, nice to see you here, and I'm glad you are well. (Yes Erin should have a part in the movie, it is such a no-brainer. Obviously if they call the movie "Bewitched", even if they change things, then they must be hoping to attract Bewitched fans. Wouldn't the inclusion of Erin be a good way to do so?)

Yes you are right Elizabeth Montgomery played both roles of Samantha and Serena, she used the Stage name of Pandora Spocks as a joke & a play on words on Pandora's Box,but it was her both times, she really enjoyed the enhanced theatricality possible with the Serena Character.Larry Tate :)

Hi All, Hope all is well with everyone! The news about Joan Plowright is superb.....Marion Lorne herself is probably UP THERE cheering Joan on and leading her thoughts (Joan's) that she accept the role. With Joan Plowright at the helm of the role of Aunt Clara this movie is really shaping up.....Joan Plowright is an incredibly talented actress. Everything and anything that Joan Plowright has appeared she has added zest and utter delight to the work/piece. I am so excited to read that Joan Plowright has been tapped for this endeavor. "We" are beginning to become very interested in this version of Bewitched....the premise of a movie within a movie.....not to worry people....Joan Plowright will make Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne and this brand of Aunt Clara) very proud indeed. Get your running shoes on kids to get advanced tickets....it is going to be GREAT!!!! I cannot leave without mentioning that Joan Plowright was married to another outstanding and magnificent star.....Sir Lawrence Olivier showing that Joan Plowright is not only a GREAT talent she is an incredibly selective woman....;-) Joan, I've never been disappointed in anything you have ever done and I know that this time will be NO exception.....I've said this before (on another website) Joan, Break both legs.....all the best to you Dearie. If we can't have Marion here to spearhead this role I am so glad that we have YOU....Hugs to one and all.....Stay Bewitched Everyone (BFE)

Sounds like this movie is getting ready to go full force into production! Along with Broph's news Variety has just announced that Joan Plowright has been offered the role of Aunt Clara. She played Mrs. Wilson in the "Dennis the Menace" movie. I think she's PERFECT for the part and I hope she accepts it.

Actress-singer Kristin Chenoweth will be bothered and bewildered in her upcoming role in "Bewitched." The Tony-winning performer will portray the nosy neighbor who's suspicious of Nicole Kidman's witch character in the big-screen adaptation of the popular 1960s TV show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The story centers on the witch Samantha (Kidman), who marries a mortal (Will Ferrell) and has to come to terms with living without magic, or at least appearing to do so. Shirley MacLaine will play Samantha's meddlesome mother Endora.

I was rather suprised that you agreed to twitch your nose as I know you get asked to do it ALL THE TIME! But it was a fun appearance....now onto other news about the BW movie. It's been announced today that Kristin Chenoweth, who plays Glinda in the musical "Wicked" is in talks to play nosey-neighbor MARIE in the BW movie!!! Why are they making a new character??! I've been thinking about the casting of the movie, and I think Will Ferrell and Shirley MacLaine will be great. Will has that Dick York kind of quality in his facial expressions and his physical comedy. Shirley, although we all know NO ONE could EVER live up to AM's portrayal of Endora, will still do a great job. I always think of her part in Steel Magnolias because she reminds me of AM a little bit. I'm trying to stay positive so that it is something to look forward to...anything new related to Bewitched is better than nothing at all, right?

Hello everyone. I am currently producing a television documentry on Dick York. In 1989 I shot nearly 3 hours of video with Dick and his wife joey at their little red house in Rockford Michigan. Dick is dressed in his bath robe, wearing his oxygen mask and smoking cigerettes. Dick is funny , serious, and angry. We look at old photo's from Hollywood, and talk about dicks career, and what happened on Bewitched, and later,,, good stuff, about cleaning apartment and people knowing who he was...Recovering from his addiction with his wife at his side, and their " unconditional love "I have just started putting this together, hope to air it on one of the cable channels within a year..At this point I am simply looking for feed back, or interesting storys or donated pictures or other material for the project.Get back to me if you want.Steve Bothunstevebothun@hotmail.com

