Jude: I agree with you concerning the theme songs. I think that they should be aired like the original broadcasts. I thought that the SGN was going to show like the Quaker Oats openings and other things but obviously not. And I noticed the other day as I was watching BW recorded from Nick-at-Nite a long time ago that they would air commericals for 'the uncut, restored I Love Lucy'. I think they should start doing the 'uncut, restored Bewitched'. For me, when I see parts of an episode that had previously been cut out it's almost like watching a whole new episode. Edwina: I also agree that they ought to digitally superimpose "one person" over the other including the voice.

Hello, fellow "Bewitched" friends! My baby sister, Jeana, has contacted me regarding a beautiful poem that was sent to me some time ago, and it reminded me alot of our Mother who passed Nov. 20, 1994. Jeana has since lost the poem, and has asked if I still have it ( I don't), and IF I could have whomever originally sent it to me, would forward it to her. So........here goes! (stand back, there may be some fallout!) To find the words that were sent to me..........I cast this spell so carefully...............Trying to locate the particular one...........To reiterate the poem the day it begun...... Hopefully that will provide the desired results. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ College and work continue to absorb the majority of my time. I will be thankful when Christmas break arrives! We are witching everyone is doing fine with no prombles in their lives. Thanks again for all of the continued communication ...... it is thoughtful and means ALOT to both of us! Oh......please use the above email to forward the "poem" to Jeana, and if you'd like, also send to *US*. We will keep it on a floppy. Thanks! >>>>>>>>>rangerz@otbnet.com<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Hi All!! Polychrome: There is an OZ board????? Oh my gosh! Yes please, what is the address? I really got a charge out of your Gladys Kravitz moment....isn’t it "peculiar" that it pertains to birds??? Hmmm..... At least you have a witness(LOL).... Jude: If I could have my 'druthers' let "them" superimpose graphically using whatever technology possible 'someone' over "someone" else for the all episodes necessary..... Although, I wouldn’t have anything to gripe about if they did what I wanted.... ~~~~Bewitched enraptured me forever....the theme music too! It makes me happy just to listen to it....not necessarily year specific.... In fact, I do like Peggy Lee’s version of the Bewitched Theme.... (The words were never used for the show) Peggy Lee is Jazz, and today, I am wearing my Jazz ears... How about her version of the song.... Is That All There Is???? Well, it is for this post... (BFE)

Hi All! Thanks Big Dave, Edwina, and Polychrome for your thoughts. Hey, I'm not angry at anybody. It just was only my past experience coming here that I would post a question and nobody would answer--so I decided, hey, let me go somewhere else. But Sam R has been a wonderful e-amil pal and would always nudge me into coming by and say "Hey don't give up on us". Too bad Screen Gems Network hasn't decided to showcase any B&W episodes of either Bewitched or Jeannie(like B&W is poison or something, sheesh!). I'm hoping that whoever picks up the show next will have the show completely restored to its original ABC version--am I the only one here who likes the theme music to seasons 2 and 3? They currently use season 1 for all the Dick York years and my question is why? With today's digital technology, they can restore each season's theme music. Anybody else have thoughts on this?

BREEN-You are welcome! Only I realized I accidently put an "N" at the end of America, that was a typo. By the way, Portobello Road is one of my most favorite places to go bargain hunting in the whole world! Haven't been there in years, but I have many happy memories from the couple of times I was there. SAM R.- That wasn't me who sent the message about Dr. Spock. Don't want to take credit for something I didn't do! Glad you liked my Turkish coffee joke. EDWINA-It's always nice to find another Oz fan! That is where I take my board name from. There is an Oz message board that Skip, Tituba and I post on, if you are interested in getting the website, I will send it to you. I, too, have a Gladys Kravitz moment. One Sunday on the way home from church, I saw the strangest bird flying by. It had no neck and an incredibly long tail! I realized as it got closer that it was a Canadian goose flying backwards! Now, seeing a bird flying backward is bad enough, but right after church!? I had my oldest munchkin verify that I wasn't out of my mind. My husband, however, would not believe either one of us. He patted my head and said, "Sure you saw a bird flying backward, sure you did". This bothered me so much that I asked a game warden friend about it. He told me it was possible for a goose to get caught in a crosswind, but he really didn't believe me either! JUDE-sometimes people only respond to a topic the have something to contribute to. I hope you will post again.

Hi All: Jeff H: I sure am glad that I made your day, thank you for telling me.... Sam R: So, you found the post interesting....truly it was intended to be funny.... eh, so I missed the mark... Jude:I think this board has such a wonderful mesh of people.... Sometimes people don’t post for a while for a number of reasons and it is always wonderful when they return. I hope you don’t really feel badly....sometimes people respond to something someone says and then sometimes it is just thoughts to ponder....Jude: Don’t go away..... and don’t go away angry....how did you get your feelings hurt? ALL: I know this part isn’t exactly Bewitched related... it is related to a house though... I saw an announcement that The Wizard of OZ will be showing November 20th...I am so excited about that.... I remember being enchanted the first time I saw it and I still become enchanted each and every single time (I cried when the witch melted, I hope I didn’t ruin the ending for anyone) What a BEAUTIFUL Movie! I can hardly wait to see it again.... Lions and Tigers and Bears Oh My..... What does he got that I ain’t got?? (Courage....) ....Come back, Auntie Em,... I’ll get you my pretty and your little dog too! Great lines each and every line, as a matter of fact I refer to my children (teenagers now) as munchkins... I adore that movie so much.... of course nothing compares to Bewitched, nothing ever will..... Fairy Godmother: (hee hee) when I first started to say something to you I started typing Fairy Boardmother....I wonder what Freud would say about that one...It is indeed good to see you again. It is good to see everyone again... Have a bewitching evening all.....(BFE)

Jude: I apologize for not welcoming you back to the board it's just that I think I entered the board during your absence so we've never really 'met.' Welcome back! I'd also have to agree with you about N@N showing the episodes in the correct order. It seems like the skip a certain episode and then show it five weeks later when it seems out of place. I hope they begin to show the b&w episodes again after the BW marathon. Heather Ann: Welcome back to the board, little sister! Frankly, I enjoyed your absence. Please make the next one longer! RE: the Samantha's play writing episode. I thought it was funny as well, mostly because you were laughing at the most simple little jokes. Ha! Ha!

