I don't get TV Land but my dad does, so I'll just kick him out of the house and take over his TV when AM is on...actually, he likes AM (the man has taste!) too so he'll probably watch w/me. AM Quote of the day just for Tabatha: "What is beauty? We all know how we have felt when we have seen someone with a magnificent face....a truly "beautiful" person. And, then, we have all felt the disillusioning disappointment when that person has shown a streak of ugliness within himself or herself; hate or stupidity or anything but the "beauty" we thought we had found there. And, then, we all know how it is to be with someone whose facial features might not, perhaps, be "ideally" beautiful in the sense of the word we commonly use; or someone beyond the first flush of youth. Yet, that person makes us want to stay with him or her. We feel warm and secure and confident; radiating, whether we know it or not, in that person's confidence in himself or herself. And, when we leave we know we have had a beautiful experience; have been in the company of a beautiful human being. What have you heard during your experience with that person? Only words of love that have come from thoughts of love. And, true love comes only from God."

Larry Tate: **grin** Why THANK you!! And you're the best source I know for findin' out about Bewitched-related upcoming TV shows! TY! So THAT'S what the Pandora Spocks thing was all about! LOL I always wondered that! Mr Marvelous: GRRRRR! Do you have any idea how frusterating this is for me? I've heard SO MUCH about Liz and AM and everyone being on Password and other such game shows on the Game Show Network, and I can NEVER watch them or record them or anything cuz we don't GET the Game Show Network, and there's no way my 'rents are every gonna get it = (.**sob** Twitch of a nose: Really? I had no idea any of the TV stations around here were groovy enough to run Bewtiched! Not too shabby! I'll hafta look into that! Oh, and BTW...girl, what did you TAKE this morning? You're just a little TOO hyper! **grin** Little joke, 'bout that big. Northern Boy: Try doing a search at www.dogpile.com or www.1blink.com for Bewitched pics. I'm sure there'll be plenty of Darrin and Larry from the eppies. Endora: **grin** Thank you! And hey, whatever happened to your "AM Quotes Of The Day"?? Remember them? I go away fro a year (9 months, same thing), and suddenly I come back and there's a lack of those wise, precious quotes! What happened? Peace! **crosses her fingers, wiggles them, and disappears** - Tabatha

So in a few weeks I'll shall be near Endora's hometown visiting relatives, and doing the beach thing--maybe I should give the "ole gal" a ring?? *Poofs out to avoid lighting bolt from Endora*

As for the weather ,well how else could it be in Sammy land,i mean Endora & Serena wouldn't have it any other way. Dick York will be featured in a piece this weekend when ET WEEKEND has a TV Scandles theme,it most likely is the same as the one we have seen on 3 other occasions but for those who missed it ,here is another chance for you. By the way Liz in Sins of the Mother is on thur. the 24th at noon EST on the Lifetime TV for women channel, check you local TV Guides for time & channel.

I think the reason the weather stayed beautiful and sunny is it is the proper weather for the occasional palm trees we would see there:) Plus remember the portable TV Serena gave Durwood that had THE weather man's channel on it? Serena probably 'persuaded' -wink, wink- The Weather Man to keep it nice just in case she decided to pop in. Tabatha: Long time no 'see'.

Broph: I thought of you last night as we had a cool front blow through last night and everyone was talking about how "cold" it had gotten (it was in the 50s), and my friend Jack (whose from Pennsylvania) was like "Oh yea, watch out going home tonight, cause at this rate the roads might ice over"...it reminded me of the way, when I would say it was "freezing" in Salem, you'd always say "it's not freezing, if it were freezing, there'd be ice on the puddles...." Re the weather on Bewitched...your guess is as good as mine, but certainly wish we had it here! It was always clear and mild!

The weather report for the Salem area - very cloudy and somewhat rainy - it's lucky that I got my yardwork done this weekend. Now the relevant question - why did it never rain on "Bewitched" unless it was central to the story?! They also had a lot less snow than a comparable "real" Connecticut city - who was the wise witch?!

