Hello Friends, this is finally Fairy Godmother. Hope you all had a good Christmas holiday & I have cast a majic spell that 2001 will be a wonderful happy, healthy &"may all your dreams come true" year. Sam R and I spent Christmas Eve watching Christmas time shows of "Bewitched". Santa has asked me to run up to the North Pole with him & help him settle the reindeer till next Christmas. I'd love to - those dear animals need good food and a warm barn. My love to all who love the spirit and majic of Christmas. Fairy Godmother

Must have been a spell Endora cast as it seems that the more board hogging one does the less he/she is seen:) At any rate, thanks for the info about the Paul Lynde E! special and Lizzie being on Alfred Hitchcock Presents. Dalton #1...oops...I meant Durwood, DARRIN #1: Welcome to the board! Yes we discuss all sorts of things relating to Bewitched, everything from our fave episodes to 'witch' episodes Liz was bra-less in:) And like Endora said to Tabitha when she found out her grand-daughter was part of the supernatural "Welcome to the fold!"....I hope everyone is having one heck of a holiday! I sure am. And apparently the nog-loving Queen Tituba is too:) It's been absolutely perfect here with the snow falling all day today and hopefully into the night, the tree is trimmed and the presents are wrapped. The big annual family gathering was yesterday and some that haven't been able to show up for some time were there so it was wonderful. This truly is my favorite time of year and not just because of presents but because we get to celebrate and honor the birth of the Savior. As I was looking at our Nativity set today I was thinking of how Mary felt knowing that she had given life to the Christ child and maybe thinking/knowing that he was going to give her life, eternal life. How wonderful! And humbling! And Joseph being given the responsibility of raising this boy as well. It's marvelous! I'm thankful for the life of the Savior and His great example and sacrifice. I'm also thankful to have met many people on this board that truly are family! This is a great place in cyber-space. Merry Christmas everyone!

A couple of quotes from two of my favourite Christmas movies: "No man is a failure who has friends" (from 'It's a Wonderful Life'). Many of you are my friends, and I thank God for you. Real friends are people who make you feel worthwhile, people who make you feel you are not a failure. I wish you all a blessed Christmas filled with peace and joy. - The second quote is from 'A Christmas Carol' and it is self-explanatory: "God bless us ... everyone." - Christmas is a holiday about which I've had mixed feelings for many years. I love the feelings of goodwill and empathy and genuine love that people tend to exhibit at this time of year more so than at other times. The religious aspect of this holiday is meaningful to me personally. But I confess there have been many times when I've wished Christmas wouldn't come, simply because with Christmas comes the sharp pain of missing people you loved who are no longer here. Of course with time the pain becomes a little duller, but it never quite goes away. Even if you have been fortunate enough never to have experienced this sort of pain, you can't help but remember all of those wonderful people from 'Bewitched' who most of us never met but many of whom we have grown to love as though they were members of our family. - To those of you who are grieving this Christmas, my wish for you is that God will grant you His special peace which passes all human understanding. Whatever your circumstances, whether you are feeling joyful or mournful, may you be truly blessed in the ways that mean most to you this Christmas and in the New Year.

I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone a Merry Christmas - though we don't have the stockings hung by the chimney with care, this is a time when I'm trying to remember family and friends who mean a lot to me. In case anyone is wondering, we do have a slightly-white Christmas in the Salem area - there's not a LOT of snow on the ground, but the freezing weather that we have now guarantees that the snow will last through tomorrow. I hope that everyone has a happy holiday this year.

There is no sense using a show to promote a network that's not on the schedule and a lot of people are noticing this promo and asking "Where's Bewitched?" Some of you may be getting BW via Screen Gems--but my Screen Gems is airing other stuff that shall remain nameless.

Pete: N@N no longer has a license to air Bewitched on a regular basis, they have access to certain episodes when they need them like the Paris episode we saw on T.V. land.

HELLO EVERYONE: Oh yea, I forgot to mention, set those VCR's. On WED. JAN. 17, 2001 A&E's BIOGRAPHY profiles Bewitched's own Uncle "PAUL LYNDE" Arthur in a brand new Biography show. Paul Lynde who was born in 1926 and died in 1982 was a stage, film and tv star, known for his sardonic wit, notably on the old Hollywood Squares, but will always be best remembered as everyone's favorite Uncle Arthur on Bewitched. Again, that's WED. JAN.17, 2001 on A&E. Check your local cable listings for actual air times in yor city. Until next time, take care...

HELLO EVERYONE: Question: What is Nick at Nite doing, showing clips of Bewitched from their NEIGHBORS promo? While watching The Facts Of Life, last night, N@N showed a commercial promoting tv neighbors, with clips of current shows that air on N@N. Included in this promo was Mrs. Kravitz (Sandra Gould) in full color, looking out her window. Also a clip of Darrin and Samantha in her witches costume! So again, I ask, is there something they are not telling us, or has N@N realized that they cannot live without Bewitched? Until next time, take care...