Hello! Thanks Sam R for the welcome back--at least you are nice enough to do so. I feel sometimes this place is too much of a clique that shuts out those who aren't in the in crowd, so to speak--am I wrong? Please convince me that I'm wrong. Heather: I think some people tend not to find that episode too funny in that it features all the stereotypes that people today don't want portrayed--not "pc". But hey, its just a TV show. Fairy Godmother: I hope you enjoyed those B&W BW's from Sam R--they used to be mine.:) Wishing Nick would stop the foolishness and air BW in its correct order from episode 1 or for TBS to buy back the rights and air it again in the mornings. Aah--BW, what a great way to start off your day! :)

Okay, so it took me two months to write again. I'm not dead, so don't worry!:) Anyway, I'm too lazy to read the postings up until now, so I'll just ask this question: What did you think of that episode where Samantha has to write that play with the indian, the general guy, and the Northern girl? I thought it was absolutely hillarious! (I hope I spelled 'hillarious' right!) Big Dave told me that some people thought it was stupid, but I didn't think so. (And that maybe because I laugh at EVERYTHING.) So any other opinions would help. Talk to you guys later!:):)

POLYCHROME: I thank you for trying to answer the Dr.Spock/Mr.Spock question for me; loved your 'turkish coffee' remark. EDWINA: Very interesting story. I remember when leaving work a few years ago and it was in October. I was crossing through the park and there were literally thousands of black crows everywhere. They were perched on hydro lines, trees, a huge black carpet of them on the grass. As I waded through them, those birds were not one little bit afraid of me....but I sure was pretty nervous. It was indeed a Hitchcock moment....FAIRY GODMOTHER and JUDE: Hello and great to see you both here. It's been awhile.

Fairy Godmother: It's good to hear from you again. I did see 'Leprechauns' and I just wasn't as impressed with that tele-movie as I was with 'Merlin.' Have fun watching the b&w BW's! Everyone: screengemsnetwork.com has updated their site to include a schedule now and other things like chat and message boards (all though I doubt their message board will have such a great caliber of people as this one does! Thanks Broph!). In the 'Did You Know?' section the writer says he would like to see a Celebrity Death Match between the Red Haired and Brunette Louise Tates! I thought that was hilarious! They don't have next weeks schedule up yet so I'll share just so you can warm up the VCR's. Monday is first episodes of Monkees and Partridge Family (I think.) Tues=Art for Sam's Sake, My Master the Tycoon. Wed=I Confess, The Birds & the Bees Bit. Thur=Samantha's Old Man, Have You Ever Had a Genie Hate You?. Fri=Toys in Babeland, Abdullah.

Hi all, I had a Gladys Kravitz moment it was so funny I just had to share it with you ALL..... I was looking out the kitchen window admiring the beautiful scenery.....my eyes were stopped suddenly by a sight... The focus was on the lawn..... I saw what amounted to 600+ Black birds.... I was amazed by the quantity they were all so very beautiful..in an Alfred Hitchcock way.....I called to my husband to come see them... he was slow to react because he was building yet another bookcase.....(I bought some more books I needed more things to dust you see....) As he was walking toward me, my son called to him for something and of course his "Princeship" gets precedence.... well, about half of the birds flew away..... the sight was majestic...... I told my husband if he wanted to see the sight, he really needed to come to the window ..... He told me that he was coming and nothing was going to deter him.....as he walked toward the window the rest of the birds flew away.... There weren't any birds to view..... noting they were not there....he stated "Okay Gladys I will go and get your medicine now".... It was such a Bewitching moment.... the situation was perfectly hilarious..... of course, I had to tell YOU! Have a Bewitching night everyone...... (BFE)

My favorite music would be from seasons three and one, of course. Was there music in my favorite season (eight)- I would not have remembered that one. And yes, that episode with Larry seeing the elephant did remind one of Gladys Kravitz. That episode is from the end half of the 7th season. Not one of my favorites. liz does not look too happy in that one either. it only gets worse. There is an episode coming up from the 6th season that is cute-Samantha's Lost weekend. That one is from the happier days of the 6th season-the one where she sleeps & eats-pretty clever. I thought the Endora airplane scene to Boston is up there as one of her best moments of her being serious but also being hysterically funny. That's why she is so classy. She did not need props of gimmicks to be funny- she had the dialogue and definately the delivery. I know seasons 7 & 8 are not my favorites but I did like AM's "CRASHING BOAR" lines.

Thanks for the tip about Erin's article in People. I bought it, and was alittle embarrassed about buying it with the title being "The world's sexist Man". I tried to be as macho about it as I could. I think when Aunt Clara was referring to Dr. Spock, she was referring to a children's doctor who wrote a famous book and became a pop-culture icon of the 50's and 60's. But I could be wrong - maybe she was referring to Mr. Spock of Star Trek. . . I second the motion for a Bewitched CD. Somebody, somewhere must have all the original music stored on tape. . . I finally watched the SGN monday show of Bewitched. The first few minutes disturbed me with Larry acting like Glady's or Mrs. Stephens. He saw an elephant disappear and then declared that he was getting a sick headache. What were the writers thinking??? That is NOT Larry!!!! By the eighth season everyone must have been burned-out on the show and were just milking it for the money. But I'm glad we have them because we can really appreciate the first five seasons!!!!!!

Man, did you guys see that picture of EM on the second page of Vic's Bewitched Page? SEXY!!! Rrrrowl!!...Have you noticed in your viewings of BW how the background music affects your perception of the show? I think that all the music on BW was good until about the DS years with the exception of music played whenever they are at the witches convention in Salem. I like how it is spooky and other worldly. The other pieces of music I enjoy is the music accompanying most of Serena's scenes, when Charlie Leach is walking back from Mexico, and others that I can't remember. I think somebody ought to produce "The Music of Bewitched" album with the theme song, Serena's songs, Boyce & Hart, and a lot of the background songs.

Skip: Actually, Endora taught that man a very valuable lesson in etiquette. As she herself said, a true gentleman always gives up his seat to a lady. Ah yes, the benevolent Endora, making the world a better place, one mortal at a time.....

SKIP: It must have been Endora's seat by the virtue that she is simply, 'Endora.' Everybody: I think that that I spotted a couple of bloopers tonight on BW. It was the 'Flying Saucer' episode. Near the beginning, Clara refers to 'spacemen and Dr. Spock'. In Star Trek, was it not 'Mr. Spock?' Should not the writers have written Mr. and not Dr.? Help me out here buds... The other thing in the same episode is that it appears that Mrs. Kravitz is picking flowers right next door to the Stephen's house, like she lived there. Did not Abner and Gladys live across the street from Darrin and Samantha? I also noticed this discrepency in the 'Ling Ling' episode years before. Any thoughts on this?