We all are sad @ heart as we miss our Lizzie, but the knowledge & comfort we have comes from her eternal presence in both our hearts & minds, she is happy as i type this ,bound in joy everlasting that we know will soon enough be ours with her. bodmonster ,it is a shame but although Dick York shopped it around before he passed ,his autobiography seesaw girl has never been published but as i recall if you go to www.bewitched.net & go to the drop window at the bottom of the homepage you will see interviews with the cast & included are excerpts related to Liz & Bewitched from the book. Polychrome,as to my glazed over eyes ,re the cause, you peeked as you were flitting about on the Cosmos continuium, naughty naughty. Hiya Twitchy, yes we are on our way, soon i will branch out into oklahoma,i will sell it for a train ticket to California as that is about it's worth :>) its beaches & bikinis for this powermad executive from this point on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hi there, sorry to keep "popping in" (ha ha) but i was just wondering if anyone has heard of an autobiography by Dick York called "Seesaw Girl." I read about it in a link from Breen's link page (his old page I think.) Anyhow, I couldnt find it at Amazon, ebay or any out of print bookstores, but I would be interested in reading such a book if it exists, cheers now.

Marco:Well I hadn't mentioned it because I was just able to access a computer. That isn't to say that I haven't been thinking about it all week. I can't believe it's been six years since Lizzie left for bigger and better things. I have been watching her appearances on Password Plus all week long and I am reminded of what a lovely woman she was and still is somewhere out in the Universe. All though I never met her I miss her. And some day when I move to the great big beyond perhaps I shall meet her. But my prayers are with her family. May they be comforted this day and always.

Just a quick note,in 1949 Liz talked her Dad into letting her @ 15 audition for the movie Eye Witness to be shot in 1950 in England with him produceing,he had promised Liz @ 10 to try out for one of his movies so he relented ,she didn't get cast as her Dad wanted a more experienced actress but she got to appear in it in a uncredited cameo where although her face isn't seen she is seen rideing a bike away from the camera on at least two occasions down a dirt road, she is seen from the side & back in shorts with those lovely legs.......................sorry i got s little distracted there ,anyways it will be on an American variety station i assume on cable called American One TV on Monday ,May.21st @ 11:00 AM PST.It as well will be on Satellite in the clear for free on Satellite W3 TRANSPONDER (THAT'S CHANNEL) 24,it is also known as General Electric 3 & is located at 87 degree's W.GOOD LUCK IN FINDING IT. :>)

Always remember and don't ever forget that a dream is a wish your heart makes. "Witch" brings to mind...MY Bill Asher....(sigh....) Stay bewitched Everyone! (BFE)

Hey all, not too much info for an update - we're waiting for another Cat Scan to see what the next course of action is. Wednesday morning I should find out if I will bring my father home that day or if he'll need a couple more days in the hospital. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers - he's had a rough couple of months and he needs all the support he can get.

The Bewitched Critic hmmm? You mean the same one that is crediting w/directing an absolutely FABULOUS stage version of "Psycho Beach Party"? Polychrome: Yes, I'm definitely up for Snoopy joy dance....Dave: Let's see...if I were on Password w/EM what would I be thinking... 1. Rita is totally jealous right now. 2. I don't care how much money Larry is offering, I am NOT going to look down her shirt for him. 3. Damn...why couldn't I have gotten on the show the week AM was doing it? 4. "It's Samantha! It's Samanatha!"

Did we all catch Liz tonight on Password Plus, the first episode of that series? I love seeing her as herself. What I thought was funny was when she was trying to get the contest to say a word that starts with 'W' and one of the choices he threw out was 'Witch!' I'm sure he was absolutely thrilled to be playing the game with Samantha. I wouldn't have done well because I would've been thinking the whole time "It's Samantha! It's Samantha!" In case you did miss her appearance tonight she will be on the rest of the week on the Gameshow Network at 7pm est. The other guest star is her husband, then boyfriend, Robert Foxworth.