Breen: I too loved Charmed and have all the episodes. I did notice Bernie was in Which Prue Is It Anyway?, they've referred to Bewitched a few times and the episode "I've Got You Under My Skin" reminds me so much of the Crone of Cawdor.

Some of you guys know I am obsessed with 3 TV programs, one of which (naturally) is Bewitched, I'm always surprised when I find a link between them, although it's usually finding someone else who likes 2 of them. One of the other 2 programs is Charmed. Today I was watching a season 1 episode, and I found another link between Charmed and Bewitched. Bernie Koppell was in it!!!!!! Just thought I'd share.

Endora: So glad you have heard of this play, I almost got it right! My Mom said she went to an afternoon performance at the Birmingham Theatre (she always wanted to be an actress) she went by herself and sat in the Circle (I think this is like a balcony above the rest). It was already dark when she got in there and when the lights came on she was the Only One in The Circle! I guess the play wasn't that popular in the afternoon. There were a few more people on the floor level and everyone was invited back stage to meet the cast. She shook Agnes Moorehead's hand and she thanked my Mom for coming! Then my Mom got a little light headed thinking about Charles Boyer. I'm so glad that I could share my little bit of excitement with you! Take good care and I will keep talking to Mom!

Barbie: The Princess (and others) are right, I need details and more details (LOL). Tell your mother for me that she is a extremely lucky woman and the object of my undying envy! Big Dave: Paul Lynde huh? Well, we're getting closer....maybe they'll do AM next...I guess we can just keep nagging...I mean, asking....and few spells....I mean prayers...wouldn't hurt either...AM Quote for the day, in honor of Barbie and her Mom: "Don Juan in Hell lasted four years in the early fifties. It was one of the great successes of our era and toured all over the country. It was one of the most exciting pieces you could ever have in the theater! And what caused it? Paths crossed, and evidently the chemistry was right!"

Happy Holidays from very snowy Ontario! Just wanted to share a little bit of news which I found fasinating. I was watching my favorite show the other day, it was so lovely with Adam as a baby at Christmas and my Mom noticed what I was watching. My dear old Mom is 81 but has a fabulous memory, and told me of the time she met Agnes Moorhead, Charles Laughton and Charles Boyer at Birmingham Theatre in 1950 or 51 doing a play small play called The Devil in Don Juan or something! Well, I could hardly believe my ears! She said it was an awful play but that meeting Agnes was an absolute thrill and she couldn't believe how beautiful and elegant she was. Actually, my Mom went to meet Charles Boyer because she had this huge crush on him! Anyway, that was my thrilling news and I wish everyone a wonderful holiday full of love and joy!

Hello everyone~ just wanted to tell you about the coolest gift I recieved tonight...it's a Bewitched cookie jar. It is rather tall with Sam on her broom flying into a half moon and the base is the city that she always flew over as the cartoon character in the beginning of the show. So cool...I haven't seen one before. Endora: I will be checking your suitcase when you leave here in March!

Nice additions/updates to your page, Vic! The new photos are very nice (I especially like the one of Dick York's family), as is the 1971 Agnes Moorehead magazine article. Your page always has that glossy, exquisite look, and Christmas updates make it look even more so. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that the long-ago- promised new reviews are nowhere to be seen. Ah well, there's always the New Year!

Princess - hope you had a wonderful happy birthday. And thanks to you and all who sent me birthday greetings. Yup, it was the most difficult birthday I've had to date, but I'm trying to keep focused on the positive things in life, such as having some good on-line friends. One good thing, though - someone asked me a trivia question today and while searching for one of my mother's Christmas CDs to get an answer I came across a document that my father and I had been looking for during these last couple of months, plus a big stash of photos from prior Broph generations - some from the big fire in Salem (Endora - there must be pictures from that time in that Salem book). Some of the photos had faded _terribly_, but some were in good shape and had notes on the back. Some pictures were a bit more recent, such as my little league days - those pictures showed some changes in our yard's landscaping! My father and I sat on a couch for over an hour looking at them - not a bad way to spend some time. Thanks again for the wishes, guys!