Hi All, Happy to see you Dr. and the rest too...;-) This up and coming Bewitched movie seems to be a topic that is chock full of odd information. There are websites out there giving information that it will be a movie within a movie.....and in protest we feel protective of OUR Immortal Beloved. Rightly so by the way...;-) I really didn't want to see this movie made without "someone's" involvement and after assurances changed my mind. Things changed and well I am back to not wanting to see it again. If you remember other movies and the press prior to their releases, there is always a lot of hype. Another fear is that the actors portraying the characters will try to imitate the originals. One cannot improve on perfection. The Originals were the perfect actors. Yes, even the Darrin Switch, (and the other switches too Gladys, and Louise) while Dick Sargeant wasn't Dick York (who IS Darrin and will be forever in my mind) picked up a role that was an important aspect of OUR Immortal Beloved. The truth is that Dick Sargeant wasn't Dick York. I can make comparisons until the cows come home... and there are those who feel that Dick Sargeant was the only Darrin. Reason being they saw his portrayal first.....odd to me however, that is how it is for some of “us” out there....Hearing about the actors who will portray the characters the objections rolled in, because of feeling protective.....Will Farrell is an odd choice for Darrin....if he tries to portray Dick York's rendition he will be compared to Dick York....NO ONE ELSE could ever fill Dick York's shoes. Let's face it....NO ONE ELSE could fill Liz's shoes either....Alright, for that matter....no one else could fill ANYONE ELSE'S SHOES either. I love Betty White, she is a remarkable actress.....rumors have circulated that she might be tapped to portray Aunt Clara...Okay....as long as she doesn't try to do Aunt Clara (Rose Nilan (sp?) style) I think it would be a fine performance. Not to leave out Endora, there isn’t anyone alive today who could do for the role what Agnes Moorehead did for the role of Endora...OUR Immortal Beloved lives! If they Nora and sister turn the script into a movie within a movie about something else, well it just sounds really far fetched and doubts arise that it will be viewed by the fans of the original. That isn't something that Hollywood wants to hear or cause to happen.....there are a lot of us out here who LOVE the original. I am not a fan of Nora's for personal reasons and when she undertook the job, knew little about the original show. I really found that unsettling and I find that the premise of a movie within a movie more unsettling. By now, I am sure that the Ephron’s have viewed the original to ensure that they understand the dynamics. This might be a redeeming quality....we have to wait and see... Hollywood has been playing games, which makes me think that as Dr. Bombay mentioned it might be a red-herring and to provoke conversation regarding the plot. Thus causing fans of the original seeing it to check it out...."Someone" contacted me and suggested that I not throw the baby out with the bathwater.....so.....here I am sitting on a fence. As far as Mission Impossible doing to Peter Graves portrayal and memory of the character he portrayed, was not a nice thing to do. I didn't appreciate it either. The show was about loyalty, covert operations, and trust. To denote that Jim Phelps turned bad really stunk. It mocked the original, and spat in it's face....I agree Breen. It was so very Hollywood and despicable to the nth degree. It was a simple show with a team working together for a specific purpose. YOU have to be able to trust your team at all times. Be aware that someone might betray the team, certainly not the team leader. That premise is too egotistical of “someone” to suggest that Jim Phelps would be the one.... I do not want this version of The Bewitched Movie (by the Ephron's) to do the same to OUR Immortal Beloved.....I have no say in what goes on in Hollywood.....if I did....I would want those actors still this side of the spirit world involved in the movie. Turn it into a loving tribute.....and make sure that the writer/s of the script had an understanding that the show was about LOVE. It was a Love Story and for those of us who love the show, the Love Story continues....WE love the show, and each and every actor who had anything to do with the show. Okay, the directors too....;-) Bill Asher (MY Bill) Rocks the Universe. Okay, Richard Michaels is fine too...;-) Ida Lupino directed the BEST episode whereby WE saw the depth of love Samantha had for Darrin. A is for Aardvark.... full of true emotion portrayed in a wonderful manner. Never mind that OUR Lizzie did not want to make a movie/reunion……putting that aside if she were here today, knowing the movie was going to be made, without her...she would have been asked to have a say, and participate in some way....so that Hollywood would feel that those who loved the original show would indeed see it. Bewitched the original was magical, mystical, and full of love at every corner. It wasn’t sugar coated for its time. Let’s all hope that the Ephron’s put their best efforts forward and that THEIR best efforts do not mock OUR Immortal Beloved. I truly wish the script would be handled by the original person intended because I would be the first in line to see it. The original person intended views the original show as we do.....it is collectively OUR Immortal Beloved. Alas, back to the hope that the Ephron’s put their best efforts forward and their efforts respect the original premise..... I have tremendous hope...AND I am crossing my parts whilst hoping....;-) Regardless, and tee hee hee....maybe, it will turn out to be in spite of the movie... WE might all be pleasantly surprised after all....I intend to stay Bewitched Forever....Please do likewise....Hugs to ALL..(BFE)