I really love them because when I watch with my friends it's much more fun to read the review and then look for certain people, phrases or bloopers plus compare how we rate the episode along with Scott's reviews. I hope that the next batch include some of my favorites like "the Warlock in the Gray Flannel Suit" and "Hippie Hippie Hooray!"

Hi Everybody. Yes, we are one big HAPPY family. Skip and I very graciously apologized to each other. I for putting him on display on the Board, and he for realizing that he unknowingly did indeed use many of my scans for his site. He saved them so long ago he had forgotten their origin. When he compared the scans on my site to the ones he had used on his he knew they were from me. All is well in Bewitched Land! Now that that's all cleared up I have some news - "The Bewitched Critic" has some new reviews coming our way! And to confirm the rumor, "Headliners and Legends with Matt Lauer" is doing a segment on Elizabeth Montgomery. I've been lucky enough to have been asked to assist them with the memorabilia and video aspect of the production. The show will probably air sometime in July or August. I will get an exact date and post it. "Vic's Bewitched Page" http://members.aol.com/BewitchVic/main.html

Vic: After I had posted my message and I was thinking about it before going to bed I realized that I had not thought about you meaning that the scans of photos were exclusive to your site. It never occured to me until then. I do agree that if a person has taken the time to scan and resize photos and such then yes, those changes do belong to that person. I would like to think that Skip might've inadvertantly acquired pics from your site others who happened to send them to him. I do not believe Skip would do that. But I suppose it'll be resolved plus the whole thing is beginning to bore me...So I'm glad that we can all see each other's point of views and discuss them w/o hurt feelings like has happened in the past (I keep on thinking about mountains and Mohammed for some reason...)

Just to clarify my post. I am not saying I have exclusive rights to the Liz photos. I never said I did. But I am saying that the SCANS that I did belong to my site. It takes a lot of time and effort to color correct, clean up the images, fix scratches, resize, touch up and upload them to my server. I know each and every photo I have scanned and retouched. I hoped that made watermarking unnecessary. But it seems like something I should start doing. If someone is making a website, and on top of taking photos I scanned, then credits someone else, don't you think that is unethical? I spend a lot of time and a lot of money to make my site special. If someone can just come along and grab my images, throw them up on their page, call them their own. How special does my page remain? That in my opinion is "Bad Taste." If there would have been an email address on that site I would have made contact that way. I didn't feel the need to wait until I would be contacted. My experience is when someone is using my scans, they ignore my soft requests to remove them. I love to share my Liz collection with others. That's why I made the website. But sharing doesn't include letting others create a site that with my work. Skip, I apologize if I embarrassed you, but if you knew the dozens of sites that have used my photos, you would understand my loss of patience. Well, I hope I cleared things up.

I felt I needed to say something about Vic's decision to contact Skip on this board about personal things. It shouldn't have been any of my business but since it was made public I feel justified in posting my views. I've read both Vic's and Skip's posts and I feel I need to voice my concern. Vic: I don't want you to take my message as an attack it's just frankly I'm surprised at your choice of contacting Skip on this board as doing so, as Uncle Arthur would put it, "...is in super stupendous glorious bad taste!" OK, it isn't really as bad as Uncle Arthur would say but truly uncomfortable for, I believe, everyone. I love your site and I know you put a lot of time and effort into it. And I know you felt you had no other means of contacting Skip as he doesn't leave his email with his posts. But accusing him of lifting pics off your site on this board wasn't the way to do it. You should've simply left a message saying you would like him to email you and then the both of you could've discussed in private through emails both sides of the story and resolved it. This whole business of those pictures being for 'exclusive' use on your site is silly to me considering that we could all find those pictures on eBay or someplace and might all ready have them in our possession. I don't believe that I have ever seen that you purchased the rights to certain photos displayed on your site nor have I seen that on any other BW site for that matter. I would say that your colorized pics most definitely would have exclusivity to your site as you took the time to color them but I don't believe I saw those on the MGCNews. I don't want to be mean and cause an uproar but posting an accusation as you did was in bad taste and quite un-Bewitched like. I feel that we are all supposed to enjoy the products of BW (ie photos, memorablia, what-have-you) together and enjoy the happiness that both Liz and the show brought to us and still brings to us. From my perspective it seems to me that it shouldn't matter who posts the same photo on their site first. It would be nice if everybody could show the different photos from their collection so that the viewers of these websites could enjoy something that maybe they haven't seen before...anyway I hope that there are no hurt feelings. It's like Endora said: "We're one big happy family." We'll have our little differences from time to time but I would hope we could all play happily and fairly. Broph: We will keep your father in our prayers. Hope things make a turn for the good soon.