In the episode where Endora changes Darrin into a werewolf, the client gets a tail! Wonder how he felt about that! He is noticing Endora's dress (costume) It is black & white stripes. It is unusual. Everyone: When Bewitched originally aired on ABC, they used the Endora/guy in the plane scene in one of their promos for the 7th season. I AGREE IT IS A CLASSIC ENDORA MOMENT! I laugh just thinking about it (just like I do about the episode where The client tells Endora he likes her costume too) . . but I won't bring that episode up again, its a sore subject for Endora and my feet are sore from walking from the Boston Airport all the way back to Phoenix. Hi everybody! My kids collect comic books and I got a real kick out of two that they showed to me. One had two superheroes arguing over who is better, Samantha or Jeannie. The other was one of those digest style comic books, it had a scene in a sky scraper with several business men arguing and the line was "...I'll take my business to McMann and Tate!". It's nice to find Bewitched in the little things, isn't it!

Breen: I've often thought it would be neat to see the b&w's in color but I think maybe they're better left alone. I think it being colorless adds more to the witchy atmosphere. And, frankly, when I was younger I didn't realize they could do special effects in b&w, it being 'so long ago' so I thought it was cool to see people disappearing and appearing in b&w. Mark: Actually I have seen every episode of season one with the exception of "The Girl Reporter" and "Open the Door, Witchcraft." I have all but five episodes on tape. And I have to agree with your comments about Liz. I enjoy her hairstyle and the makeup she wears. Besides the fact that you could really tell she enjoyed being Samantha.

I also like the way, after she sends him to Boston ahead of schedule, she says something like "In my day, a gentleman always gave up his seat to a lady." But my favorite line is after they deplane, when she walks by him and says "Lovely flight wasn't it?" or words to that effect. AM quote for the day: "Neatness of person....of environment....of mind and body indicate to me, and, I feel to everyone else, a discipline that is absolutely vital in every area of life. After all, we are not meant to be undisciplined. Freedom is really a disciplined way to live; to live freely without disturbing the rights of others, for example."

Jeff: The (more or less) exact quote was: "I think there's been some mistake" to which Endora responded, "There has, and you just made it!" Then, with a quick flick of her index finger, she sent the guy to Boston airport. I always love it when she and Sam and Darrin are about to descend the stairs and she notices him already there.

Hmmm. Do you think they should take the first black and white episodes from Bewitched, and use that technique where they 'color in' episodes to make them seem more modern, and then reshow them? Would that be kewl or would you prefer them to leave the original episodes as they were first shown.

I just got back to work (Houston office) today and I went to the front desk to pick something up and the receptionist fainted! She's going to be fine, she had a bad reaction to some medication she was taking for migraines, but still, what a welcome home! Since I was the only one w/her when it happened I had to talk to all the EMT's and convince them I hadn't cast a spell (what? Me? Never!) Anyway, on that note, here's an AM quote for the day. "What is beauty? We all know how we have felt when we have seen someone with a magnificent face....a truly "beautiful" person. And, then, we have all felt the disillusioning disappointment when that person has shown a streak of ugliness within himself or herself; hate or stupidity or anything but the "beauty" we thought we had found there. And, then, we all know how it is to be with someone whose facial features might not, perhaps, be "ideally" beautiful in the sense of the word we commonly use; or someone beyond the first flush of youth. Yet, that person makes us want to stay with him or her. We feel warm and secure and confident; radiating, whether we know it or not, in that person's confidence in himself or herself." P.S. So far two people have seen the "Jesus Loves You But I'm His Favorite" button that I put on my AM picture (taped it to the lapel of her Endora costume actually!) One laughed, the other got mad! Oh well, guess the truth hurts sometimes huh?

Big Dave: Wasn't that so classy & mysterious the way they vanished in that episode? Another effect that I loved was that puff of smoke followed by flames that was used for Endora & Maurice. Just another example of how classy that show was instead of being hoacky (I don't know it that's a word). I hope you get to see the first 15-20 episodes from season one. To me, they are the best. Liz looks especially beautiful in those. Love those eyes and her hair looks great!

I thought I would share this with every one just because I think it it so wonderful and magical. Paula Abdul will be starring as herself this Friday on 'Sabrina, the Teenage Witch'. The reason I think this is so wonderful and magical is because I've always thought the cover of Paula's Spellbound album looked like Serena. And, frankly, I just enjoy Paula. But back to things of the BW kind...I just watched episode #5 for the first time this weekend (thanks, Sam R!). This episode happens to be the first one where Samantha is seen in her flying suit. I noticed that it seems a rather lighter tint than what black would've been which lead me to believe it might've been red as the Ideal Doll company portrayed it. I just thought it was rather interesting. Plus when Samantha and Endora vanish the pose they strike seemed rather like they were posing for a statue.

Sam R: I agree with you. I think the money was the issue for continuing Bewitched- not for creative purposes by no means. For seasons 6,7,& 8 the show really took a turn. Some episodes I really liked and would rather have had them than not at all, especially from season 6. Season 7 is OK until after the Salem episodes. Season 8, well what can I say. EM's performance and those rolling eye looks, bored looks, tell it all. True to some a season with their favorite cast member is better than none at all but after all- enough was more than enough. To tell you the truth, when season 8 rolls around I don't watch. I think EM should have taken a stance about continuing the series and maybe her marriage would have lasted alittle bit longer. I feel sorry for Mr Asher. He really loved her and obviously still does.

I didn't get a chance to post this weekend - raking leaves and such, don't you know. I did pick up a copy of the new People today (it wasn't available yesterday, so it looks like someone had some advanced info!). The article on Erin Murphy is terrific - some good photos and more details than they get into in the TV docus about Bewitched. Of course, they did spend some time talking about those days, but the article was really about Erin. Trivia about her husband: 1) They met a year ago St. Patrick's Day and married 2 months later (Endora - she was already remarried when I met her in Boston and when you met her at Spooky World, though she was still living on the East Coast!), 2) His name is _Darren_ (I kid you not!) 3) Erin touches finger to nose for one of the pictures (OK, that's not about her husband - sue me!). Go out right now and buy 3 copies of the current issue. Then check out this page to send People some feedback: http://www.pathfinder.com/people/web/write_to_us.html . Everybody gets "People", right?