Aunt Clara - hello to you, glad you liked the pictures. Regarding the plot of the upcoming Bewitched movie - it's hard to say until the movie actually comes out, but sadly, that is the current rumor concerning the plot of the movie. There was a brilliant show on TV called Mission Impossible, and in case anyone doens't know it, it was about a team of special agents who carried out a complicated 'scam' each week. The theme music was brilliant, and some of the earlier episodes involved very complicated and entertaining plots. Then Tom Cruise made a MI remake. I was disappointed. He just used the brand name. The theme music was the same. But apart from that, the movie was nothing to do with the original show. It was essentially "Tom Cruise IS James Bond".In the first few minutes of the movie, for example, all his MI staff got killed. (I don't think that's a spoiler as the movie is years old now and it's the first few minutes.)So I hope they aren't taking the Bewitched brand name and making an entirely different movie.

I just saw the episode "A Bunny For Tabitha" which was about Uncle Arthur accidently conjuring up a Playboy Bunny for Tabitha's birthday. (Her fifth) This is an interesting episode as you can spot various people on it. You can see Bernie Kopel (Dr. Adam Bricker on "Love Boat") as the client (I forgot his name) The late Carol Wayne (An actress from the old Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. (I think she played "The Matinee Lady"))as Bunny (the Playboy bunny)Danny Bonaduce (as we all know from the Patridge Family and Celebraty Boxing and his own talk show)as a bully named Robert (Hey, I guess that was a stretch!!!!!!!!! LOL)and Erin's own sister Diane. They were kids at Tabitha's birthday party. Diane Murphy was all decked out in a bad wig so it wouldn't obvious that she looked like Tabitha. She was credited as "Diane" although her charactor was called "Annabelle". That didn't make sense. I wonder if EM's kids William and Robert played kids on that show as well. By the way does anyone know if her son Robert was on the Halloween episode where Endora turns Darrin (Dick Sargent) into a hag. There was a scene where Sam was taking Tabitha out trick or treating with some other kids and one boy goes up to her dressed as a ghost saying "Boo, Tabitha, did I scare you?" and she said "No you didn't, Bobby".

I read the plot symopsis of the Bewitched movie and I have to say I was bitterly disappointed. Nicole Kidman's charactor is not even called "Samantha" but something else. I think she is unaware she is a witch and her parents are not I believe Endora and Maurice. Will Farrel plays an actor trying to revive his acting career by staring in a remake of "Bewitched". I really hope this plot synopsis is not true. Can anyone enlighten me on this?