The photos that appear on my site are either scans of photos from my personal collection, or photos that have been given to me, along with the permission to post them. There were also some photos which I have downloaded from the internet--but none that were watermarked in any way. I have never taken photos from other Bewitched sites, to then post on my own site. - Clearly I am not the copyright owner of these images (but then again, I don't knw of any other webmaster who is). I have posted nothing with the intention of infringing on anyone's rights--and if I've unwittingly done this, I apologize, because this was never my intention. - I began my website with a sincere desire to share my 'scrapbook' with other fans. I've had a lot of very positive feedback from a number of very generous people. I said from the outset that I was not competing with any other Bewitched sites. All I've wanted to do is share with others my love of the show and its stars. But to be perfectly honest, I am not enjoying being put on public trial. I will be changing the content/format of the photo albums because, without meaning to, I have clearly upset some people who have reacted with public posts on sites other than my own, which is the site that upset them in the first place. This is a little puzzling to me, since my site contains its own messageboard.

Broph: How is your father doing? Larry: Thanks for sharing the info about EM and her hubby's appearances on Password Plus next week. I'm so excited! I love seeing Liz as Liz. But it's going to be terrible for me to try and record them as they are being broadcast the very same time as the Evening News on ABC which my father watches like clockwork. I suppose I'm going to need to hide the remote control. Aunt Clara: Thank you for your kind words. I suppose they give awards post humously to make up for the fact that they realized their error in not giving it to her when she was alive. They probably felt it made up for it when really it didn't. The same goes for their constant snubbing of EM and they haven't even done her the 'courtesy' of giving her an award posthumously and quite frankly it's too little too late anyhow...but I digress. As I was thinking of Marion Lorne yesterday I was reminded of when Sam R went to see the play about her life. I'm jealous, as usual, even two years later. Skip:Just wanted to say that you finally have answers to your Oscar trivia questions, answers given by yours truly. I thought they were really hard questions when I first saw them but as I looked at them again tonight I recognized that I all ready knew the answers. So what's the grand prize for not only getting the answers but being the first to do so? Plus you'll notice I gave an extra credit answer to the first question:) Your site is very good. I enjoy the pictures from each season that you're doing and all the various magazine articles and snippets. Keep it up!

It's wonderful and I had a lot of un exploring it, except (and of course) it needs more AM! AM Quote for the day: "I think I get along well w/directors and vice versa. I think they know they can trust me and that I'm cooperative and they don't have to worry about me, and that I will follow their line of thinking so that our thoughts merge pretty well."

Broph ,so pleased to hear that your Father is coming home today & that he is doing better,I hope some home cooking will be the best medicine for him. Twitchy welcome to the board,so glad to see you here,I think Michelle's message board is history for some reason.Elizabeth Moorehead, what a cool name for the lucky lady who has it. By the way Jamie i have heard that channel 4 will definetely be carrying the colorized versions of the first two B/W seasons sometime in December, they are in season 5 right now,so when they finish season 8 they will go into the colorized episodes. Hank hank as well as the wise & venerable Endora's suggestion of Ebay,i would suggest amazon.com & as well Yahoo.com has an auction house as well. Skip i like the articles & nasty bits & all of your new photos on your site, keep them coming, had a blast at out friday chat,i'm looking forward to the next one.A program note,on A & E's Biography on May.17th,Dominick Dunne will be on,as he knew Liz in the 1950's & was good friends with her,he most likely will have some mentions of her as he did in his autobiography.