Hi everyone! I'm so happy to hear that the King chose today to make his fashion statement! I hope it wasn't too cold for him though! I hope SCH isn't buried under a mountain of snow....honestly, when will Arthur ever learn that some things just AREN'T funny? Quote for the day is from EM not AM, because it was so good I wanted to post it, it's in response to a reporter's question as to whether or not Bewitched was a gay allegory: "Don't think that didn't enter our minds at the time. We talked about it on the set...that this was about people not being allowed to be what they really are. If you think about it, Bewitched is about repression in general and the frustration and trouble it can cause. It was a neat message to get across to people at the time in a subtle way."

skip,i think in all likely hood the respective parents just didn't fit into the scripts the writers happened to come up with for the xmas episodes.SAM'S parents would not want to have anything to do with such a mortal occasion & yet would maintain a respectful & tactful distance so as to not to disrupt the xmas celebrations of sam & darrin as xmas doesn't have the same negative conitations witch wise that halloween did for ex where sam's parents would have had a very different reaction.re darrin's parents i guess that they just didn't fit those ep.actually the 7th season xmas ep sister's @ heart was very much in keeping with the non-commercial non santa & spiritual side of xmas as that episode seemed to me to represent what xmas & the boss upstairs stands for, peace love & goodwill for all our brother & sisters as we are all brothers even if we are girls, right.the others as well had a spiritual xmas message in them as well to some extent ,especially the 1st & 4th season ones.remember santa's message to little billy mummy in the 1st season about our hearts remembering the beauty that our eyes have seen.did you know that liz was going to do a series called poker alice in 77,go to www.yahoo.com & type in poker alice & in the first website you will learn all about the rea life person & cross between belle starr & etta place that the show would have been based on.elisabeth taylor & george hamilton starred in an 87 tv movie version based on the same character.SERENA as santa now that is what i call a stocking stuffer,HO! HO! HO!.as to whether i have been a good little boy or not this year, that depends on your perspective according to SERENA & i never question her,AH!,requests.

Skip, you just gave me two new ideas for Bewitched stories! Stop it! I don't have time to write! I think a possibility is that Darrin and Samantha let the Stephens know they wanted to spend Christmas by themselves and Endora would have found their mortal celebration a little too quiet and mundane. On the other hand, the writers may have just missed the boat! To all my Bewitched friends, I just got my computer back after getting it despelled. It had the Nova Virus and now I have been told not to accept anymore emails with attachments. I am sorry to miss the things you send me, but "He who must be obeyed" has spoken! Tituba, did you see the "Whose Line.." a couple of weeks ago with the Munchkin song? It was great!

Hi All! Hope Everything is well with Everyone! Not everyone in Hollywood celebrates Christmas...It would have been nice to hear that they would stop by the "grands" later. At the risk of sounding off the wall..... When was the last time you heard a witch worshiping the savior? That's why we learned more of the commercial Christmas... Santa Clause, trees, decorations, elves, and such... when Maurice popped in he either arrived with gifts or zapped them in.... it was always reason to celebrate when Maurice came along.... Holidays were more learning than anything else. Thanksgiving... trips in time to see what happened or experiences that taught what things were about or for....Christmas pushed "Santa" it was easier to do that than try to explain the real meaning behind something most in Hollywood didn't believe or follow.... Hey, at least they had trees and went to visit Santa...even though a highly diluted Christmas was mentioned! Phyllis and her sick headaches... poor dear! Samantha Could have given her certificates to cure her headaches and as needed pull them out, then she would have to explain too much..... Stay Bewitched Everyone! Hugs to ALL (BFE)

I just watched the 1967 Christmas show, and when Samantha asked Mr. Mortimer to spend Christmas with them, something occurred to me: isn't it odd that in all four of the 'Bewitched' Christmas shows, Samantha and Darrin never spend the holiday with their parents. It's odd because the parents are established characters on the show, and it's odd too because neither Darrin nor Samantha have siblings with whom these parents could presumably spend the holiday. Of course it would have been tedious to have Phyllis I-have-a-sick-headache around at Christmas, but they might have at least made some reference to perhaps seeing the parents later in the day.

Hi Everyone! Hope Everything is well with everyone! Endora: I disagree with your opinion that it is IMPOSSIBLE to find a Godly woman. I do believe Godly women are rare. However, I do believe Godly women exist. Re Belle Starr: Her daughter had a deep respect and regard for her mother. That is as it should be... Our Immortal Beloved are and will always be regarded with the highest honors we can bestow... ALL are sights to behold, none moreso than that MY wonderfully talented, ONE of a Kind Bill Asher! I realize how we each adore our ENTIRE Beloved Bewitched Family! Our Lizzie gave life and depth to many characters of history thus assuring a placing for herself in history as well. Performances to envy, yet performances to totally enjoy! "Witch" we DO! Hugs to ALL! Stay Bewitched Everyone! (BFE)

Aunt Clara: A rare find today? More like an IMPOSSIBLE find today! I just finished reading a book about "Belle Starr" and of course the whole way through it I thought of EM since she brought this legend to life so admirably in the film about her. Anyway, after Belle was gunned down her daughter had this poem engraved on her tombstone: "Shed not for her the bitter tear, nor give the heart to vain regret, tis but the casket that lies here, the gem that filled it sparkles yet." I thought that was appropriate for EM (and all our dearly departed BW family) as well, don't you?

According to my daily calender (witch the Princess got me for Christmas last year): "Actress Agnes Moorehead, born on this day in 1906, is perhaps best known for her role in the long-running television comedy series "Bewitched". Nominated for five academy awards, Moorehead appeared in over 60 films, and made her movie debut in 1941 in "Citizen Kane."