Hi All, Hope ALL is well with everyone....Broph, -Great pics of your vacation.....Isn't it amazing that it is already May 1, 2004? What happened to time??? It seems to be moving with accelerated acceleration...wasn't it 9/17/64 just a minute ago???? So much had happened in those years since...One constant that we can count on is Bewitched ...where we can find it either on a cable channel somewhere.....or our own private video tapes....It is such a comfort to have Bewitched these years later....to be able to see it....just witch that when it is on TV land that they would show the whole episode and not edit it down to fit the time slot of commercials....Okay, we will buy your products....now show US the full versions of Bewitched....Okay, next question....where the heck is everyone???? I know that there are other boards and sites out there with wonderful gems and delights....visit them and don't forget to come home......I miss the busy board that this once was.....if I wave my arms and cast a spell maybe that will bring everyone back to where it began....well, wouldn't that be so wonderful....everyone go back to 9/17/64 (even if you weren't born yet....) see the episodes...remember the missing pieces....and OUR Immortal Beloved once again available in its entirety....without the two inches of credits....on the side....well...back to the wonderful Bewitched that we know and love....Ahhhhh....Back in time to a wonderful era the show with love at its core...and lots of other interesting ideas....to twitch or not to twitch....is that a question? Okay, everyone account for yourselves.....where the heck are you? Stealing a line from another great story.....err I am referring to the movie....Come back Auntie Em....;-) Hugs to ALL....Our Immortal Beloved lives....Stay Bewitched Everyone...More Hugs to you ALL....(BFE)

Growing up in the late60's and early 70's bewitched was a big part of my life. I always wanted to be like Samantha ad twinkle my nose and pop in and out of places. I would always dream about doing those things. To me Bewitched will always on. And nowmy children enjoy the show as well.

We Bewitched fans know that no one can replace the original cast. However, I'm glad a movie is being made, and I'm looking forward to it. I have to admit, I can't think of any other actress that would make a better Samantha. I like Nicole, she's a great actress, beautiful, and is a very high-profile "A-list" celebrity. I don't know Will Ferrell, so I'm open to liking him.I think Shiley MacLaine is a great choice for Endora. And Michael Caine is another high-profile celebrity. All in all I'm very happy with these developments.

Charlene: Will Ferrell is no longer on Saturday Night Live, all though you could rent The Best of Will Ferrell from SNL. It's really funny. He's also in the movies "Elf" which is really good and "Old School". He makes an uncredited appearance in the new "Starsky & Hutch" movie. Shirley MacClaine as Endora? Yes, I guess she'd do, but I as I may have said before, I really wanted Joan Collins to play Endora and Bette Midler would have been my second choice. I will have to watch some Shirley Maclaine movies in the meantime.Michael Caine would be a good choice for Maurice. I will have to find my copy of Alfie and watch it. I just taped that movie, but didn't really watch it yet, just listened to Cher's great singing over the closing credits. Problem is, I am not sure where the tape is. I never know where things are in my video tape collection. I hardly wait to hear who will be playing the Kravitzes (I may have suggested before Abner be played by Billy Chrystal, and Gladys be played by Rosanne Barr) Larry Tate, Aunt Clara (as I suggested before Angela Landsbury) and Frank and Phylis Stephens. (I know a woman who is an actress who would be perfect for the role of Phylis Stephens, but unfortunately she's not big enough be considered for the movie. Her name is Roselle Stone and she did a guest shot on a Canadian T.V. series once and was on the radio doing a commercial maybe she did some other T.V. work, but I think she mostly acts in community theatre.) But is Will Farrell a miscast for Darrin? He really has the Dick Sargent look. I saw him sing with Jack Black on the Oscars. What films did he do so I can watch him and get a feel for him as Darrin? Is he still on Saturday Night Live? Was Bette Midler considered for Endora, but then the idea was turned down because she is touring with a concert she's doing? Also Rosanne Barr may not be available too since she maybe on the road with her stand-up comedy show. Then as for Uncle Arther: My choices would be Nathan Lane or Robin Williams, but Nathan Lane is probably unavailable since he is starring on Broadway in "The Producers" (A show I am dying to see, but unfortunatley will never. And it was suggested for my birthday.) And Robin Williams he maybe be free this summer when shooting begins since he is shooting two movies this spring. But then again he wants to tour again with another stand-up comedy show, so he might just be continuing to workshop his material in San Fransico like he has been doing on and off. Hmm, lets see what happens.Charlene

