Erin Murphy

Let's get her into the Bewitched Movie!

Erin Murphy played Tabitha on Bewitched for 6 years. Now they're making a movie based on the show. Sadly, most of the original cast members of the show are no longer with us, but Erin is ready, willing and able to participate in the new Bewitched movie. Although it's unlikely that there would be a "grown-up-Tabitha" part in the movie, I'm sure that there must be a part that Erin could play in the movie - even if it's just a cameo.

We can help!

One of the production companies behind the new movie is "Red Wagon Productions". We, as fans, can help get the word out - and let the production company know that Erin would love to take part in the movie.

In the past couple of years, letter-writing campaigns have helped shows like "Farscape", "Firefly" and "Angel" all get a second chance - each of these shows is soon to be reborn as movies, mini-series or even as shows on another network.

In this day of communication, post-cards can actually work better than letters - they don't have to be opened to be read, they get the idea across very quickly, there is no delay that letter can go through (some fan mail now takes almost a year to reach people!).

If you have a good printer, you can use photo-quality paper to print out a recent picture of Erin, like the one above - the producers may not even realize what a beautiful woman that Erin has become.

Regardless, just send some postcards - the more the merrier! Tell the production company that Erin is available for the movie and how much you, as a fan, would love to see her participate in the movie. Tell them about Erin's recent appearance on "Street Smarts". If you've met her in person, tell them what a warm, friendly, generous, patient, caring, thoughtful, kind and even nice person Erin is. I know that a postcard doesn't leave a lot of room to say things, but you should be able to get your thoughts across.

Right now, we don't have a good public way of telling them how to get in touch with Erin. Don't worry about that yet, but check back to this page and I'll see what I can do. If the people from "Street Smarts" could figure out how to reach Erin, I'm sure that the people from Red Wagon can as well.

Although I've listed the phone and fax numbers above, please do not abuse those lines - constantly calling or sending faxes is not the best way to help Erin. We want to be on their good side - we don't want to tick them off.