I watched the 3 documentry type shows profiling EM and the Bewitched cast several times over now and I just wanted to contribute a few observations thatI had. As Liz and Bill Asher were quite ready to throw in the towel after DY could no longer continue, but were persuaded by ABC network executives to sign a contract for another few years with the carrots being various options, ownership % in the show, scads more money, and the like. Now I got the impression that Liz felt the time to leave was at the end of season 5, and I think Mr. Asher also mentioned that she wanted to spend more time with her sons, as she had not had all the time that she wanted to spend with them during the filming of BW, and I think that she was expecting around the end of season 5. I strongly got the impression that in accepting all the carrots dangling for the 2 of them to continue with the show, it ultimately cost them the quality of such a wonderful program, and more importantly their marriage in the end. That is the impression that I got from Bill Asher anyway. He seemed remorseful and even called himself 'stupid.' I think Bill Asher is a wonderful man and it could not have been easy for him to admit on these docu's that he had been wrong about a few decisions concerning going on with the show. I think Liz regretted the carrots as well.....and then it was too late. Just my thoughts on that anyway, there's more but I'm probably heading into deep water as it is. The other thing I noticed was what a contrast Sandra Gould was to her tv character, Gladys. She was joyous, kind, warm, didn't have a harsh word to say about any cast member. She spoke warmly of them all and their was no negativity about her whatsoever. She observed how Liz pushed herself and worked so hard, exhausting for Sandra even to observe. Is it any wonder that Liz looked so worn and tired during the last year of BW? Anyway, I am sad that Sandra is gone because like Aunt Clara, "her kind are very hard to find."

Warlock: Elizabeth Montgomery knew season 8 would be the end because she ultimately pulled the plug on the show: ABC had committed to doing it until at least 1975. Erin Murphy got a phone call telling her it was over. There was no special goodbye episode, but there again, that is a relatively recent phenomenon. Most shows of the 60s and earlier had no special last episode. - Mark: I too have contributed to AdamJones's bloopers, most recently with the one about"Mona Sammy", which is written entirely by me (i.e. exactly as I emailed it to him). I also often wonder what the last 3 seasons would have been like with Dick York ... there's no doubt they would have been of superior quality. Still, Dick Sargent was in a no-win situation; there's no way he could possibly have made a lasting mark that would overshadow York's portrayal. But I do hate his arrogance whenever he talked about his involvement with the show.

Ahhhh, c'mon you guys, poor DS has had enough beatings../..Edwina, just fyi, that program was copied on a similar program in the UK. Colin Mocherie (and also Ryan Stiles) also used to appear on the UK one. It's very good../..I look for Bewitched references in programs. There's a movie on at this moment on BBC1, called Pyrate, it's a comedy from 1991 or thereabouts. The women is called Sam and she introduces herself to the guy. 'Sam?', he says. 'Yes short for Samantha, but I always hated it because of Bewitched'. 'I love it' he says, but not because he likes Bewitched because he likes her. (It's funny, so I'm taping the rest of it to watch later.) That's all, not very interesting but it's a Bewitched reference after all.

Hi All: I was watching a comedy show last night called "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" with a dude hosting named Drew Carey. He has four comedians and are they great with improvisations..... One of them is Colin, from Canada Drew always brings up the fact that Colin is from Canada.... anyway Colin was up and.... (scene fades.....) Different skits are performed....songs are sung.....hats are worn and the comedians come with off the cuff ideas most of which send me to laughter land.... Colin was performing before a chroma key green background he has no clue what is going on in the background (supposedly) and the other comedians give hints of what is happening in the background.... This particular scene was the H bomb exploding you know the one that was dropped on Hiroshima, (not the one on Nagasaki).... one of the responses that Colin gave.....words to the effect this is what happened when they switched the Darrins..... Referring of course to the controversy surrounding which one was better.....and I say hmmmm cool Colin.....(From Canada) Sam R: Well...., it was in quotes..... I think punctuation is one of those "funny" things that help convey meaning to the masses particularly when you can not hear the inflection of one's voice. (BFE)

Whenever the DS episodes roll around on Nick-at-Nite I feel rather sad because I know what is going to happen to the quality of the show. I haven't seen "Samantha and the Beanstalk" for quite some time and I must say that Erin's performance was absolutely cool! When she was discussing with her parents the fact that she felt like she would be neglected with the new arrival I kept on thinking that what she REALLY meant to say was that she was highly upset that this unloving new guy was saying he was her father and she was quite upset that her mother didn't realize it. Notice that the only thing she tells Jack about her father is that "he plays golf" when she might've said "he's fun to play games with" or "he love you a lot." I enjoyed all of Tabatha's scences with the Giant especially when she asks if children taste good! It was a rather Addams Family moment. And when she tells Samantha "NO!" to enlarging the Giant and then says quickly "O.K. O.K. I'm doing it!" How like my relationship with my mother when she asked me to do things when I was younger. Frankly, I used to not be too impressed by this episode but last night I found myself laughing (when I wasn't moping because of the loss of the true Darrin.) One more beef about DS. Again, I wanted to kick him in the head for his unexcusable tone of voice with Endora. It seemed he accused her of his family being in the storybook when she wasn't even around at the time. I know that if DY had been there his portrayal would've been one of being scared and confused as to their safety in the story and wanting Endora's advice on the situation. Sue L: Another blooper for ya. In the credits of "Samantha's Shopping Spree" Steve Franken is listed as 'Uncle Henry' rather than 'Cousin Henry.' Also in the Giant episode if you notice the size of the door in the torture chamber is too small for the Giant to pass through.

I think I noticed the lack of fatherly contact with Tabitha. DS was not a father in real life but DY was and 5 kids! You see a better relationship if the actors have real life children & if they are married in real life. DY & EM seem to really kiss! Am I right? EM & DS left the kids alone with a sitter more often in the later episodes. Does anyone remember the pie episode? You can see Liz's wig almost fall off as Serena. And I noticed that after Sam got the pie in the face, she is trying not to break up. And as Serena she really flirting a little more with Larry. Is the closet in the kitchen really that big? that is a real blooper.