On tonight's episode of Entertainment Tonight, they just confirmed that Shirley MacLaine is in talks to play Endora!!!And ET made it official that Nicole Kidman & Will Ferrell will indeed play Samantha & Darrin in the BIG SCREEN version of the hit TV series!I don't know about you, but if Shirley is cast as Endora, that will certainly make up for the miscasting of Will Ferrell! Also after watching Access Hollywood & E! Live News, both shows also confirmed that Shirley MacLaine is indeed in serious talks to play Endora in the new movie & now they are also reporting that Michael Caine is also in talks to play Samantha's father Maurice!Wow this is really starting to look good!Is it too late to trade in Will Ferrell for Jim Carrey??? Just thought you might like to know that on the cover of today's Daily Variety it states that Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine are close to signing for the roles of Endora and Maurice in the movie of "Bewitched." While I think Shirley is great, I don't think she has Agnes' imperiousness. But I'm excited that it's shaping up to be a prestigious film, as it should be. Plus since Shirley and Michael starred in "Gambit" in 1966, it gives them a history, which is apropos of Endora and Maurice.Hope you all are well.

I don't want to steal her thunder, but Erin Murphy was able to attend the TV Land Awards show, after all. An LA friend of mine was also able to wrangle some special passes - at first he was on the bleachers near the red carpet, but he was invited in to the main floor of the event. When the show was over, he was searching through the crowd and actually saw Erin herself - she remembered him from their last meeting (October, 1998) and was incredibly nice, taking the time to talk to him for a few minutes. Adding the fact that he saw some of his other idols - Ruth Buzzi, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Liza Minelli, it turned out to be one spectacular night.

Kim, Alice Ghostley played Esmeralda between 1969 to 1972 but I'm afraid I don't know how many episodes she was in. Maybe someone else does?I looked at the IMDB http://uk.imdb.com/name/nm0315933/ she's also been in a lot of other shows as well.

Whoever wants an advance copy, must get their info and how many they want to me so that I can make the arrangements with the publisher. The editor copy looks really good. Thanks very much,RPNO MONEY IS REQUIRED. I just need a number count. Once I have the books in hand, I will contact everyone individually and tell them where to send their money or how to pay by credit card via the publisher. I completely forgot to give the URL to the TV Land Message Board - http://www.tvland.com/boards/viewboard.jhtml?bID=1530 . You do have to register to post, but it's pretty easy. I'm not sure how many episodes had Esmerelda - that's a good question. I checked a couple of sources, but most seem to list her as a "recurring character" and don't note which episodes she appears in (not even the IMDb).

Erin - that's terrible - someone must have made a mistake! Is there anyone we can call or write? Can we send someone a box of chocolate-covered bananas? Erin - after everything you did for the show last year, they should definitely have you back. If there is anyone we can contact - even on this short notice, let us know!

What a fantastic series. Samantha is just great, but the star of the show for me is and always will be the magnificent Marion Lorne as Aunt Clara. I watch every day on Channel 4 in the UK. mAGIC!

Supposedly the movie will be set in Sam and Darrin's early years- so I don't think Tabatha will even be born yet.

Does anyone have any idea how I could contact someone about my daughter trying out for the role of Tabatha for the upcoming movie of Bewitched that Nicole Kidman is starring in? I know that Nora Epron is directing it bUt I can't find any info. anywhere. Please e-mail me with any ideas. I know she would do the role justice as she is such a young Bewitched fan and looks so much like Tabatha.

Just a quick update - the last board has been archived - starting a new board now. I've taken down Archive 001, but I have saved it on my local drive - my account is getting a little tight on space!