Ryan: You sound like me! And you're right! It does need more AM! Twitch: Very cool about the name and welcome. Hank Hank: Ebay is a good place to find the publicity stills you're looking for. AM Quote for the day: "Many actors have created comic characters on which they have built their careers. Look at them: Laurel and Hardy were characters, weren't they? And Arthur Treacher and Eric Blore. Frank Morgan was a great comic actor. We all recognize Charlie Chaplin's comic tramp character as a classic. There are so many of them."

Our Friday night chat was, simply put, food for the soul. Even better than my Cabernet and Larry's chocolate chip cookies. Thanks to Breen, SCH, Tituba, Larry, Polychrome and Aunt Clara for being there. For those of you who care to check out the new additions to my 'scrapbook', go to http://communities.msn.ca/MGCNews to see two new features: 'Tidbits' and 'Nasty Stuff'. I've also added dozens of new photos over the past week. And for those of you who are able to, leave a message on the messageboard. - Broph: We're sending good thoughts your way and hoping your dad will be in tiptop shape sooner than even he could imagine.

If they can show I Dream of Jeannie colourised, why not show the colourised (from B/W) first two years of 'Bewitched' that were shown on Canada's Prime TV? It's time to let Channel 4 know what we think! UK Bewitched fans can contact C4 as follows: Tel: 020 7306 8333 (Viewer Enquiries) Viewer Enquiries Channel 4 Television 124 Horseferry Road London SW1P 2TX I've also started a message thread ('Colourised Jeannie, why not Bewitched?') at: http://www.channel4.com/c4info/index_r4.html So come on, if enough of us contact C4, we can see the first 2 seasons of Bewitched! I was reading an interview given to Shannen Doherty, who plays Prue, one of the 3 witches in Charmed. I thought you guys might be interested in something she said.....The interviewer asked her, "Who would win in a fight - Prue Halliwell, who you play ... or Sabrina, the Teenage Witch?"......and Shannen answered, "I'm not sure - Sabrina's had her powers longer, and Prue is still breaking hers in. But I'd rather take her on than Samantha from Bewitched. She'd make dust out of me."....WOOHOO Samantha

As everyone knows, Agnes Moorehead died 27 years ago today. I remember reading about it in the newspaper the next day. I still have the story; I will post it in my 'electronic scrapbook' one of these days. The day after that, at school a good friend of mine asked me if I'd heard about Endora. I told her I'd read it in the paper; she had as well, and we were both surprised to learn her age (67 sounds really old when you are as young as we were then). I always remember my friend saying with a rather wistful voice, "I guess she was mortal after all."

Hey, witches, mortals and others - forgot to mention the other day that chat would be difficult for me this past Friday - getting some things ready for my father's surgery on Tuesday and time was a little tight. It's a follow-up to what he had done in January - we're not anticipating any prombles, but prayers are welcome, as always. Time will tell about this Friday night - we'll just have to see, since he'll likely still be in the hospital then. I'll check in as I can on the board in the meantime.

A few managed to get into the chat room on Friday night, but it is really disappointing that it is increasingly more difficult to get into it, and then to stay in without being zapped out. It was really cool to see you, Sir Cousin Henry. I really enjoyed talking trivia with you, though as I told you, I fear I wasn't very helpful! - Aunt Clara: in your honour, I posted a new article on my website. When you get into the 'welcome' page, click on the link down the left hand side titled "Article #8". Also, I added a photo of 'your' Bill in the Family Life album (click on Photos, then Family Life). I also added numerous other photos this weekend, and a new addition in the TV GUIDE closeups section. - Tituba: I know you don't bite (but sometimes one's bark is worse than one's bite!) It was nice to see you on Friday night, and a shame your visit was so brief.