I know I won't get a chance to post tomorrow, so I'll do my "Today in History" spot tonight. Tomorrow in history: Agnes Moorehead was born Most sources say 1906, but there is some discrepansy in this matter (and not just from bogus sources!). In any case, it matters little ... whether she was born 1900, 1906, 1910 or 1922 doesn't diminish her contribution to the entertainment media.

Big Dave: Yes, nonpaymentitis is a pain isn't it? But the cure (overtime) is worse (LOL)! Lucky for me I don't have to bother with that mortal nonsense about nose to the grindstone, shoulder to the wheel and feet planted firmly on the ground...Aunt Clara: My! Your Bill has certainly been busy lately (lucky for us too, cause he always has great memories to share!!) Maybe one day he'll drop over to Florida to do an (ahem) interview w/you! SCH: You are indeed lucky that Zamina has chosen to allow you to use her email. I think you need to give her beluga cavier to show how grateful you are, and then kiss her pretty princess paws....remember, cats were worshipped once, and they've never forgotten it...AM Quote for the day: "People will work better when someone in authority comes on the set and says "It's marvelous! Enjoy it because you're going to be wonderful working together!" It's that kind of thing that keeps the dough together, otherwise, it becomes flaky and will not adhere."

Hi Everyone! Hope Everything is WELL with everyone! I must say, that I should have waited B4 I said Thank You to MY Bewitched Buds for Witching me a Bewitching Birthday! I shall now Thank You one and all for your sweet witches! Zamaina: Thank you for allowing our SCH to use your e-mail addy! Cats are so very Kewel! Please tell SCH that I did indeed get the lovely cards. I had an inbox full of balloons. It is such a joy. Brophy: One of the things we have here in this Bewitching Household (beside a wonderful cook) is what we call Birthday Week! Surprises everyday! No time for sleeping, napping or dozing. Breen: Thank You! Remember I have Birthday week, so no "belatedness"...I am about to gain back every ounce that I lost with my AHEM....modified munching habits. Dr. Bombay: You made me laugh re nonpaymentitis. Do tell how you discovered that there was such a wicked vapor lock on the paymentenvelopethathid itself under such a wicked paper weight? I hope you have thoroughly spoken to that paper weight! Am having a simply wonderful Birthday week! Thank you for mentioning MY Bill Asher(sigh...) I just love to hear or read of, for, about and by MY Bill Asher! Thank you too To: "Those" who chose to remain quite regarding you know what! I appreciate it more than you realize! I actually flew on an airplane the other day, just to see how mortals live. I have to say that "our way" is by far the better way. If you must travel do so by flying... it is the only way to fly! (I am still wondering where my "freeze the scandal spell" spell landed...) It is pretty scary that it just might have worked! Well, I must be going now. Oh gosh where is it that I have to go? Oh yes! I remember now. Has anyone one asked any of you how many "seconds" there are in a year? Oh, now... I really must go! Stay Bewitched Everyone! Hugs to One and ALL! C U! (BFE)

Yoo-hoo! Samantha (and everybody else)! I'm back! Oh it seems like such a long time! But wouldn't you know it the magical internet at my house just up and quit one day. After utilizing my trusty computerized hexometer I diagnosed it as primary nonpaymentitis. But now things are back to normal. Polychrome: I never answered your question about my Harry Potter fascination. I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan and a collector. I just wish that I could diagnose J.K. Rowling's lack of writing on Book V which she replaces with countless interviews. I'd cure that in an instant if I could. Aunt Clara & Locutus: I hope the birthdays were absolutely SMASHING!!! Everybody: I also watched the E! thing about IDOJ. I was pleased to here from Aunt Clara's Bill what Liz felt about IDOJ all though I think my feelings coincide more with what AM said. I think rather than being bitter about it like EM I would've brushed it off like AM. Someone said imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I did notice that E! was mistaken when they said BW was #2 for the 1963-64 season. It really was 1964-65. I'm glad that E! devoted TWO hours to BW though. One hour just simply isn't enough...I also had a very bewitching experience this past weekend. The friends and I were furniture shopping and we happened to be next to a thrift store so we went in there just to see what treasures we could find. As we were looking through the old clothes I looked up at the wall across the building where pictures were hanging and saw one that looked quite familiar all though I couldn't place it until I got up close. It turned out to be a print of the painting entitled "Girl with Broom" the same one that is hanging in the entry hall at 1164 during the 3rd and 4th seasons I believe! It was framed and everything PLUS it was on sale for 50% off so the total sale was $7!! Of course I bought it...it's one step closer to building 1164 for myself:) I was kindof hoping I would find some marking on it that said 'Property of Screen Gems' or something but alas and alack...