Mark: Funny how DS ALWAYS brought up the fact that he was considered for the Darrin part before DY in interviews. I do believe he was jealous of DY's perfect performance. And why would "they" want to do a different Darrin than DY's? "They" tried to just slip DS in the role with no fanfare, etc. and wanted the public to accept him without making a big deal of it - so why would they want DS to be different in any way? I think the difference in DS's portrayal of Darrin and DY's, is purely DS's doing. There have been many times I've imagined DY doing the DS role, and I just know he'd have done it much better, with more class, and more respect towards Sam, Endora, Tabitha, etc. DS used sarcasm as his humor, he made stupid smirks, hardly ever smiled or showed any warmth at all for Sam or Tabitha (not to mention Adam), and consequently lost the whole premise of the show. The show was about how the love between Sam and Darrin was much stronger than any witchcraft Sam could use to make her life easier. Without the love, the show lost it's appeal, and those remarks of DS's (I agree those are mostly the writers' fault), the smirks, the cold treatment in general just destroyed what DY and EM had built up.

Everyone is writing how DS was not up to the DY Darrin character. I never liked DS's Darrin. You know what is scary...DS was cast as the original Darrin but had other commitments. Think about that!! He would have been the only Darrin we knew. I don't know why the writers made him so nasty. After all, they did write his dialogue. I think I saw an interview with DS where he said they did not want to model DS against DY- he just could not play the part as DY did. They could have made his character alittle more compassionate. I cannot imagine DS being Darrin in those early B & W episodes when the relationship was being established. I do not thing BW would have lasted 8 years with DS at all. DY is my favorite. I wonder is DY would have stayed on the last 3 years if the show would have slipped so fast. I wonder if the scripts would have been better and how DY would have performed in those DS situations.

Big Dave: Now you know AM wouldn't approve of me giving out that info. You'll just have to keep "checking" (smile). Speaking of Alice Ghostley, I heard her do a voiceover on a radio commercial in Houston a month or so ago. Re the DS subject, we've been speaking a lot about his rapport w/the kids, but really, did he have a rapport w/ANYONE? I just never saw any connections, not w/Larry, not w/Sam, not even w/his own parents! Face it, as Dobbin, the man simply had no warmth whatsoever, even in the "feel good" episodes, like "Sisters at Heart". I don't know if this is because we're all so used to DY (who was perfect in the role) or because the scripts in general were kind of slipping toward the end. DS was actually a very good actor, but for some reason he just didn't cut it as Derwood.

As I am still an insomniac, I am sitting here watching Bewitched on Nick at Nite; unfortunately they have just got round to the DS episodes. I haven't seen Samantha and the Beanstalk for a long time. But the discussions about DS's portrayal of Darrin are so relevant watching this! The very first thing that DS says as Darrin is to criticise Sam in a rather harsh way; the poor woman is trying to think of names for the baby and he's too busy concentrating on his golf! No wonder then in the next scene Tabitha offers quite enthusiastically to give her dad to Jack!

I'm sorry about posting the same message three times, stupid city library computer....I also thought of another touching moment with DY which was not with Tabatha but with Michael, the orphan that stayed with them Christmas 1964. First of all he dressed up as Santa trying to add a little 'magic' to the holiday for Michael but after they are back home from their trip to the North Pole and Darrin is holding Michael and then he carries him upstairs. We know that DS's Darwood would never agree in the first place to go see Santa and in the second place he probably would've shoved Michael off his lap when he awoke. Endora: What was this scene you were speaking of earlier with AM's lining in her dress and all? What episode:)

There is a scene in Tabatha's bedroom where Darrin is showing off Tabatha to Larry Tate and the Client. Just the way he cuddles Tabatha is SO awesome! You can tell he actually loves her and is very proud but protective of her!!! Way to do Dick York!!!!

Also in Australia on cable they have a tv station called TV1 - home of the tv classic such as Bewitched, Jeannie and Lucy and they have this catchy tune!!! Well I have been saving it to disk and that and abou to put it on the web. So whats been happening - any current Bewitched events. Oh, I know why we will never get a tv series of Bewitched, I hat to think it but - you know. We have CHARMED - that witches shoiw, which is real cool and Sabrina - that teenage witch so I don't think the networks will do it!! They'll say to many supernatural shows.

Dave: I have always maintained that one of the worst things about having DS take over the Dobbin role is that it ruined any potential for touching father/daughter moments between he and Tabitha. DY's Dustbin was great, exactly the way any normal father would be w/his first born. Meanwhile DS acted like they were bothering him no matter what they were doing (or not doing). Actually, he acted this way w/Samantha too....

Does anyone know where I can report Durweed #2 for the terrible treatment of his daughter? The other day while watching "Samantha's Lost Weekend" where she thinks she has voracious ravenousititis I wanted to just kick him in the head. First of all he practically bit her head off for not eating her meal when I know DY's Derweed would try to understand why she wasn't eating and then when Samantha asked him to please take her upstairs it looked to me like he forcefully ripped up off the chair by ONE ARM (Erin Murphy's lucky he didn't pop it out of the socket) and dragged her up to her room. It was really uncomfortable watching. Especially with such tender moments between father and daughter exhibited when DY was Darrin like when he is flying the toy U.F.O. with her or when they were flying a paper airplane. You would never catch DS having play time with the kids.

Sue: if you really want to catch bloopers, go to Vic's Bewitched Page, Page 2. There is a link to Adam Jones 1164 Page. Once your in, click on "Bewitced Stuff" then click on bloopers. There are a bunch. I love bloopers and have emailed Dave with some of my own and he has used them! You will enjoy it.

another blooper, the episode where Darrin (Dick York) is making references to Sam's age. menitoned that Sam knew Henty the VIII. The later episode where Sam has no memory of who she is and does not know Darrin (Dick Sargent)and she is in the time of Henry the VII. I think she would not know Henry the VIII. He no doubt did not remember her. That is so weird because it is a real blooper.

I found some bloopers. In one episode Darrin told Sam that she promised to love, honor & no witchcraft. How? Sam did not tell Darrin she was a witch until the wedding night. Where does the kitchen window face? If the kitchen door faces the side of the house. Darrin stood in front of the kitchen window, it looks like it is facing the front of the house. And then later on when there are stairs in the kitchen, if they are not real stairs then do they walk on camera. Thanks! I am trying to catch bloopers.

Rita: Speaking of spending money, I just made the rounds of the net and bought a bunch of AM stuff some would say I don't need w/money I don't have. Sigh. It's just that logic and reason fly out the window whenever I see AM, especially in her Endora costume. What a Goddess, she could sit on my "roof" anytime ;-)!