Tituba: I'm so glad to see you back! How was your trip? Did you bring me anything? Just teasing. I hope it was fun and full of magic. Of course it would've been double fun had I been along...Everybody: This fall the WB is adding two new witch shows. The first is a spin-off of 'Sabrina' called 'Witchright Hall'. It's about Sabrina's bratty cousin Amanda's life at a school for wayward witches. On www.zap2it.com they say it's a mixture between 'Sabrina' and 'The Facts of Life'. There was all ready a kick-off show for it on 'Sabrina' a couple weeks ago. It has potential. The other show is called 'Misadventures of Fiona Plum' about a spoiled young British witch who is banished by her father to Seattle to work as a nanny for a typical American family until she learns humility. Her father also restricts her spell casting to three spells a day. This one stars Kelly Brook and let me tell you she is going to be added to the roster of SEXY WITCHES if this show flies, because she is a sexy witch! Of course, nobody compares to the original sexy witch Ms. Elizabeth Montgomery, isn't that right Larry Tate? But Ms. Brook sure can try...

Actually, Herbie J did tell an AM story to start the interview (of course I asked about the Goddess first) but it was one we'd already heard, about how she didn't originally want to do the show etc. He did agree however that she was a total Goddess, the most beautiful, talented, intelligent, sublime and all around magnificent woman to ever walk the earth...oh wait...I think I was the one who said all that (g)...but he didn't disagree so that means he agreed right...hmmm..comeon now, I can't hear you :-)....AM Quote for the day: "I think anyone in the profession should do this (tour colleges and universites giving readings and lectures). Of course, I realize there are a great number of professional actors who are not equipped to do this because they don't have the background. Also, they are incapable of appealing to young people and simplifying what young people should know."

First let me say that Herbie J is a positively delightful warlock. The fact that he loves and admires the show and the people behind it as much as we do makes me not quite so jealous of him for getting to meet EM, DY, DS, DW, and Edwina's Bill. He talked about what the show meant to him as a kid growing up, and he talked about how after six months of trying to get w/EM (both DS and DW told him they would not talk to him unless EM did) he came home from work one day and there was a message on his machine saying "Hi Herbie, this is Lizzie Montgomery..." he said he taped it right off the machine and still has it. He also said that when DS called him his call waiting went off and it was EM wanting to know if DS had called him yet. He said it was surreal, knowing that he was on the phone w/both Samantha AND Darrin (Derwood). His DW story was even funnier, he was at EM's house and she said that she was expecting a messenger at 4 so she'd have to excuse herself briefly then. 4 came and the doorbell rang and she got up to "take care of her business". Herbie J was sitting there and suddenly in walks David White! He said he was astonished and EM was laughing...they all sat on the patio and talked and Herbie J said it was surreal again, sitting on Elizabeth Montgomery's patio w/Samantha and Larry. He also said that he is working on a new telefilm about EM's life, and that his biography of her will be published in 2004, so that it coincides with the 50th anniversary of the premiere of Bewitched...he also mentioned that Sony has quite a few things planned for this event as well (yay!) So those are the highlights. Anyone who wants a copy of the interview please email me offline and I will send you a CD.

**SCH**: Well, I'm glad I don't won't have to use the omni-directional three-dimensional vectoring cadmium shielded computer for location analysis to find you again. I should've known you were on the moon. I wasn't able to listen to the interview as my dear sweet mother decided to have a birthday today and I and the family were out celebrating with her. Any good gossip that we heard? I do know that Herbie said the book wouldn't be out until June, which is somewhat of a bummer but I suppose we've waited this long, what's a few more months, huh? Anyone who listened please share what if anything you learned, especially you Endora as you were the interviewer.

The reception wasn't great, but, still, was definitely a tribute to AM, EM, BA, and the BW show! I mean, what would one expect listening all the way from the Moon? he he he ....... TITUBA: Glad you are having fun in the Magic Kingdom, er, uh, Queendom, as earlier mentioned! AUNT CLARA: I thought that I saw your umbrella flying around lost. I sent it on its way back to you! Lots of Love, Henry.

So Tituba is off spreading her magic in the magic kingdom is she? I suspect it will be called the magic Queendom now! BTW, I just found out that AMC will air a new documentary about "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte" (which starred the Goddess and was the last film she made before Bewitched) on Saturday, May 12, 5:30 pm.