OK. OK. Guess what, everyone? Our ISP is having prombles again. Yep. That's right! This time, they are blaming Novell for the error. Oh, and Novell is aware of the promble, but doesn't know what to do about it. Oh! Isn't that marvelous? Well, we have been instructed NOT to use our email address, so we are now using the above email address. Please make the corrections in your address book. We are fed up with this. When we asked when the corrective measures would take place, they didn't know. They informed us that Novell is their provider, and it is Novell's promble. When I asked about any deductions, due to the prombles with the email, I was briskly told that the monthly charge was for ISP service....the email is free! Well, that's one way to get around it, eh? Nevertheless, please use the above listed email address for us (Doug and Scott), as Zamaina has graciously allowed us to use hers. (Zamaina is one of our cats. You know, the pretty princess kitty!) We are hoping that everyone understands about this promble. I must say that everyone here is more understanding than MY own family! My family has threatened to Block us unless we fix the "glitch"! WOW! I understand that when you keep receiving the same email over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again, but, surely you KNOW that we wouldn't be sending it to you over and over and over and over again. Oh, well! I think that Auntie Endora said it best when she emailed us about this promble. She mentioned that Uncle Arthur was up to his pranks, again. She's probably right. Although, those mortals at the Novell system sure are running a close second to dear ole Dad, I must say! Scott enjoyed his birthday witches from everyone that sent him one. We hope that when we sent dear Aunt Clara bewitching birthday witches for her birthday anniversary, it didn't keep cloning itself! Uh, er, well........I guess in this situation, it would be nice to continue to receive Birthday witches filled with Love, eh? So, please make the necessary changes in your add. book, ok? Now, all that is left is for Novell to correct the promble. Oh, and for someone (any suggestions?) to knock dear ole Dad out of a tree, or zap him in a fountain for this trickery! Lots of Love to you all! D n S

IDOJ was also poor in another way - they didn't have the Goddess playing Jeannie's mother! Speaking of the Goddess, this is what she had to say about Jeannie: "Naturally, they think this is what people want now, so instead of looking for other ideas, which isn't so easy ... well, you know what I mean. Just remember, however, that the original always wears better than the copy, and we already have our audience." Locutus: Happy Birthday to you..." You're a great guy, though your father in law leaves something seriously to be desired :-) Just give him some cake and set him in a fountain and your party will be fine...

WELL, our miss lizzie sure had it right re her views towards IDOJ which according to BILL ASHER,were that it was a weak imitation & a blatent ripoff of bewitched(which it clearly was).bill said that liz's nose was out of joint & that she was really upset & resented it terribily how the show was a ripoff of the bewitched premis even down to the storylines & plots & scripts.in 85 liz still bristled @ IDOJ ,a show show she still considered a weak imitation of bewitched.bill said that @ the time of the beginning of bewitched that they didn't think anyone would ever copy it(although in bewitched forever he says sydney sheldon called him about a ripoff of bewitched he was going to do & asked if it was ok with bill who gave him the green light.)sydney denied that IDOJ was a rip off stateing that as far as he knew he never read a script from bewitched & that they never read a script of IDOJ(yeah right & i have some slightly used chads from florida i could sell you for a song)so that therefore neither show could have been a ripoff of the other & that they only had a parallel as fantasy's.clearly sydney copied bewitched as you can point to a bewitched ep for almost every jeannie ep there was.any way we all know that barbara eden,JEANNIE & IDOJ were only poor imitations of LIZ,SAMANTHA & BEWITCHED.I don't blame liz for feeling so mad as how would you like to write a book putting your blood sweat & tears into it & have someone come along & only change the title a bit & then try to claim it as their own.IAN try www.ebay.com under TABATHA re your videos.KAT that bewitched guiter is going to be the coolest.how about another chat @ 9.30 pm est this fri.,i'll be there with chaps on,WOW there big fellow, hi yoah silver away!!!!!!!!!!!!.

HELLO EVERYONE: Tonight E! ENTERTAINMENT aired another episode of their TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY. This one hour program was the subject of I DREAM OF JEANNIE, which mentions alot about BEWITCHED. There was even a brand new interview with William Asher, who was featured through out the show. The program mentioned that Elizabeth Montgomery was not fond of the Jeannie show and thought it was a rip off of Bewitched. Although Bill Asher and Jeannie creator Sidney Sheldon worked for different networks, they remained friends over the years and Bill even recalled the time that the studio called upon him to direct the reunion movie I Dream Of Jeannie: 15 Years Later. Bill mentioned that he was not married to Elizabeth anymore when the tv movie came around in 1985 and said, "had he still been married to Elizabeth, she would of killed him for doing it!" If you would like to see this interview, check your local listings, as E! ENTERTAINMENT will be repeating THE TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORY: I DREAM OF JEANNIE in the next few days. Until next time, take care...