Spot on LING LING. Those smirks of Darwin's really got to me, would have loved to have reached into my TV set and smack it off his face. (no offence meant to DS personally.) BTW Ling Ling, would you mind terribly forwarding your email address to me so I can write and forward things to you? Thanks muchly... FUJIYAMA: Welcome to the Board. Glad you made it. Lots of wonderful people here. I think you'll enjoy it. BIG DAVE: Well you know what I dressed up as this Halloween, but I don't think I should mention it here. Big Dave: I appreciate the update on the Screen Gems Network! Its great to come to this board and find the info here! I really like what they are doing with the Screen Gems network except for all the editing they do on the shows. Some great lines are being cut out : ( especially some of Endora's great moments. If they want to edit things, why don't the focus on Dick Sargent's nasty remarks : ) Sorry for sounding so negative but I'm a purist who wants to see all 26 minutes of an episode. Its pretty cool if you think about it though, after 30+ years we are still watching Bewitched every day!!!!!! I tape them and feel like a little kid again when I watch them in the evening at dinner!!! Take care everyone.

I hope everyone had a safe Halloween. What did everyone dress as? I, being away from my stash of great Halloween costumes at my parents house wore a BW tee-shirt (gracias, Endora!), a witches hat, painted my face Gothic and passed myself off as the spirit of Halloween. Pretty lame, I know... I thought it would be a nice thing if I shared what episodes are coming up on the SGN. BW episodes are listed first: Wed Nov. 3 = Samantha's Lost Weekend & Please Don't Feed the Astronauts, Thur Nov. 4 = Samantha Loses Her Voice & Haven't I Seen Me Someplace Before, and Fri. Nov 5 = Samantha's Good News & Divorce, Genie Style, Mon Nov 9 = Samantha's Magic Mirror & See You in C-U-B-A. The rest of next week looks like the SGN is going to show some of their different shows like the Flying Nun, Gidget, Benson, and the Facts of Life to name some but then the following week it goes back to BW & IDOJ.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween! If you watched SGN on Friday, you may have noticed that Erin didn't seem to host the Halloween episodes. I did re-read the chat http://chat.lycos.com/transcripts/emurphy.html and I guess she never said anything about appearing in present form - maybe she meant that we'd see her in her Tabitha days. Check out her links page - she'll be at the World's Largest Diso this month and on the 7th she'll be a presenter at the Hollywood Reporter's Young Star Awards at Universal Studios - http://www.tvtoys.com/erinmurphy/links.htm

Last year my daughter Samantha went as a witch for Halloween--she had no other choice with me around! Actually she went as a witch 2 years in a row. This year my wife is getting dressed as a witch, keeping the family tradition. We are doing a Wizard of Oz theme, my 2 year old son Nick will be a lion,I will be the Scarecrow and Sam will be going as Dorothy this year--it should be fun-weather forecast looks good.

Remember - today on SGN Erin Murphy will be hosting 2 (count 'em, 2!) Halloween episodes of Bewitched! Check your local listings if you haven't already. And if you haven't seen the re-launch or Erin's site, check it out - http://www.tvtoys.com/erinmurphy/ . I still wonder if she's seen the "Unofficial" site - since someone took the picture, and the person who posted about the chat sessions seemed to be someone who knew her, I'd have to think she has (yikes! - I'd better get it updated). Question - is it just in Boston, or is it the same across the country - is SGN now down to only 1 hour a day?! They seem to only show Bewitched and IDOJ on the local channel - they don't show "Charlie's Angels", which they had shown before SGN even came out anyway. And for general information, Endora was just exaggerating when she said "freezing" weather - we've had a couple of frosts, but it's not what I'd call "freezing" weather (if puddles on the ground are liquid, it's not cold, as I told her last February!).

Scott: The one w/DS in a bathtub is from "To Go or Not to Go". Not sure about the one w/Endora and Serena in the washroom, is it the pie episode? I think it's one of the earlier Serena ones actually. There are several shows in a row where Serena wears the same pink and green dress and this is one of them. Juke: Ling Ling is ABSOLUTELY correct. Not only could the real Endora kick your mother's a** w/o smearing her eyeliner, so could I! Jeff H: You bring up the Halloween episode w/the client insulting Endora's marvelous zebra striped outfit every year, and every year I tell you that that is NOT funny, it's cruel and hateful and she should have disintegrated that idiot! As for me falling down because of Arthur....hmmm, you may have a point there....I shall have to think of suitable Halloween revenge! Broph: Perhaps you should consider starting to digitially watermark the photos of Erin you post on your site?

I need help identifying a couple of episodes. I was watching the EM bio tonight on tape and saw an episode with Endora and Serena in a utility/wash room. There was another scene where Darrin (Sargent) was in a bathtub. What are the names of these episodes. It was neat to see the footage of Salem being filmed, too. It was a nice piece on her life.

The reaction everyone gives is so funny and genuine that I'm laughing just thinking of it!! WHAT A GREAT EPISODE. Its the only episode I know of where Endora apoligizes SINCERELY to Darrin. Hi everyone. I got to stand in the freezing weather for 30 minutes this morning because my train was late! I feel like a total native now! Then to top it off when the train finally got there and I started walking toward it I slipped on some loose gravel and fell down (not on the tracks fortunately)! I was so cold I didn't even feel it much, though I did get some nice colorful scrapes on my leg. As I told the concerned crowd that gathered around me at the train station, the day can only get better at this point (LOL). Oh yea, I am wearing purple today and when I put it on this morning I thought it would bring me closer to AM....so much for that theory (somehow I don't think she fell down much, either at train stations or elsewhere). BTW I have now offically fallen down in every place I've ever visited!

I figured I'd be intruding on the WebMD chat on pregnancy with Erin today, so I didn't attend that one; they seem to be good about posting transcripts, though, so I'll let you all (or as Endora says, y'all) know if I see it. BTW, if I hadn't mentioned it before, if you went to the page on Lycos talking about Erin's discussion from Monday night, you saw a picture of her as a young girl, which then switched to a picture of her as an adult. You can imagine my surprise when I saw that picture - it was the one that I took of her when I met her in Boston a year ago July! Now I can honestly say that someone stole something from my site! Ling Ling: I also thought that episode of the 'preggers' Darrin was really funny. I've never laughed so hard. And like I mentioned to the Princess, women are totally on a high pedestal in my book. A couple weeks ago in my Human Development class we watched a birth video. I had seen it before but this time it had a HUGE impact on me when I realized that some of my girl friends had gone through that what-looks-awful experience and that my Mother had. Frankly, it made me light-headed and I just give all my praise and thanks that I don't have to give birth...and, no, that's not an invitation to cast the 'preggers' spell on me:) On a lighter note, it seems that Boyce & Hart were formed by Jeannie's magic according to what was shown on the SGN today. But I still love "Serena Stops the Show" more than the IDOJ appearance of Boyce & Hart for three reasons: SERENA, SERENA, SERENA!