Larry Tate: The article doesn't say anything about whether Liz passed up the role or the passed on her. The other day I was in the bookstore and found a book all about the Dick Van Dyke Show. I looked Lizzie's name up in the index but they didn't have anything. They did have something about Johnny Carson though. They said he was briefly considered. I think that maybe they had mentioned Liz's name at a pre-production meeting but never really did anything about it...Everyone: You should all go to Vic's Bewitched Site as he has new BW promos up such as one for a Corvette that looks a lot like Larry's yellow one. In fact it looks like the younger Larry driving it, you know from 'Serena's Youth Pill', but that would be impossible since that episode didn't air for another four years. There is also a little tag commerical thing that is supposed to be at the end of 'Endora Moves in for a Spell'. It is a picture of the cartoon Samantha and words across the screen say "Next Week Endora's Halloween Party" and Liz's voice says "By all means, please come. Incidentally it's Twitch or Treat." She then giggles. I thought it was rather cool. This little promo can be found under the link to the Aunt Jemima promos. Thanks for sharing these things with us, Vic! These promos definitely need to be included on the BW DVD if, no excuse me, WHEN that happens. I sure wish that the Bewitched Critic had more reviews up too. It seems centuries since the last ones were posted. If you're reading Bewitched Critic, PLEASE write so more. We're dying here!

Hi everyone! Sorry I missed the chat! I had to fly to Dallas by way of Jupiter to see some old and dear friends. I had a wonderful time and now am back to work (sigh). Glad everyone got their "Christmas" presents ok, and I have the chat on my schedule for this Friday, though it is Good Friday so I don't know if that's convenient for everyone else. Big Dave I also have that N@N magazine and love it, though had they continued to publish (especially now that all their shows stink) the magazine probably would have gone downhill right along w/Nick. Larry: Bowing and scraping to the Queen...way to go...now add me to your list (LOL). AM Quote for the day: "It takes a long time to be discovered and get a break, and that is disappointing to the actor. He expects fame overnight, and you can't get fame that way. Sometimes it takes your whole lifetime. And sometimes you don't get it at all."