Today's addition to my movie library is "The Swan" which was Grace Kelly's second-last film and features Agnes Moorehead as a flamboyant monarch, and Estelle Winwood (Aunt Enchantra) as Grace's aunt. To be honest though, the movie is deadly dull until about the last half hour when Agnes has her scene. It's almost as though she appears on the scene to wake everybody out of their stupor. - Tomorrow's history note: David White died 10 years ago, on November 27, 1990, at the age of 74.

At the point where you are naming the chat(create) we have been using "36th Anniversary"....Anniversary somehow turns out to be the password. (All we can see is 36th...) And we weren't interrupted by those AHEM.... with intentions that we were not interested... It just "sort of" happened when the room was ready and up.....(Brophy probably did it already tee hee hee) Just as long as we all know that "Anniversary" is the password... we can chat uninterrupted. Polychrome: You did a marvelous job in setting up the room! You are wonderful! Try it again... you can do it! (Whispering now so no one here at home can hear me) Well, His Lordship has already kicked me out of "His Kitchen" so that is how I get to be here for a few.....he wasn't suppose to do that until tomorrow morning....(I must have done something really right earlier this time)... tee hee hee! Oh, so tired of the local (Florida)news I changed the channel. Another channel had more of the same... one commentator said that if a particular person won the AHEM.... (prize?) he would be forever known as the "dimple" prez.... well... it was worth the five seconds to hear that one.... that I stayed for another few....can hardly get annoyed when it is funny! The jokes are flying... and most of them are quite good! The one floating around that we have lost our Independance.. and would be under the Queen of England effective immediately.... with taxes retro active from 1776... made the rounds so many times... it is very good! I maintain regardless the errors I make from this point in time on.... (they will whisper... that's okay, she is from Florida...) If you see spelling errors... I meant to do that! Hugs to Everyone! Stay Bewitched All! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! G-d Bless! (BFE)

Did anyone see 'Bewitched' on Prime this afternoon? It was episode 157, "One Touch of Midas" (a.k.a. "The Fuzz"). Prime broadcast the end credits with the cartoon Samantha and Darrin sitting on the Chevrolet logo! Pretty cool if you ask me! It's the second time in several weeks they've had a different cartoon than the usual Samantha with a big smile and arms at her side. Larry Tate: Friday night at 9:30 for a chat sounds good to me. Thanks for the info regarding Dick York on ET, it's on in a few minutes here.

Dr. Bombay-are you a Harry Potter fan, or just an invester in collectibles? Larry, nice to know we didn't drive you away last week. Don't know if I will be chatting on Friday or not. I hope to, but I think somebody else better set up the room so we can get it without all the interruptions. That was the first time I'd ever set a room up and I didn't know what I was doing. To all you Bewitched fans-Happy Thanksgiving!

Today on Rosie's show she had Samuel L. Jackson as a guest and they played a game called Same Name Game. She showed him at least 10 different pictures of people really fast that have the name Sam in their name such as Sam Donaldson, Sam Malone from Cheers AND Sam Stephens. It was one of the earlier pictures of Samantha from the first season. Unfortunately Sam Jackson didn't recognize her but I still thought it was cool to see Samantha on Rosie. lee: Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

I just purchased a Harry Potter collectibles book and it contains a brief history of witches and wizards in all forms of media including t.v. This is what is said about BW: "The 1960s television show Bewitched prompted girls all around the country to wiggle their noses and try to cast spells. Samantha, the show's main character, is a perky blond housewife who is also a witch. She uses her spells to get herself and her mortal husband, Darrin, out of (and into!) all sorts of comical situations. Add a medling mother-in-law, a nosy neighbor and assorted warlocks and spells, and you get a popular sitcom that remained on the air for eight seasons."

Where I work we have CNBC running all the time - if you've never seen it, they've got a ticker running all the time at the bottom of the screen. I kept seeing this one ticker symbol that reminded me of something, but since it was out of context I just couldn't make the connection. I'm sure you guys will get it quicker than I did - the ticker is "SCH".

Breen: Usually the Friday night chat is not on the harpiesbizarre site, it's usually right here (the chat link from Broph's page). It's the second option ("the chat we've been using for a couple of weeks now"), and it usually starts anywhere between 9 and 9:30 EST. I'll pop in around that time, if anyone would like to join, that would be great. We usually call the room "36th Anniversary" (sometimes it shows up as just "36th"), and if it asks for a password to get in, it is "anniversary". I've never done the Harpies Bizarre chat, I'm sure it's excellent, but I personally would rather type than talk.