Witch brings up another BW episode that was classic - remember when Endora cast a spell on Darrin so he'd have labor pains? DY was excellent in that, as was EM and of course AM. It's probably my favorite DY episode. And I agree - men should have the babies. But I don't think they could handle it, personally.

Well the fact that Erin Murphy keeps bringing up AM leads me to believe that she also mentioned AM for both the E! and the ET specials and was edited. Looks like it's spell casting time again...stand back, there may be some fallout....As far as having a healthy pregnancy, I couldn't care less as I've always believed men should have the babies, but I would like to know how Erin manages to look so slim and trim and wonderful after having four children. When she talks about that, I'm there! My favorite Halloween episode is Trick or Treat, which always makes me cry as well. Trick or Treat reallly showcased the talents of all three of the BW stars, w/EM, DY and especially (as always) AM giving standout performances. This favorite episode is followed closely by Twitch or Treat as seeing Endora knock Arthur out of a tree also brings tears to my eyes, tears from laughing so hard that is.....My least favorite Halloween episode is the one where Erin is a leopard, though I love her choice of outfit! I also don't like "The Witches are Out", three guesses as to why....Ling Ling: As always, you are soooo right. When it comes to the Blair Witch (or anyone else for that matter) Endora could kick their a** w/o even smearing her eyeliner!

Big Dave: I saw another advert for the Nick at Nite Marathons last night, and Bewitched WAS included: it wasn't mentioned but there was a picture of Samantha. I've seen the Blair Witch Project twice now, once in the cinema and once on video because my friend hadn't seen it. I have to say I was scared in the cinema, but mainly because of the anticipation that something was going to happen, because of the hype around the film. I came out feeling rather deflated, and watching it again the other day I realise what a major disappointment it is! But I will have to buy it anyway; my brother wants to make himself popular by having the Blair Witch Project on video before it has even come out in all British cinemas, so I have to send it back home to him!

Well, how ironic that I just finished watching Maureen MacCormick play Li'l Endora. I really enjoy that episode a lot but I really enjoy all the DY Halloween episodes. If I had to choose just one fave it would be "The Witches Are Out" from the first season. That episode seems so innocent to me especially EM's portrayal of Samantha. I loved her looks, her voice, and just everything about her in this episode. I especially liked that she choose to sit on top of the lamp in Mr. Brinkman's room. But I really love this episode because of the introduction of Aunt Clara and her kleptomaniac ways of stealing doorknobs. I think this episode is just cute.

I'd put Endora up against ANY witch ANY day. Not only does she have more power than anyone else, but she exudes class. Even as little Marcia Brady...I mean, when Maureen MacCormick played a young Endora - she was awesome. That, BTW, is my favorite BW Halloween episode. I loved the end where Sam talks Endora into turning Darrin back to normal. It always brings tears to my eyes!

Is Bewitched going to be included? On the commercial I only counted 7 shows that they actually named (then again I was very tired when I did count). I sure hope they do.

Whenever I think of the few bucks I spent to watch that Blair Witch Project I feel embarrassed like Mark! That was such a poor movie I don't know who would even put Samantha in the same poll with it! Even the last episodes of BW in the early 70's were masterpieces compared to that 'donkey' movie! And as we mostly agree, that isn't saying much!!!

Additional stuff on the chat last night - Erin was asked about her favorite actors. After thinking about it, she said "Agnes Moorehead and Chartlon Heston". Also, the IMDb poll from yesterday - who's more powerful - The Blair Witch or Samantha - 597 votes were cast - Samantha won with 333 votes (55.8%), The Blair Witch got 169 votes (28.3%) and Tabitha didn't do too badly with 95 votes (15.9%) - at least Tabitha got more than half of what The Blair Witch got. I figure if they didn't have Tabitha as a response, Samantha would have gotten an even larger percentage of the vote.

Well, the chat with Erin Murphy just finished. The chat room isn't conducive to copying text, but a transcript will be ready in a few days. Girl and Breen were there and we each got a few questions. She will make an appearance on the SGN on Friday, hosting Halloween episodes. Her baby's name, BTW, is Dylan.

Mark: I completely agree with you. And I think your comments reflect that you are in fact a true fan, because like me, you sound 'grieved' at the state of the show toward the end. Bill Asher said in an interview that they wanted to end it several years before it went off, but ABC offered them more money and creative freedom than they could have imagined. I read somewhere that Elizabeth Montgomery alone made something like $6 million plus she owned 20% of the show, not bad for 30 years ago. - I too recently watched some of the B&W shows, and you're dead-on right, they were exceptional in every respect.

Skip: I have said this before but some don't agree. BW totally went downhill after the Salem episodes. Trus there were some cute episodes but Liz looked disgusted by that point and I don't feel comfortable watching the later 7th season episodes and definately the 8th season, which is the absolute worse. Mony Happy Returns, Laugh Clown Laugh, Samantha & The Antique Doll, all the "European" episodes, Samantha's Pet Warlock, The Warlock in the Gray Flannel Suit, Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse & A Good Turn Never Goes Unpunished, and even the last episode are my least favorites. Partly because of the weak scripts and partly Liz does not look too happy. Her looks even changed during the second half of the 7th season. I recently watched some episodes from the 1st two seasons-wow was that show differant. The stories focused on D & S's relationship. They were really prestine episodes. I may not sound like a true fan, but they should have stopped after the 7th season-I think Liz would have thought so too.

Everyone: With the showing of "Oedipus Hex" the other day on the SGN I now have all of the third season recorded. I only have 66 more episodes to go before I get the whole series! When her schedule got too hectic, she passed the board to Chipper, who then passed it on to me. I hope you find it a nice place where people come to share their thoughts and feelings. I haven't posted much this week since I was very busy with Endora - another board member who likes to visit the Salem, MA area. It's interesting to see the responses to the question I proposed because for the most part I agree. Let me also say that I don't think that the non-Darrin episodes are included in the worst but that they really don't showcase the underlying theme of BW witch was that a man and a woman of different ethnic backgrounds were trying hard to make their marriage work no matter the obstacles. I enjoy the non-Darrin episodes because it kindof showed what life was like while Darrin was either just at work during the day or even gone on a business trip. I recall that DY said that had he been given a year to rest he would've come back to the role. I think that maybe they could've done a retro-season of Samantha's adventures previous to her marriage and then DY could've came back and they could've picked up where they left off. Who knows, maybe Liz would've wanted to go another season or two with her original Durwood. Now on another topic, does anyone know why EM and William Asher's other son, Robert, is never shown in interviews or other things relating to his mother? Has something happened to him or is he just camera shy? Sam R: I'm glad to hear that you're reliving the magic of the first two seasons. Laura: Welcome to the board!