Babs, Skip, Breen, Larry Tate: It was great chatting with you guys the other night. Hopefully I will make it next Friday. Polychrome: Devastated to have missed you! But there will be other times...BTW Skip and Larry I found where I had read about EM & Johnny Carson being considered for the lead roles on 'The Dick Van Dyke Show'. It was in N@N's 10th Anniversary Magazine which was published in 1995. Did anybody else buy it? I thought it was cool all though there wasn't nearly enough BW, but then again there never is. It was dedicated to the memory of Elizabeth Montgomery. I'll tell you all what references to BW were made: The first article contains a synposis of what some of the tv stars did before they made it to their big role. There is a picture of AM in her 'Citizen Kane' role. It also mentions that DY played a hired gun on Alfred Hitchcock Presents...One page is devoted to the different names given to Durwood by his in-laws with different cutouts of DY's head pasted all over. There is also a mini-article on that page about where the twitch came from how Sam would magically clean the kitchen. A small picture of Sam circa 1965 with her arms raised is there...the first couple pages have a timeline that runs across the bottom and when it gets to 1964 there is a tiny picture of the opening credits and it says "BW premiers. Samantha and darrin are the first tv couple to share a double bed." When it gets to 1972 it says "Last episode of BW"...there is a layout of all the TV 'hippies' starting with Maynard G. Krebs. When discussing the 'way-out weirdos' of the people of Laugh-In in 1968 they show a sexy picture of Serena from "Serena's Youth Pill" and it says "That same year, the problem spread to the east coast when Samantha Stephens' turned-on go-go girl cousin, Serena, shocked the straight-laced town of Westport, CT"...There's an article about the fashion of classic TV and fashion designer Todd Oldham says 'He also loves BW's Samantha. "Her suits were wonderful, and when she was Serena, her cousin, she dressed divine!" The mag also asked designers to name who would be in their Best Dressed Hall of Fame. Todd says Samantha and Endora; Isaac Mizrahi also says Sam; Daisy Von Furth agrees as well...There is an article about the critics first reactions to shows which includes The New York Daily News' review from the day after the premiere episode of BW:"Sweet 'spell' of success...a winner!" Included in this article are star shaped cutouts of Durwood and Sam's eyes as well as a little picture of Sam...there is a fake newspaper that has articles about Gladys Kravitz being arrested on charges of voyeurism and Larry Tate retiring to play golf...There is an insert containing the schedule of N@N's 37 Greatest Episodes Ever. They showed 'Speak the Truth'. Along with that insert are five bookmarks, one for each day of Block Party Summer. The Bewitched Be-Wednesdays (I miss it so much!) bookmark shows a close up of Samantha. The following article gives suggestions of how to through a block party for each shows night. On BW night they suggest playing Pin the Finger on Tabitha's Nose and serving foods such as chili, stew, or meatballs in a cauldron...There's an article about N@N promotions including The Magic Hour when viewers voted by 58% that Sam is more powerful than Jeannie...Remember Dr. Will Miller? He has an article and a couple of the questions he suggests as one explores themself through tv is "On BW did you prefer DY or DS? What do you think this says about you? Does the question make you blush or feel uncomfortable? What does that mean?"...at the end of the magazine there is a quiz to do which you would send in to receive a N@N Anniversary Pin. One of the questions asks which TV birth never happened. One of the wrong answers was 'Samantha had Tabitha'. The right answer was 'Jeannie had Tony Jr.' So I guess there was a lot about BW, but like I said before not enough. There was a reply card in the middle which asked if they were to produce the magazine four times a year who would you like to see on the next cover. I wrote EM's name in big letters and in the space for additional comments I said there needed to be more BW. But I suppose they must've not got much of a response as this was the only N@N magazine produced...Endora: Even though I thanked you privately I wanted to thank you publicly for the beautiful magnet of AM in her green dress. It's my favorite picture of her.

Broph, the chat room is fine. The only slight hassle we've experienced during the past several weeks is difficulty logging in. We often get a message saying something to the effect of "Maximum number of chatters reached. You are being disconnected/logged out," at which point you have to try again until you can manage to get in. This, as I say, has only been happening the past 2 or 3 weeks. Aside from that, it's great.

Your speaking in Italian reminds me of the Bewitched episode "Business Italian Style", which reminds me of Endora in the bathtub, which reminds me...never mind! Jude: Sorry you couldn't chat, it is hard to get in sometimes. I managed to get around 3 hours in before my PC kicked me off, and then I was trapped without also...Everyone: Welcome newcomers, it's great to see new faces (names) on the board. AM Quote for the day: "The more preparation one has, the off he will be. I had a college education with a number of degrees. I worked in the theater in the summertime and went to school in the winter. I took everything that I possibly could in drama. After I got out of the university, I went to New York and auditioned for the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. At that time the head of the school was a Mr. Charles Jehlinger, who was a marvelous teacher. He said to me, "You don't need to come to this school. You've had a lot of training. Go out and get a job." I thought he didn't want me! I thought, "Oh, I can't stand it. I 'm not very good." Tears began rolling down my cheeks, and he said, "Well, if that's the way you feel, we'd love to have you, but you don't have to have us."

Hmmmm. It's quiet - it's tooooo quiet. Actually, we're at the calm before the storm. In 2 weeks I have a repeat of Thanksgiving shenanigans with the family returning for a holiday. This time Easter dinner. I'm already getting the house in order because next weekend is shopping detail. I'll have to make sure I can watch a couple of episodes on tape to keep me calm. I'm also realizing that my father's surgery is in one month - he's been doing better each week and seems much stronger than he had been! BTW, I have seen Bernie Koppel in those commercials - better than his early commercials, I must say. It seems that actors have less of a promble doing commercials these days - I've never seen anything wrong with it - though it's always good to see them in meatier roles. And to think I didn't place Koppel from his Bewitched appearances when I was younger watching "The Love Boat".