Hi ALL! Hope everything is well with everyone! Tituba: I don't kkkkknowwww how I remember myy drrreamsss. That one was SPACTULAR even for a bumbling witch! Most of the time I remember my dreams. Some I like and some I don't. The flying suit???? You mean the one I left Agnes' house? LOL.. I must have left it there because when I got here, I didn't have it! Hoope Agnes doesn't think me rude leaving a specially fitted flying suit she had given me! What was really funny about the whole dream is the way it ended. I knew I had to get going... not all of my dreams have such closure (Wish it didn't have to end, I guess I had that four letter word on my mind after all!) What is all this nonsense about Petticoat Junction? Oh my, I mean petitions and injunctions! I have to wonder where that freeze the scandle spell ended up....Do you think it landed in spell the candle? Endora: You can chose to ignore whatever you wish. However, the fact remains that phrase came directly from Agnes! So there and double there! :P la la la la la Regarding spending an evening with MY Bill! That would be so GREAT for you! I'd of course want to hear all about it! MY Bill might give you a tour and seerrve you some Pepsi One! I would prefer to spend the evening with him MYSELF! I'd be happy to gaze into his {light blue (with a bit of green)eyes!} SIGH....and then drool in a ladylike fashion, and hope I wouldn't stutter...if, if he asked me a question... and hope I answered the right question! Well, my friends.... I must be off... Hugs to ALL! Stay Bewitched Everyone! (BFE)

I think Rebecca Asher should be offered the role of Samantha, who else is best qualified? She is so perfect as she must have most if not all of her mom's talents, so let's all get together and get Rebecca to play Samantha and not that Julia Roberts, and I was thinking of Bill Pullman as Darrin and Leslie Neilson as Larry Tate!!! And Bette Midler as Endora, and maybe goldie hawn as aunt Hagatha and Lily Tomlin as Esmermelda!!! Come on dudes let's get our thinking caps on and try to let the studios know that we want Rebecca as Samantha!!

Hi All! Hope EVERYTHING is well with EVERYONE! Endora: I forgot to mention to you that last night er I mean Sunday night I had a dream about Agnes Moorehead. In my dream she gave me a tour of her I guess dressing room. She had over 750 flying suits. They were of varying shades and colors. Very nice designs and quite flowing I might add. Agnes was dressed as Endora. However, she was herself. I was admiring the variety of flying suits, and I told her I was surprised by the amount of duplicate flying suits. She laughed and asked me if I thought she had just a few? I supposed I did. She offered to let me try on a few of them. I told her that while it was a fun prospect, I wouldn't be able to fit in any of them. She told me to go ahead and try one and test and see if it wouldn't fit. I was so afraid of ripping one...The flying suits were in layers. At any rate, as I was attempting to get the first layer on, suddenly it fit me. Agnes waved her hands and it fit me. I was able to get all the layers on. It took about 10 minutes to put all of the layers on. I looked in a mirror, and started laughing. Instead of Agnes shrinking me to fit the flying suit, she stretched the flying suit to fit me! I was disappointed that I was still my size. Agnes told me that she was a witch not a diet guru! At that point I started laughing. It was hilarious! By the way.... Agnes said she preferred to see New Bush's in the White House.... Also, she put her index finger in the air, and then pointed to the right. She asked me if I would like to see some scripts. Not wanting to be rude, or overly anxious I said "You Bet"! Well, Agnes replied that no, she didn't bet. However, she would show me the scripts. In her handwriting (witch I've never seen) were notes on the scripts. How she wanted to play the part, what mood she was in, and the funniest thing is that when she dealt with Dick York, she played with him. When she dealt with Dick Sergeant, she tormented him. I asked her why she did that and she said that she just wanted to have fun! She offered me tea... As a matter of fact it was Earl Grey! Just as I like it. I didn't want to get any tea on the flying suit, so I went to change into whatever the heck it was I was wearing to begin with.... Agnes told me that I could keep the flying suit, she had plenty. I was so amazed by that gesture. More than anything I didn't want to get anything on the suit to spoil it. I tried to get back into my own clothes and they didn't fit. Agnes told me that she shrunk my clothes and if I wanted to get back into them I had to do that on my own(as in lose weight.) Agnes was so darned funny I couldn't stop laughing. She looked at me as Endora in character, and told me that it was no laughing matter. I was surprised at her candor. I think I was shocked too! Truth never hurt anybody (hmmmmm just my feelings).....Agnes took me on a tour and I was feeling rather out of sorts regarding her remark. If I were going to continue sulking she would just let me sulk. LOL... Agnes told me stories about how long it took her to be fitted for her suits, make up in the mornings and her drive to work each day. I asked her about MY Bill. What was he like to work with? A Huge smile came across her face and she remarked that she was aware how much I admire him. "Bill is a tough man to please. He expects nothing less the best from everyone, when dealing with work. Bill is a fun loving man that has a quiet reserve. When children are around Bill is a BIGGER kid than they." Agnes further told me that I am doing well to admire Bill. "He is truly a remarkable man!" (I've often wondered in my waking state what their relationship was like and supposed it was a good one.) The Italian windows on her (I guess) front door were very beautiful. I asked her who cleaned them. She told me that she did! No one touches her windows but her! I started laughing because I did not expect her to tell me that she did her own cleaning. I don't know who I supposed cleaned her window...perhaps a maid or housekeeper.... I told her I had to go, she invited me back again anytime. When I woke up, the dream was so real that I had to think about it. I even got up to check and see if there was a flying suit in my closet. Alas....the only flying suits in my closets are the ones I would have to throw in order to make them fly...it was such a kewel dream! She was a very sweet hostess! I realize this is unusual...I just had to share it! By the way Endora, Agnes finds you amusing. Stay Bewitched Everyone! Hugs to One and ALL! (BFE)