I don't agree that the non-Darrin episodes are among the worst. In fact, some of them are among my favourites: Tabitha's Cranky Spell; Serena & Arthur making nut-covered banana chocolate snacks; the ape turned into a man episode; Queen Victoria; and of course Serena's date with Franklyn Blodgett, to mention only a few. These are all good shows. For me, the worst 'Bewitched' episode will always be, first foremost and always "Laugh Clown Laugh" which was originally shown April 15, 1971. An absolute embarassment, painful to watch, simply dreadful. Nothing from season 8 sinks down to the level of "Laugh Clown Laugh."

I absolutely love the first 2 seasons of Bewitched. It was so fresh and innocent, well written with well rounded characters, and the humor was quick, overall, totally charming. I hate to say it but to me, Bewitched in it's last 2 seasons, looked strained and repetitive. Here in Canada, they have not shown those wonderful B&W's since the early 70's! Now that is a crying shame! LUCY: I think your friend has a good point about EM's resemblance to Grace Kelly. I have heard to 2 TV historians refer to Liz as "The Grace Kelly of Television." I also thought her eyes and chin most similar to Eva Gardner....EM was quite a beauty alright. (oh, I just heard a dull roll of thunder down in Salem....AM as well of course!) BIG DAVE: Interesting question about 'least fav episode'. I would have to say that the one that stands out for me would be the 'Hansel and Gretal' episode and the one where DS head was zapped into a pig's head. I don't know what the episode title was though. Hey Dave, guess what I've been doing the last couple of days? I've been blissing out on 20 B&W's that I haven't seen in 25 years! Yahoo and Yippee!!!

Big Dave: My least favorite episodes are really similar to Lucy's. ANY from the 8th season with the exception of the King Henry VIII season opener and the one's that focus on Tabatha. I tape the SGN Bewitched shows and a couple of days ago they showed the episode with Julie Newmar (i.e. Catwoman). It is such a poor remake compared to the one made the first season. Why doesn't the Screen Gems Network show episodes from the first or second season- they are GREAT!!!

Lucy: Hey, you made a mistake! You need to modify your post to say "tired acting by everyone but AM." Don't make such a typo again! Obviously for me any non Endora episode is not a good choice to show to a first time viewer. The one w/Napoleon comes to mind as a bad one, as well as "Not so Leaning Tower of Pisa" or the one w/Adam West. Salem is very Salem like today, grey and chilly. I can see the ocean from my room in the Hawthorne. Between emails I look out at all the boats and imagine AM seeing the same view all those years ago, I have to be careful though, I got to thinking about her being here so hard in the tea room I actually started crying.....

Big Dave: I'm sorry, I wasn't ignoring what you had written, it's just that I had to think about it for a while! It's a really good question... often people have an idea of their own favourite episode, but a worst one is more difficult. I had a look through the episode guides, and fortunately thinking back at them there is not one episode that I would not bother watching the end of, even if it was bad. I have to agree that any of the non-Darrin episodes are below standard... perhaps it's because as BW fans we know the unhappy circumstances of why DY was not in the episode. However, I think an episode that I would hate watching with a Bewitched newcomer would be one of the episodes in the last season. For instance: "Samantha's not so leaning Tower of Pisa," or "Paris, Witches Style." I think it's a combination of the bad plots and the tired acting. But mainly, perhaps because I'm European and I have been to those places, it's the pathetic stock footage and the terrible scenery!

Hi everyone. I just got back from the NC State Fair last night in time to watch the A&E Biography on EM for the first time last night, and have a few comments to make. I think the program highlighted just what a great actress EM was, especially in the work she did after Bewitched ended. The pictures of her as a child were so cute, and when I saw a picture of her mother it struck me how similar EM looked to her. My roomate, although American, has never really watched Bewitched - I am her roomate due to university planning, not by choice :o) (no i love her really!) - but I made her watch Biography. By the end of the show she was more emotional than I was! She also pointed out something interesting: in many of her early publicity shots, EM looked very much like Grace Kelly: does anyone agree?

My goodness, this board has seemed rather low key the past couple days. So I will give us a topic: let's say that you have a friend come over and they have never seen BW before, for whatever reason. So your VCR is broke so no showing your favorite episode so you turn to Nick-at-Nite (pre-showing-it-at-awful-hours). Well, your heart just about sinks because they are showing a certain episode that just doesn't do justice for the show. 'Witch' episode is it? I would have to say 'Birdies, Bogeys, and Baxter' is my choice because honestly, watching golf even if witchcraft is involved is just so boring! Playing it is a different story. Also 'Samantha's Witchcraft Blows a Fuse' or any of the non-Darrin episodes because the show really is about their marriage.

Last night on A&E's Biography of Ray Walston they were speaking of how an awful lot of animals were used as 'guest stars' on 'My Favorite Martian.' Ray Walston said "On 'Bewitched' they had great people like Agnes Moorehead and Maurice Evans (he even pronounced Maurice as 'Morris') and we were using barnyard animals!" I thought it so fitting that he would mention the great abilities of AM and Maurice Evans. Of course, EM's Biography is going to be on tonight hosted by another TV witch, Caroline Rhea a.k.a Aunt Hilda from Sabrina.

Hi everyone, we've just eaten dinner and toured Gallows Hill (where the people accused as witches were hung). Broph doesn't believe in ghosts, but then again he didn't get awakened by one stomping around over his head last night either! The 7th floor on the Hawthorne is blocked off, but I was awakened last night by someone thumping around up there. Broph says it's maintenance people checking for leaks, but I know the truth. The Hawthorne is haunted after all, and ghosts love me. I had to put up w/one at three a.m. at the Susannah Flint house last year, as well as one in my room in England when I visited my pen pal. They love to wake me up and then refuse to tell me why! Broph said to tell you we want you all to be recreating the Hawthorne experience in your respective homes and we are casting a spell as we speak to see that that happens...more details later....

Endora: I'm going to wear the "Bewitched in Salem" Tee-shirt you sent me every night as a tribute until your vacation is over. You and Broph are not giving us enough updates though, we need messages from you ATLEAST every 15 minutes so we can enjoy it too!!! Have fun!!!