Well Aunt Clara, you've done it again! I heard on the news this morning that they now have a definitive winner in Florida and it is....Calvin Coolidge! Oh yes, and last night power was lost all over the Eastern seaboard, except for one home at 1164 Morning Glory Circle...when the owner of the home, Derwood, I mean Dobbin, I mean Dennis Stephens, was questioned on CNN he mumbled something about Aunt Clara's boyfriend Bill...I mean Aucky, keeping his arms raised and then refused further comment...AM quote for the day: "The desire to make money has always overshadowed the desire to make artistic films in Hollywood, but now (1973) it has increased to a very damaging degree."

Hi All! Hope everything is well with EVERYONE! Queen of Harpies: And Curious: Our Irene Vernon is with the rest of the cast and crew, that went on before her... They are having rehearsals...4/21/98 was the day her journey began. Larry Tate: Umbrella is a perfect LADY! I explained earlier, and you probably didn't see it, because it was so long ago... I was Star Dipping with friends and some of the star next to us.... broke off and sent some stardust Florida way....I think a lot of it landed in a particular area... I put a freeze the star spell on it and I thought it worked. I must have missed and created a freeze the candidate spell instead... Oh, I goofed again! I need help Samantha.... I can't remember the entire spell I used! It went something like ibba dibba yabba dooo may that man say aaah chu. Stardust falling, ballots calling.... keep that dust in limbo until I say un-freeze... and then I sneezed. I said a few things after I sneezed but can't seem to remember if it was: To keep the ballots honest.... have them or make them... fly like the breeze... or if I asked them not to sneeze! Ohhhh, I just don't remember it all... or was it that I sneezed first before I said the spell? It just makes me so ransackling zanfeathering annoyed that I have these days.....I remember putting a spell on scandals too! Oh, I wonder where they landed..... Not to worry! Not to fret... We will have a winner yet! Bows and bonnets, happy sonnets....Hands and feet, machines won't be beat...Count those numbers one by one.... till at last a winner declared! The USA needs a winner today... enie meanie minie moe... grab that Bush and don't let go! It is now time to pray! Gore Gore go away.... don't come back another day till 2016.... Hugs to ALL... Stay Bewitched Everyone! (BFE)

Curious: Unfortunately, Alice Pearce died while Bewitched was still on the air. She unexpectedly died of ovarian cancer and that is why the character of Gladys Kravitz was assumed by Sandra Gould. The list of regular characters still living is rather small these days: Dr. Bombay, the Louise Tates (Irene Vernon >>I think she is still alive!<< and Kasey Rogers), Esmeralda, Tabitha, and Adam.

On Today's episode of the soap opera, "Passions", the character named "Hecuba" is a powerful witch. Today, Hecuba "TWITCHED" her nose to activate her magic. She even told the mortal girl she was talking to, that with a simple "twitch" of her nose, she could help the girl. It was a different sound effect, however, the "twitch" was definitely Samantha's twitch! Scott and I about fell off our cloud when we saw this! Has anyone else seen this? OH! Isn't this so exciting that BEWITCHED is popping up more and more, everywhere? So, tune in tomorrow to see for yourself! ..........Now, we would like to add our suggestions for a Bewitched movie cast. First, Jim Carrey for Darrin Stephens. That would have to be, as he 'becomes' the character. We will post more suggestions later. We have to get ready to watch Passions and Hecuba's twitch!!!!

Hi ALL! Hope everything is WELL with everyone! It is good to see that there are other states in this AHEM.... Union... that will be getting some attention. Endora: I didn’t want to say anything to anyone.. Actually, YES! We found a few locked boxes..... in the Attic! I thought I was looking in the basement when I realized I was in the attic! There must be something in the water here in Florida... I gotta tell yas! I was going to bring the boxes into the proper place when my mirror started ringing... Can’t stand a ringing mirror! When I answered it, it was the Thanksgiving Turkey... asking for my help! Every year they are stuffed and it is most uncomfortable.... I mentioned that I would pass the word on.... so folks! Please have compassion on the Thanksgiving Turkey.... eat Tofu! Light on the "to"... heavy on the "fu"! Save the Thanksgiving Turkey.... Drats and zanfeathers...Did I miss the chat this evening? Had a meeting that lasted more than six hours... got home going on midnight! You know those important “witch” meetings...to discuss strategy.
